What does Pastor Kim think about Christmas?
Is Christmas pagan? Yes, it came from paganism, and the Babylonian religious system, Semiramus Nimrod.
Let’s look at Jeremiah 10. Notice that they were observing this long before the BCs. So why did the Catholic church take Christmas and make it into a Christian day? Because that’s the Catholic church habit, to take every pagan observance and replace it with Christian themes and meanings.
Jeremiah 10:2-5: “Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.”
Someone’s looking at the season over there. So they would chop off trees, deck them with little silver trinkets, golden glitter trinkets. And they fasten it on the ground. It’s like a Christmas tree! So far, we see that this is a pagan thing that they would do.
Notice also that they put the gifts underneath the tree. It’s like all the other pagan idols where you would put gifts or something on top of their altars. So there is no doubt that there is something pagan about it.
The last part of Jeremiah 10:5 says, “Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.”. Why? Because it’s an object.
Here’s something that a Christian should keep in mind: idols are just stones. They are nothing. There’s nothing magical or scary about them. Now it is true that there are cases of demonic forces filling in within an object, but to a Christian, because we have the Holy Spirit, those things do not affect us. So you don’t have to be afraid of these things. To us, they’re just an object.
But it is impossible, that every place you go or anything you have in your house, you will find something pagan about it. The car you’re driving now, regardless of whether it’s a Mercedes Benz, Toyota, Corolla, or Honda, guarantees that you might find a pagan symbol somewhere if you google it. With all these hand motions that you do, you can find something satanic about it. Satan worshippers have so many hand signals, one of them will hit it somewhere.
So this is how Paul says about how we observe days.
Romans 14:4-6: “Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.”
There’s a believer who believes in observing a certain day. Why? Because he’s not worshipping the devil or the Catholic church, he wants to observe it to worship Jesus Christ.
But then there’s another group of Christians who believe that day should not be something glorifying to the Lord. So then what? They don’t treat that day as if it’s glorifying to the Lord.
That’s your simple answer concerning Christmas.
Some Bible-believing pastors celebrate Christmas with their churches, and then other Bible-believing churches don’t celebrate Christmas. For example, pastor Kim doesn’t celebrate it, but his members may celebrate with their own families. They do Christmas not because they’re going to worship Virgin Mary and burn a candle. No, it’s because they want to observe Jesus Christ.
Still, Christmas is a day of gospel opportunity. Pastor does not believe in saying ‘Merry Christmas’, but it’s a good opportunity when he talks to a lost person. When he gives them a tract and says ‘Merry Christmas,’ they can’t say no because then they’ll look bad.
So that’s how we should observe the days. People might have different levels on how they would observe the days. For example, some don’t observe Christmas, but they observe the part where they take the day off and give each other gifts and have a meal together.
Here’s something to think about, you might be able to set up a tree, give out gifts, set up decorations etc., to maintain a family spirit while thinking about Jesus Christ and thanking God that He got born in that day. Still, another thing to be careful about is how much money you’re spending and how much time you’re wasting. This is even applicable to a birthday party. You got to realize that if you’re going to observe it to the Lord, do it in a way that would please Him. That’s why everybody has a different level of observing that day.
So the simple answer is to pray about it. If you feel uncomfortable about it, then your answer is already given in the last verse of Romans 14:22-23. If you don’t have a clean conscience about it, then don’t even do it. If you have a clean conscience about it, then go for it.
The history of Christmas is where Semiramis and Nimrod were the key pillars of the Catholic system, along with the spirit of Balaam, Jezebel, and Balak. How Christmas was born was supposed during December 25th that time, when Nimrod died. Semiramis gave birth to another child named Tammuz, and then Semiramis proclaimed that this was Nimrod reincarnated and reborn, so they wanted the world to observe his day. Hence came out Christmas at that time.
The wicked world making merry over the death of the two witnesses
Revelation 11:10: “And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.”
So it’s Christmas time. This is where they make merry with the two witnesses dead. Why do they make merry? Because these two prophets tormented them, they gave them heyday. They just destroyed poor mother earth. The environmentalist has spent millions of dollars protecting mother earth, and these two witnesses had the audacity to set fires on the trees. All the earth was dying out.
‘These two witnesses burned up my beloved pastor who said Jesus loves me, and one of these two witnesses blew fire on him and toasted him alive. What a horrible evil person.’ That’s what that’s happening because, at the tribulation, the Bible talks about false prophets.
Everybody has that thinking that ‘my pastor is a really good pastor who loves God.’ No matter what religion, they think of their religious leader that way.
But God shows no mercy at the tribulation.
Why? Because it’s called the wrath of God, the tribulation timeline.
You’re under the age of grace right now. The street preacher might be metaphorically blowing fire at you, but he’s not blowing fire at you. It’s an age of grace where we’re trying to give you the gospel of grace, get you out of hellfire. To the Christians who have been persecuted, unable to protect themselves from the evil government, endure criticism and scoffing, show love toward one another, pray for the lost souls and sacrifice for them so that they can get saved, those days are numbered. God put up with that 2,000 years for you. It’s about time that He passes on judgment. That’s the reason why there’s no better time for you to get saved than right now under the age of grace because when the time of wrath comes, you better work it out at that time.
The two witnesses are raptured
Revelation 11:11: “And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.”
“And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them,”
God puts His Spirit of life into them, and these people get resurrected again.
“and they stood upon their feet;”
That’s going to be something. WIth their heads chopped off, the body suddenly stands up. What do you think people are going to think? This is a zombie moment for them, and then they get their head attached.
“and great fear fell upon them which saw them.”
No kidding. Everyone was afraid.
Revelation 11:12: “And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.”
“And they heard a great voice from heaven”
Somebody from heaven is calling to them.
“saying unto them, Come up hither.”
Mark those three words down: Come up hither. Usually, when you hear this term, you know what this means. It means it’s a rapture. That means, from the earth, you go up to heaven. This was proven at Revelation 4, John was on the earth, but when God says ‘Come up hither’ he went up to heaven.
So notice there’s a rapture going on here.
“And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud;”
They went up to heaven on a cloud like Jesus did in Acts 1.
“and their enemies beheld them.”
Their enemies who watch their dead bodies lying on the street, now see them raptured up to heaven.
There is undoubtedly a rapture.
Bible-believing Christians believe in a doctrine called pre-tribulation rapture that was proven at Revelation 4. This was referring to the Christian church.
But we see over here another rapture sometime at the later end of the tribulation. This is something that typical independent fundamental Baptist churches cannot swallow, but it’s true. There is a rapture sometime at the later part of the tribulation. That’s why we believe in two raptures.
What else are you going to call it? Their bodies get resurrected, just like you at 1 Thessalonians 4, and they go up to heaven. That’s plain as day. That’s why we have strong conviction that it is the right doctrine.
Pastor Kim doesn’t like how Bible-believing preachers know about these doctrines, but since they are controversial to their fundamentalist friends, they don’t teach that to their church. So it is important to stand for the right doctrine. You got to make your church members grow. If you only grow them to a toddler level, one day, some cult pastor out there will grab that toddler from your church because they only had a toddler level of understanding.
Pastors do not have to worry if they ground their members to begin with. But you’re not going to ground them if you keep shying away from giving them meat. They need meat so that they can be strong, and Paul mentioned that so many times.
