2 Thess 2 Is NOT a Post-Trib Rapture

People will use 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 to prove that the day of Christ, which is our gathering together unto Him at the Rapture and the coming of Jesus Christ, cannot happen until the Antichrist shows up first.

But they didn’t read the verse.

The verse never said the Rapture cannot happen until the Antichrist shows up first. Paul’s saying the Rapture AND Armageddon can’t happen until the Antichrist shows up first.

Notice the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ at verse 1 is Armageddon, as 2 Thessalonians 2:8, our gathering together unto Him is the Rapture.

Also, 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 shows that they, the lost world, will be in the tribulation with the Antichrist.

But we, or you Christians, will be called to glory which is the Rapture in 2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 and Colossians 3:4.

So, the lost world will go through the tribulation but we Christians are not there and will be raptured instead.
