Can a Christian lose his salvation, especially after he sins?
Answer: The Bible says that a Christian that sins is still saved and he cannot lose his salvation.
The Bible says, in Ephesians 1: 13-14:
“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”
So you are sealed by the Holy Spirit as soon as you believe.
How long is this sealing?
It continues at verse 14,
“Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”
You are sealed unto the praise of his glory until you go to glory.
Ephesians 4:34 points out, “grieve not the holy spirit of God whereby, ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”
So no matter how many times you grieve God with your sin, you are still sealed all the way till that day of redemption, a Christian cannot lose his salvation.
