עִם H5973 And it was in the heart לְבַ֖ב H3824 of David דָּוִ֣ד H1732 my father אָבִ֑י H1 to build לִבְנ֣וֹת H1129 an house בַּ֔יִת H1004 for the ~ לְשֵׁ֥ם H8034 of the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 God אֱלֹהֵ֥י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 18 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 And the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 אֶל H413 unto David דָּוִ֣ד H1732 my father אָבִ֔י H1 Whereas יַ֗עַן H3282 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 הָיָה֙ H1961 עִם H5973 it was in thine heart לְבָבֶֽךָ׃ H3824 to build לִבְנ֥וֹת H1129 an house בַּ֖יִת H1004 unto my ~ לִשְׁמִ֑י H8034 thou didst well הֱֽטִיבֹ֔תָ H2895 כִּ֥י H3588 הָיָ֖ה H1961 עִם H5973 it was in thine heart לְבָבֶֽךָ׃ H3824 19 Nevertheless רַ֣ק H7535 אַתָּ֔ה H859 לֹ֥א H3808 he shall build יִבְנֶ֥ה H1129 the house הַבַּ֖יִת H1004 כִּ֤י H3588 אִם H518 but thy son בִּנְךָ֙ H1121 that shall come forth out הַבַּ֔יִת H1004 for the ~ לְשֵׁ֥ם H8034 And the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 God אֱלֹהֵ֥י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 21 And I have set וָֽאָשִׂ֨ם H7760 שָׁ֤ם H8033 there a place מָקוֹם֙ H4725 for the ark לָֽאָר֔וֹן H727 אֲשֶׁר H834 שָׁ֖ם H8033 wherein is the covenant בְּרִ֣ית H1285 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 which he made כָּרַת֙ H3772 עִם H5973 with our fathers אֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ H1 when he brought them out בְּהֽוֹצִיא֥וֹ H3318 אֹתָ֖ם H853 of the land מֵאֶ֥רֶץ H776 of Egypt מִצְרָֽיִם׃ H4714 22 stood וַיַּֽעֲמֹ֣ד H5975 And Solomon שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה H8010 before לִפְנֵי֙ H6440 the altar מִזְבַּ֣ח H4196 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 in the presence of נֶ֖גֶד H5048 כָּל H3605 all the congregation קְהַ֣ל H6951 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 and spread forth וַיִּפְרֹ֥שׂ H6566 his hands כַּפָּ֖יו H3709 toward heaven הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ H8064 23 And he said וַיֹּאמַ֗ר H559 LORD יְהוָ֞ה H3068 God אֱלֹהִ֔ים H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ H3478 אֵין H369 כָּמ֣וֹךָ H3644 God אֱלֹהִ֔ים H430 like thee in heaven בַּשָּׁמַ֣יִם H8064 above מִמַּ֔עַל H4605 וְעַל H5921 or on earth הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 מִתָּ֑חַת H8478 beneath who keepest שֹׁמֵ֤ר H8104 covenant הַבְּרִית֙ H1285 and mercy וְֽהַחֶ֔סֶד H2617 with thy servants לַֽעֲבָדֶ֕יךָ H5650 that walk הַהֹֽלְכִ֥ים H1980 before לְפָנֶ֖יךָ H6440 בְּכָל H3605 thee with all their heart לִבָּֽם׃ H3820 24 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 Who hast kept שָׁמַ֗רְתָּ H8104 with thy servant לְעַבְדְּךָ֙ H5650 David דָּוִ֣ד H1732 my father אָבִ֔י H1 אֵ֥ת H853 אֲשֶׁר H834 him thou spakest וַתְּדַבֵּ֥ר H1696 ל֑וֹ H0 him thou spakest וַתְּדַבֵּ֥ר H1696 also with thy mouth בְּפִ֛יךָ H6310 it with thine hand וּבְיָֽדְךָ֥ H3027 and hast fulfilled מִלֵּ֖אתָ H4390 as it is this day כַּיּ֥וֹם H3117 הַזֶּֽה׃ H2088 25 וְעַתָּ֞ה H6258 Therefore now LORD יְהוָ֣ה׀ H3068 God אֱלֹהֵ֣י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 keep יִשְׁמְר֨וּ H8104 with thy servant לְעַבְדְּךָ֙ H5650 David דָוִ֤ד H1732 my father אָבִי֙ H1 אֵת֩ H853 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 that thou promisedst דִּבַּ֤רְתָּ H1696 לּוֹ֙ H0 him saying לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 לֹֽא H3808 There shall not fail יִכָּרֵ֨ת H3772 לְךָ֥ H0 thee a man אִישׁ֙ H376 before לְפָנָֽי׃ H6440 to sit יֹשֵׁ֖ב H3427 עַל H5921 on the throne כִּסֵּ֣א H3678 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 so רַ֠ק