H7592 לְּךָ֜ H0 life יָמִ֣ים H3117 for thyself long רַבִּ֗ים H7227 וְלֹֽא H3808 and hast not asked וְשָׁאַ֧לְתָּ H7592 לְּךָ֙ H0 riches עֹ֔שֶׁר H6239 וְלֹ֥א H3808 and hast not asked וְשָׁאַ֧לְתָּ H7592 the life נֶ֣פֶשׁ H5315 of thine enemies אֹֽיְבֶ֑יךָ H341 and hast not asked וְשָׁאַ֧לְתָּ H7592 לְּךָ֛ H0 for thyself understanding הָבִ֖ין H995 to discern לִשְׁמֹ֥עַ H8085 judgment מִשְׁפָּֽט׃ H4941 12 הִנֵּ֥ה H2009 Behold I have done עָשִׂ֖יתִי H6213 according to thy words כִּדְבָרֶ֑יךָ H1697 הִנֵּ֣ה׀ H2009 lo I have given נָתַ֣תִּי H5414 לְךָ֗ H0 heart לֵ֚ב H3820 thee a wise חָכָ֣ם H2450 and an understanding וְנָב֔וֹן H995 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 כָּמ֙וֹךָ֙ H3644 לֹֽא H3808 הָיָ֣ה H1961 so that there was none like thee before לְפָנֶ֔יךָ H6440 thee neither after וְאַֽחֲרֶ֖יךָ H310 לֹֽא H3808 thee shall any arise יָק֥וּם H6965 כָּמֽוֹךָ׃ H3644 13 וְגַ֨ם H1571 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 thee that which thou hast not asked שָׁאַ֙לְתָּ֙ H7592 And I have also given נָתַ֣תִּי H5414 לָ֔ךְ H0 גַּם H1571 both riches עֹ֖שֶׁר H6239 גַּם H1571 and honour כָּב֑וֹד H3519 אֲ֠שֶׁר H834 לֹֽא H3808 הָיָ֨ה H1961 כָמ֥וֹךָ H3644 so that there shall not be any אִ֛ישׁ H376 among the kings בַּמְּלָכִ֖ים H4428 כָּל H3605 like unto thee all thy days יָמֶֽיךָ׃ H3117 14 וְאִ֣ם׀ H518 did walk הָלַ֖ךְ H1980 in my ways בִּדְרָכַ֗י H1870 to keep לִשְׁמֹ֤ר H8104 my statutes חֻקַּי֙ H2706 and my commandments וּמִצְוֹתַ֔י H4687 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 did walk הָלַ֖ךְ H1980 David דָּוִ֣יד H1732 as thy father אָבִ֑יךָ H1 then I will lengthen וְהַֽאֲרַכְתִּ֖י H748 אֶת H853 thy days יָמֶֽיךָ׃ H3117 15 awoke וַיִּקַ֥ץ H3364 And Solomon שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה H8010 וְהִנֵּ֣ה H2009 and behold it was a dream חֲל֑וֹם H2472 And he came וַיָּב֨וֹא H935 to Jerusalem יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֜ם H3389 and stood וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֣ד׀ H5975 before לִפְנֵ֣י׀ H6440 the ark אֲר֣וֹן H727 of the covenant בְּרִית H1285 אֲדֹנָ֗י H136 and offered up וַיַּ֤עַל H5927 burnt offerings עֹלוֹת֙ H5930 and made וַיַּ֥עַשׂ H6213 peace offerings שְׁלָמִ֔ים H8002 and made וַיַּ֥עַשׂ H6213 a feast מִשְׁתֶּ֖ה H4960 לְכָל H3605 to all his servants עֲבָדָֽיו׃ H5650 16 אָ֣ז H227 Then came תָּבֹ֗אנָה H935 there two שְׁתַּ֛יִם H8147 women נָשִׁ֥ים H802 that were harlots זֹנ֖וֹת H2181 אֶל H413 unto the king הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ H4428 and stood וַֽתַּעֲמֹ֖דְנָה