Revelation 19:21 “And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”

The remaining people who survived, God makes sure that they were slain with the sword.

God was sitting on the horse. This sword comes out of His mouth.

Remember how it was shown to us, the closeness of the sword with the word of God. It could be when Jesus Christ comes down, He wipes out His enemies here, the sword that actually comes out of His mouth and judges the enemy could simply be a reference to His words. Is it so hard to believe when He speaks, it will kill? 6,000 years ago, He spoke and it was created. Creation is far harder than killing. That’s why it’s the sword that proceedeth out of His mouth because the sword can represents closely the word of God, so it could be His words.

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

God is closely assimilated with the word.

When Revelation 19 talks about His second coming, why would verse 13 talk about His name is the Word of God. Why would it mention that? It shows that it could be when this sword comes out of His mouth, it’s in reference to the word of God.

No doubt the birds were filled up with their fill of human flesh.

The angel seals Satan with unbreakable chains

Revelation 20:1 “And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.”

The angel comes down from heaven.

Earlier we saw the lake of fire, now we see a different location of hell, and that’s called the bottomless pit. That’s where the Antichrist came out of.

Notice that hell has bars. Remember in Revelation 1, He has the keys of hell. Matthew 16, the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Jonah mentions about he went down to the belly of hell and he mentioned about bars there.

He’s holding a chain.

Revelation 20:2 “And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,”

He holds that dragon. The dragon’s name is Satan, the serpent’s name is Satan or the devil.

Notice that Satan is bound by a chain for 1,000 years.

Scientists say that there’s something about dark matter where it can have solid substance and that’s something where it can be unbreakable. If that’s the case, you have to take something hard, not just an ordinary chain, to tie up the dragon. Perhaps that chain consist of dark matter.

Jude 1:6 “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.”

Scientists and atheists are arguing this dark matter is eternal, it’s everlasting. We can point them to Jude 1:6 and say ‘Thank you for supporting the Bible’.

So that dragon, that old serpent, he’s tied up under everlasting chains of darkness and it’s going to be unbreakable and he can’t break out of this.

Revelation 20:3 “And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.”

So he’s cast and shut up inside the bottomless pit and it’s locked with a seal.

If you recall, Satan tried to seal up our Lord, the Bible mentions a seal on the open mouth or the hole of that tomb. Jesus broke the devil’s seal but the devil can’t break God the Father’s seal.

That way he doesn’t deceive the nations anymore until the 1000 years of Jesus’ reign is over.

After that, the Lord’s going to let him loose but just for a little while.

Why did God loose Satan again?

Now a lot of people ask the question here, Satan is bound for a thousand years, but why will God let Satan go again? Here’s another question, why did God allow the serpent, the dragon, to tempt Adam and Eve? The simple answer is this: You’ll notice that because of Satan’s existence, it undoubtedly proves mankind’s sinful human nature and what he’s capable of.

A lot of people think that they’re such good people cause they’re living in such good times where everything is in the right conditions. But you notice when the condition gets back, all of a sudden human nature becomes ugly when they fight for the smallest piece of toilet paper under Covid.

The true reality of human nature can only be exposed and revealed when the test is done and so God does a test in that Satan. That’s why God lets Satan loose, it’s a test for mankind. During the 1,000 year reign, you will be living under perfect condition so let’s see if you’re going to not follow the devil. But guess what, they still follow the devil. Atheists complained ‘Why can’t I live in a perfect environment where everything is perfect and I’d be all right?’. No, because the Millennium is the prime example of things in perfect condition and yet mankind still rebel and sin against God. That’s why God lets the devil loose is to see how many people are so adamant to follow this wicked being.

The 1000 years of millennium where Jesus reigns

During the Millennium, people are afraid of God because He’s ruling them with the rod of iron. Not only that, He scares them by opening up hell in front of them, that’s why these people are terrified and they worship God but not out of sincerity from the heart. Until this devil is loose, then we see what’s really in their heart.

Some people don’t believe in a literal 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ, they’re called the amillennials. They think that right now you are living in the 1000 year reign kingdom of God and the 1000 is not literally 1000 number, it’s just for long lengths of time. God’s kingdom will last forever. After Jesus died on the cross, we’ve been living in His kingdom forever. But look, this is not God’s kingdom, this is the devil’s kingdom.

1000 years mean 1000 years. ‘Well, how do you know that?’
Look how many times it says 1000 years. Verse 2 He says 1000 years. Verse 3 He says 1000 years. Verse 4 He says 1000 years. Verse 5 He says 1000 years. Verse 6 He says 1000 years. Verse 7 He says 1000 years. Why else would God repeat it so many times if it’s not 1000 years?
