Do visions of Jesus convert people to Christianity?

ANSWER:

No, Bible believing Christians do not go by vision and dreams today.

Those are signs that was only applied during the apostolic era of the Jews.

Please watch the video “Amazing dispensationalism from Genesis to Revelation” by Gene Kim to understand better.

But there are some people who will argue that they got saved and converted from Islam to Christianity because of dreams or visions.

Well, in Acts 16:16-18, notice right here that a demon-possessed woman can show the gospel, the people. But Paul was grieved, he didn’t endorse it because his job is to complicate, confuse the gospel.

In 2 Corinthians 11:3-4, his job is to show another Jesus, and to complicate the gospel through that.

And notice in verse 14, it’s not a problem for him to transform into an angel of light.

That’s why Romans 10:17 argues that faith gospel is based on the Bible, not on dreams.
