עֲבָדִ֣ים H5650 became David's לְדָוִ֔יד H1732 and brought נֹֽשְׂאֵ֖י H5375 gifts מִנְחָֽה׃ H4503 3 smote וַיַּ֥ךְ H5221 And David דָּוִ֛יד H1732 אֶת H853 Hadarezer הֲדַדְעֶ֥זֶר H1928 king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Zobah צוֹבָ֖ה H6678 unto Hamath חֲמָ֑תָה H2574 בְּלֶכְתּ֕וֹ H1980 to stablish לְהַצִּ֥יב H5324 his dominion יָד֖וֹ H3027 by the river בִּֽנְהַר H5104 Euphrates פְּרָֽת׃ H6578 4 took וַיִּלְכֹּד֩ H3920 And David דָּוִיד֙ H1732 מִמֶּ֜נּוּ H4480 from him a thousand אֶ֖לֶף H505 all the chariot רָֽכֶב׃ H7393 and seven וְשִׁבְעַ֤ת H7651 from him a thousand אֶ֖לֶף H505 horsemen H758 and twenty עֶשְׂרִֽים H6242 two וּשְׁנַ֥יִם H8147 thousand אֶ֖לֶף H505 men אִֽישׁ׃ H376 6 put וַיָּ֤שֶׂם H7760 David לְדָוִ֔יד H1732 and the Syrians אֲרָם֙ H758 דַּרְמֶ֔שֶׂק H1834 וַיְהִ֤י H1961 and the Syrians אֲרָם֙ H758 David לְדָוִ֔יד H1732 servants עֲבָדִ֖ים H5650 and brought נֹֽשְׂאֵ֣י H5375 gifts מִנְחָ֑ה H4503 preserved וַיּ֤וֹשַׁע H3467 Thus the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 David לְדָוִ֔יד H1732 בְּכֹ֖ל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 whithersoever he went הָלָֽךְ׃ H1980 7 took וַיִּקַּ֣ח H3947 And David דָּוִ֗יד H1732 אֵ֚ת H853 the shields שִׁלְטֵ֣י H7982 of gold הַזָּהָ֔ב H2091 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 הָי֔וּ H1961 עַ֖ל H5921 that were on the servants עַבְדֵ֣י H5650 of Hadarezer הֲדַדְעָ֑זֶר H1928 and brought וַיְבִיאֵ֖ם H935 them to Jerusalem יְרֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 8 Likewise from Tibhath וּמִטִּבְחַ֤ת H2880 and from Chun וּמִכּוּן֙ H3560 cities עָרֵ֣י H5892 of Hadarezer הֲדַדְעֶ֔זֶר H1928 brought לָקַ֥ח H3947 David דָּוִ֛יד H1732 brass הַנְּחֹֽשֶׁת׃ H5178 much רַבָּ֣ה H7227 very מְאֹ֑ד H3966 כָּל H3605 all the host חֵ֖יל H2428 of Hadarezer הֲדַדְעֶ֥זֶר H1928 king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Zobah צוֹבָֽה׃ H6678 10 He sent וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח H7971 אֶת H853 Hadoram הֲדֽוֹרָם H1913 his son בְּנ֣וֹ H1121 אֶל H413 to king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ H4428 David דָּ֠וִיד H1732 to enquire ל֨וֹ H7592 to enquire ל֨וֹ H7592 of his welfare לְשָׁל֜וֹם H7965 and to congratulate וּֽלְבָרֲכ֗וֹ H1288 עַל֩ H5921 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 him Hadarezer הֲדַדְעָ֑זֶר H1928 וְכֹ֗ל H3605 and with him all manner of vessels כְּלֵ֛י H3627 of gold זָהָ֥ב H2091 and silver וָכֶ֖סֶף H3701 and brass וּנְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ H5178 11 גַּם H1571 אֹתָ֗ם H853 dedicated הִקְדִּ֞ישׁ H6942 Them also king הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ H4428 David דָּוִיד֙ H1732 unto the LORD לַֽיהוָ֔ה H3068 עִם H5973 with the silver הַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ H3701 and the gold וְהַזָּהָ֔ב H2091 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 that he brought נָשָׂ֖א H5375 מִכָּל H3605 from all these nations הַגּוֹיִ֑ם H1471 from Edom מֵֽאֱד֤וֹם H123 and from Moab וּמִמּוֹאָב֙ H4124 and from the children וּמִבְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Ammon עַמּ֔וֹן H5983 and from the Philistines וּמִפְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים H6430 and from Amalek וּמֵֽעֲמָלֵֽק׃ H6002 12 Moreover Abishai וְאַבְשַׁ֣י H52 the son בֶּן H1121 of Zeruiah צְרוּיָ֗ה H6870 slew הִכָּ֤ה H5221 אֶת H853 of the Edomites אֱדוֹם֙ H123 in the valley בְּגֵ֣יא H1516 of salt הַמֶּ֔לַח H4417 eighteen שְׁמוֹנָ֥ה H8083 עָשָׂ֖ר H6240 thousand אָֽלֶף׃ H505 13 And he put וַיָּ֤שֶׂם H7760 and all the Edomites אֱד֖וֹם H123 garrisons נְצִיבִ֔ים H5333 וַיִּֽהְי֥וּ H1961 כָל H3605 and all the Edomites אֱד֖וֹם H123 servants עֲבָדִ֣ים H5650 David דָּוִ֔יד H1732 preserved וַיּ֤וֹשַׁע H3467 Thus the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 אֶת H853 David דָּוִ֔יד H1732 בְּכֹ֖ל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 whithersoever he went הָלָֽךְ׃ H1980 14 reigned וַיִּמְלֹ֥ךְ H4427 So David דָּוִ֖יד H1732 עַל H5921 כָּל H3605 over all Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 וַיְהִ֗י H1961 and executed עֹשֶׂ֛ה H6213 judgment מִשְׁפָּ֥ט H4941 and justice וּצְדָקָ֖ה H6666 לְכָל H3605 among all his people עַמּֽוֹ׃ H5971 15 And Joab וְיוֹאָ֥ב H3097 the son בֶּן H1121 of Zeruiah צְרוּיָ֖ה H6870 עַל H5921 was over the host הַצָּבָ֑א H6635 and Jehoshaphat וִיהֽוֹשָׁפָ֥ט H3092 the son בֶּן H1121 of Ahilud אֲחִיל֖וּד H286 recorder מַזְכִּֽיר׃ H2142 16 And Zadok וְצָד֧וֹק H6659 the son בֶּן H1121 of Ahitub אֲחִיט֛וּב H285 and Abimelech וַֽאֲבִימֶ֥לֶךְ H40 the son בֶּן H1121 of Abiathar אֶבְיָתָ֖ר H54 were the priests כֹּֽהֲנִ֑ים H3548 and Shavsha וְשַׁוְשָׁ֖א H7798 was scribe סוֹפֵֽר׃ H5608 17 And Benaiah וּבְנָיָ֙הוּ֙ H1141 and the sons וּבְנֵֽי H1121 of Jehoiada יְה֣וֹיָדָ֔ע H3077 עַל H5921 was over the Cherethites הַכְּרֵתִ֖י H3774 and the Pelethites וְהַפְּלֵתִ֑י H6432 and the sons וּבְנֵֽי H1121 of David דָוִ֥יד H1732 were chief הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֖ים H7223 about לְיַ֥ד H3027 the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 [1 Chronicles
