Some anti-dispensationalists will try to disprove the idea of different gospels, they do not agree that Paul’s gospel and everlasting gospel preached during the tribulation are different. Dispensationalism means that the Bible isn’t all for everyone, but different verses are for different people in different timelines.
Galatians 1:6-8 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Verse 8 clearly says that it’s Paul’s gospel, which is about the grace of God. The gospel mentioned by an angel in Revelation 14, is about the fear for God and to worship Him, to stick to His commandments.
Revelation 14: 6,7,12 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Is the angel accursed for preaching a different gospel? That’s because this time period in Galatians (for Christians) and Revelation are not the same. The book of Revelation is for a future time period, the end times.
Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
‘Which is not another‘
Back to Galatians 1:7, Paul is saying that there is another gospel. But the critics’ gospel is not even another gospel.
Galatians 1: 11-12 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
The gospel that Paul preached is a different gospel compared to the gospel than the one that Jesus Christ preached when He was alive. That’s because Jesus Christ has not died yet.
That is how we can explain it to people who condemn Bible-believers for preaching dispensational salvation. Anti-dispensationalists are accursed for combining all the salvation plans in Galatians 1, Revelation 14, and Matthew 4 into one.
The angel mentioned in Galatians 1:8 will not be accursed in Revelation 14 even though He would be preaching a different gospel, this is because the time period is different. The Book of Galatians is during the church age, and the Book of Revelation is mostly during end times and Jesus’s millennial reign.
Revelation 14:9-11 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
‘If any man worship the beast and his image‘
This could be a virtual mark.
‘receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God‘
That same individual is going to taste God’s wrath.
‘which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation‘
That drink is poured into a cup without mixture. That’s because it’s a pure wrath, that’s why there’s no mixture.
‘and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone‘
The person is going to be tormented with fire and brimstone. Brimstone could be referring to stones on fire or sulphur.
‘in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb‘
They are tormented in the presence of angels and Jesus Christ.
‘the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever‘
There is no annihilation. The eternal hellfire goes on forever and ever.
‘whosoever receiveth the mark of his name‘
The mark could refer to ‘vicarious filii dei’. It is said that the pope crossed out that thing from this crown. It shows that the Antichrist is trying to hide his identity.
Seventh Day Adventists think that the soul goes to sleep after it dies. But that’s not true. See that God casts those who die into hell.
Luke 12: 4-5 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
The soul is also distinguished from the body as you can see above.
Revelation 19:20 matches almost word for word Revelation 14:9-11 that we just looked at. That they will be cast to hell, that they took the mark of the beast, that the lake of fire was with brimstone.
Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
That debunks the soul annihilation that is taught by Seventh Day Adventists.