H5975 before לְפָנָֽיו׃ H6440 17 said וַתֹּ֜אמֶר H559 I and this woman וְהָֽאִשָּׁ֣ה H802 And the one אֶחָ֑ד H259 O בִּ֣י H994 my lord אֲדֹנִ֔י H113 אֲנִי֙ H589 I and this woman וְהָֽאִשָּׁ֣ה H802 הַזֹּ֔את H2063 dwell יֹֽשְׁבֹ֖ת H3427 house בַּבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 And the one אֶחָ֑ד H259 and I was delivered of a child וָֽאֵלֵ֥ד H3205 עִמָּ֖הּ H5973 house בַּבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 18 וַיְהִ֞י H1961 day בַּיּ֤וֹם H3117 And it came to pass the third הַשְּׁלִישִׁי֙ H7992 after that I was delivered וַתֵּ֖לֶד H3205 after that I was delivered וַתֵּ֖לֶד H3205 גַּם H1571 that this woman הָֽאִשָּׁ֣ה H802 הַזֹּ֑את H2063 וַֽאֲנַ֣חְנוּ H587 also and we were together יַחְדָּ֗ו H3162 אֵֽין H369 there was no stranger זָ֤ר H2114 אִתָּ֙נוּ֙ H854 in the house בַּבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 save זֽוּלָתִ֥י H2108 we two שְׁתַּֽיִם H8147 אֲנַ֖חְנוּ H587 in the house בַּבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 19 died וַיָּ֛מָת H4191 child בֶּן H1121 And this woman's הָֽאִשָּׁ֥ה H802 הַזֹּ֖את H2063 in the night לָ֑יְלָה H3915 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 because she overlaid שָֽׁכְבָ֖ה H7901 עָלָֽיו׃ H5921 20 And she arose וַתָּקָם֩ H6965 at midnight בְּת֨וֹךְ H8432 הַלַּ֜יְלָה H3915 and took וַתִּקַּ֧ח H3947 אֶת H853 child בְּנָ֥הּ H1121 from beside מֵֽאֶצְלִ֗י H681 me while thine handmaid וַאֲמָֽתְךָ֙ H519 slept יְשֵׁנָ֔ה H3463 and laid הִשְׁכִּ֥יבָה H7901 in my bosom בְחֵיקִֽי׃ H2436 וְאֶת H853 child בְּנָ֥הּ H1121 her dead הַמֵּ֖ת H4191 and laid הִשְׁכִּ֥יבָה H7901 in my bosom בְחֵיקִֽי׃ H2436 21 And when I rose וָֽאָקֻ֥ם H6965 in the morning בַּבֹּ֔קֶר H1242 suck לְהֵינִ֥יק H3243 אֶת H853 behold it was not my son בְנִ֖י H1121 וְהִנֵּה H2009 behold it was dead מֵ֑ת H4191 but when I had considered וָֽאֶתְבּוֹנֵ֤ן H995 אֵלָיו֙ H413 in the morning בַּבֹּ֔קֶר H1242 וְהִנֵּ֛ה H2009 לֹֽא H3808 הָיָ֥ה H1961 behold it was not my son בְנִ֖י H1121 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which I did bear יָלָֽדְתִּי׃ H3205 22 And this said אֹמֶ֙רֶת֙ H559 woman הָֽאִשָּׁ֨ה H802 And the other הָֽאַחֶ֜רֶת H312 לֹ֣א H3808 כִ֗י H3588 is my son וּבְנִ֣י H1121 Nay but the living הֶחָ֑י H2416 is my son וּבְנִ֣י H1121 No but the dead הַמֵּ֖ת H4191 וְזֹ֤את H2063 And this said אֹמֶ֙רֶת֙ H559 לֹ֣א H3808 כִ֔י H1121 Then spake אֹמֶ֗רֶת H559 O בִּ֣י H994 my lord אֲדֹנִ֗י H113 give תְּנוּ H5414 לָהּ֙ H0 אֶת H853 child הַיָּל֣וּד H3205 her the living הַחַ֔י H2416 and in no wise תְּמִיתֻ֑הוּ H4191 אַל H408 and
