Is the Holy Spirit God?

Answer: Yes, the Holy Spirit is God. Jehovah’s Witnesses do not believe that the Holy Spirit is God.

However, they will be shocked to see that in their New World Translation, they have verses showing that Jehovah is the Holy Spirit.

John 4:24 mentions that God is a spirit.

So, notice right here that the holy spirit is God.

In 2 Corinthians 3:17, the Bible points out that the Lord is that Spirit.

However, in the New World Translation, it actually says, Jehovah is that spirit.

In Acts 5:3, Peter said that Ananias lied to the Holy Ghost.

However, in verse 4, it says that they lied to God. So notice right here, that Ananias lied to God who is the Holy Ghost.

All of these verses can be found in the New World Translation.

Jehovah’s Witnesses have to admit that the Holy Spirit is God.
