To comprehend what we are about to discuss, we must have an understanding of the word “dispensationalism.” Dispensationalism is important because you have to divide things when you study a doctrine. If you don’t divide things when studying doctrine, you will combine everything and come up with wicked and false doctrines. Dispensationalism provides us with the framework we need to study and interpret Scripture correctly.

Some people say that Christians have to support Zionism and some are instead on the other side, proclaiming support for Palestine, such as Steven Anderson.

What is the Bible believers’ position?

As dispensationalists, we believe that the Jews are still God’s chosen people. The nation of Israel is God’s people who He will redeem. He will restore, use, and bless them just as He has promised to do since ancient times. God has not forgotten, abandoned, or broken the covenant He made with Abraham so long ago.

We must differentiate between the descendants of Abraham, Judaism, and Zionism for clarity going forward.

  • The descendants of Abraham, the Jews are God’s chosen people with whom He made an everlasting covenant.
  • Practitioners of Judaism are people who are following a false religion.
  • Zionism is a system of political beliefs about the nation of Israel.

Although often confused with one another, all of these things are distinct and separate. Bible believers are called not to support Judaism and Zionism.

Let’s take a look at the foundation of God’s covenant with Abraham.

Genesis 15:18 In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates.

God gives Abraham and His seed land. The covenant with Abraham is a land grant that stretches from the river of Egypt to the Euphrates. Do you know how much land that is? It’s a lot more than what they got from the United Nations in 1947! But who truly has the right to give the land to whoever they want? God! And He has promised it to them.

Genesis 17:7-8 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Judges 2:1 And an angel of the LORD came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said, I made you to go up out of Egypt, and have brought you unto the land which I sware unto your fathers; and I said, I will never break my covenant with you.

Both of these verses show clearly that this covenant with the descendants of Abraham is everlasting! God vows never to break it. It is a covenant for physical Jews, not spiritual Christians. God chose the Jews as God’s people, and it will remain to be so.

Many will argue that this covenant is now null and void. We must ask then, if this covenant is not everlasting, is our salvation in Christ not everlasting? We must be consistent in taking God at His word.

The new world order elites joined the Jewish side because the Bible says the anti-Christ will side with the Jews to deceive them. They will manipulate the Jews until the time arrives, where they will deceive them and go against them. The following verses give powerful evidence to this truth.

Daniel 11:23,31,37 And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries. And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

The new world order elites support the Jewish people. But once they take control of all Israel, they will betray them and go against them. The anti-Christ will rise through this deception as foretold by the Bible.

When we say we support Israel, we are supporting the people of Israel; not the Zionists, not simply the followers of the Jewish faith, and not the new world order elites.

God has great plans for the descendants of Abraham, those who are physically Jewish. His promises to them will come to fruition. We must be careful never to jumble up this understanding with Judaism, Zionism, or the new world order elites. Never forget that God’s promises are everlasting. He is faithful and true, both in the time and Abraham, now, and forevermore.
