Death, physical, Summary:
(1) Physical death is a consequence of sin [Genesis 3:19](../../../kjv/genesis/3/19) and the universality of death proves the universality of sin [Romans 5:12-14](../../../kjv/romans/5/12-14).
(2) Physical death affects the body only, and is neither cessation of life nor of consciousness *(See Scofield "*[Romans 5:12-45](../../../kjv/romans/5/12-45)*")* .
