If God knows what will happen to that person, what decision that person will make, then how can that person honestly have free will to resist that?
Well, the idea is this: God knows everything that a person will decide in whatever possible scenario, and hence, He’ll make sure His will is performed, no matter what decision they make.
So, that’s a simple answer that proves His sovereignty even more.
To limit God, making sure a person makes one choice and His will is performed in that one choice, is to limit His sovereignty.
Notice 1 Samuel 23:11-12, David changed the decree of God when God told him about a scenario that will occur.
But in verse 14, when David made a different choice for a different scenario, God’s will was still performing.