H7535 אִם H518 keep יִשְׁמְר֨וּ H8104 that thy children בָנֶ֤יךָ H1121 אֶת H853 to their way דַּרְכָּם֙ H1870 me as thou hast walked הָלַ֖כְתָּ H1980 before לְפָנָֽי׃ H6440 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר word דְּבָ֣רְיךָ֔ H1697 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which thou spakest דִּבַּ֔רְתָּ H1696 unto thy servant לְעַבְדְּךָ֖ H5650 David דָּוִ֥ד H1732 my father אָבִֽי׃ H1 27 כִּ֚י H3588 indeed הַֽאֻמְנָ֔ם H552 dwell יֵשֵׁ֥ב H3427 But will God אֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 עַל H5921 on the earth הָאָ֑רֶץ H776 הִ֠נֵּה H2009 and heaven הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ H8064 and heaven הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ H8064 and heaven הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ H8064 לֹ֣א H3808 וּפָנִ֜יתָ H6437 אֶל H413 and to the prayer הַתְּפִלָּ֔ה H8605 of thy servant עַבְדְּךָ֛ H5650 וְאֶל H413 and to his supplication תְּחִנָּת֖וֹ H8467 O LORD יְהוָ֣ה H3068 my God אֱלֹהָ֑י H430 to hearken לִשְׁמֹ֤עַ H8085 אֶל H413 unto the cry הָֽרִנָּה֙ H7440 וְאֶל H413 and to the prayer הַתְּפִלָּ֔ה H8605 אֲשֶׁ֧ר H834 of thy servant עַבְדְּךָ֛ H5650 prayeth מִתְפַּלֵּ֥ל H6419 before לְפָנֶ֖יךָ H6440 thee to day הַיּֽוֹם׃ H3117 29 לִֽהְיוֹת֩ H1961 That thine eyes עֵינֶ֨ךָ H5869 may be open פְתֻחֹ֜ת H6605 אֶל H413 toward this house הַבַּ֤יִת H1004 הַזֶּה֙ H2088 night לַ֣יְלָה H3915 mayest hearken לִשְׁמֹ֙עַ֙ H8085 אֶל H413 unto the prayer הַתְּפִלָּ֔ה H8605 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 shall make יִתְפַּלֵּ֣ל H6419 which thy servant עַבְדְּךָ֔ H5650 אֶל H413 even toward the place הַמָּק֖וֹם H4725 הַזֶּֽה׃ H2088 30 And hearken וְשָֽׁמַעְתָּ֖ H8085 אֶל H413 thou to the supplication תְּחִנַּ֤ת H8467 of thy servant עַבְדְּךָ֙ H5650 and of thy people וְעַמְּךָ֣ H5971 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 when they shall pray יִֽתְפַּלְל֖וּ H6419 אֶל H413 place מְק֤וֹם H4725 הַזֶּ֑ה H2088 וְ֠אַתָּה H859 And hearken וְשָֽׁמַעְתָּ֖ H8085 אֶל H413 place מְק֤וֹם H4725 thy dwelling שִׁבְתְּךָ֙ וְשָֽׁפַטְתָּ֣ H8199 אֶת H853 thy servants עֲבָדֶ֔יךָ H5650 condemning לְהַרְשִׁ֣יעַ H7561 the wicked רָשָׁ֔ע H7563 to bring לָ֥תֶת H5414 his way דַּרְכּ֖וֹ H1870 upon his head בְּרֹאשׁ֑וֹ H7218 and justifying וּלְהַצְדִּ֣יק H6663 the righteous צַדִּ֔יק H6662 to bring לָ֥תֶת H5414 ל֖וֹ H0 him according to his righteousness כְּצִדְקָתֽוֹ׃ H6666 33 be smitten down בְּֽהִנָּגֵ֞ף H5062 When thy H7725 אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ H413 to thee and confess וְהוֹד֣וּ H3034 אֶת H853 thy ~ שְׁמֶ֔ךָ H8034 and pray וְהִתְפַּֽלְל֧וּ H6419 and make supplication וְהִֽתְחַנְּנ֛וּ H2603 אֵלֶ֖יךָ H413 unto thee in this H1931 hallow קִדַּ֨שׁ H6942 did the king הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ H4428 אֶת H853 the middle תּ֣וֹךְ H8432 of the court הֶֽחָצֵ֗ר H2691 אֲשֶׁר֙ H834 that was before לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 the house בֵית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 כִּי H3588 for there he offered עָ֣שָׂה H6213 שָׁ֗ם H8033 אֶת H853 burnt offerings הָֽעֹלָ֣ה H5930 וְאֶת H853 and meat offerings הַמִּנְחָ֔ה H4503 וְאֵ֖ת H853 and the fat חֶלְבֵ֥י H2459 of the peace offerings הַשְּׁלָמִֽים׃ H8002 כִּֽי H3588 altar מִזְבַּ֤ח H4196 because the brasen הַנְּחֹ֙שֶׁת֙ H5178 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 that was before לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 was too little קָטֹ֗ן H6996 to receive מֵֽהָכִיל֙ H3557 אֶת H853 burnt offerings הָֽעֹלָ֣ה H5930 וְאֶת H853 and meat offerings הַמִּנְחָ֔ה H4503 וְאֵ֖ת H853 and the fat חֶלְבֵ֥י H2459 of the peace offerings
