mine hand בְּיָדִ֔י H3027 כִּ֚י H3588 for he is shut in נִסְגַּ֣ר H5462 by entering לָב֔וֹא H935 into a town בְּעִ֖יר H5892 that hath gates דְּלָתַ֥יִם H1817 and bars וּבְרִֽיחַ׃ H1280 8 called וַיְשַׁמַּ֥ע H8085 And Saul שָׁא֛וּל H7586 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all the people הָעָ֖ם H5971 to war לַמִּלְחָמָ֑ה H4421 to go down לָרֶ֣דֶת H3381 to Keilah קְעִילָ֔ה H7084 to besiege לָצ֥וּר H6696 אֶל יַסְגִּֽירוּ׃ H5462 13 arose וַיָּקָם֩ H6965 Then David דָּוִד֙ H1732 וַֽאֲנָשָׁ֜יו H376 which were about six כְּשֵׁשׁ H8337 hundred מֵא֣וֹת H3967 אִ֗ישׁ H376 and departed לָצֵֽאת׃ H3318 from Keilah מִקְּעִילָ֔ה H7084 and went יִתְהַלָּ֑כוּ H1980 whithersoever בַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 and went יִתְהַלָּ֑כוּ H1980 Saul וּלְשָׁא֣וּל H7586 And it was told הֻגַּ֗ד H5046 כִּֽי H3588 was escaped נִמְלַ֤ט H4422 Then David דָּוִד֙ H1732 from Keilah מִקְּעִילָ֔ה H7084 and he forbare וַיֶּחְדַּ֖ל H2308 and departed לָצֵֽאת׃ H3318 14 abode וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב H3427 And David דָּוִ֤ד H1732 in the wilderness בְּמִדְבַּר H4057 in strong holds בַּמְּצָד֔וֹת H4679 abode וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב H3427 in a mountain בָּהָ֖ר H2022 in the wilderness בְּמִדְבַּר H4057 of Ziph זִ֑יף H2128 sought וַיְבַקְשֵׁ֤הוּ H1245 And Saul שָׁאוּל֙ H7586 כָּל H3605 him every day הַיָּמִ֔ים H3117 וְלֹֽא H3808 delivered נְתָנ֥וֹ H5414 but God אֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 him not into his hand בְּיָדֽוֹ׃ H3027 15 saw וַיַּ֣רְא H7200 And David וְדָוִ֥ד H1732 כִּֽי H3588 was come out יָצָ֥א H3318 that Saul שָׁא֖וּל H7586 to seek לְבַקֵּ֣שׁ H1245 אֶת H853 his life נַפְשׁ֑וֹ H5315 And David וְדָוִ֥ד H1732 was in the wilderness בְּמִדְבַּר H4057 of Ziph זִ֖יף H2128 in a wood בַּחֹֽרְשָׁה׃ H2793 16 arose וַיָּ֙קָם֙ H6965 And Jonathan יְהֽוֹנָתָ֣ן H3083 son בֶּן H1121 Saul's שָׁא֔וּל H7586 וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ H1980 אֶל H413 to David דָּוִ֖ד H1732 into the wood חֹ֑רְשָׁה H2793 and strengthened וַיְחַזֵּ֥ק H2388 אֶת H853 his hand יָד֖וֹ H3027 in God בֵּֽאלֹהִֽים׃ H430 17 And he said וַיֹּ֨אמֶר H559 אֵלָ֜יו H413 אַל H408 unto him Fear תִּירָ֗א H3372 כִּ֠י H3588 לֹ֤א H3808 shall not find תִֽמְצָאֲךָ֙ H4672 not for the hand יַ֚ד H3027 of Saul שָׁא֥וּל H7586 my father אָבִ֖י H1 וְאַתָּה֙ H859 thee and thou shalt be king תִּמְלֹ֣ךְ H4427 עַל H5921 over H2793 and Jonathan וִיהֽוֹנָתָ֖ן H3083 went הָלַ֥ךְ H1980 to his house לְבֵיתֽוֹ׃ H1004 19 Then came up וַיַּֽעֲל֤וּ H5927 the Ziphites זִפִים֙ H2130 אֶל H413 to Saul שָׁא֔וּל H7586 to Gibeah הַגִּבְעָ֖תָה H1390 saying לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 הֲל֣וֹא H3808 Doth not David דָ֠וִד H1732 hide מִסְתַּתֵּ֨ר H5641 עִמָּ֤נוּ H5973 himself with us in strong holds בַמְּצָדוֹת֙ H4679 in the wood בַּחֹ֔רְשָׁה H2793 in the hill בְּגִבְעַת֙ H1389 of Hachilah הַֽחֲכִילָ֔ה H2444 אֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 which is on the south מִימִ֥ין H3225 of Jeshimon הַיְשִׁימֽוֹן׃ H3452 20 וְ֠עַתָּה H6258 לְכָל H3605 according to all the desire אַוַּ֨ת H185 of thy soul נַפְשְׁךָ֥ H5315 Now therefore O king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 come down רֵ֑ד H3381 come down רֵ֑ד H3381 וְלָ֥נוּ H0 and our part shall be to deliver הַסְגִּיר֖וֹ H5462 hand בְּיַ֥ד H3027 Now therefore O king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 21 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And Saul שָׁא֔וּל H7586 Blessed בְּרוּכִ֥ים H1288 אַתֶּ֖ם H859 be ye of the LORD לַֽיהוָ֑ה H3068 כִּ֥י H3588 for ye have compassion חֲמַלְתֶּ֖ם H2550 עָלָֽי׃ H5921 22 לְכוּ H1980 נָ֞א H4994 I pray you prepare הָכִ֣ינוּ H3559 ע֗וֹד H5750 yet and know וּדְע֤וּ H3045 and see רָאָ֖הוּ H7200 אֶת H853 his place מְקוֹמוֹ֙ H4725 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 תִּֽהְיֶ֣ה H1961 where his haunt רַגְל֔וֹ H7272 מִ֥י H4310 and see רָאָ֖הוּ H7200 שָׁ֑ם H8033 כִּ֚י H3588 him there for it is told אָמַ֣ר H559 אֵלַ֔י H413 me that he dealeth very אַלְפֵ֥י H505 of Judah יְהוּדָֽה׃ H3063 24 And they arose וַיָּק֛וּמוּ H6965 וַיֵּֽלְכ֥וּ H1980 to Ziph זִ֖יפָה H2128 before לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 Saul שָׁא֑וּל H7586 but David וְדָוִ֨ד H1732 וַֽאֲנָשָׁ֜יו H376 were in the wilderness בְּמִדְבַּ֤ר H4057 of Maon מָעוֹן֙ H4584 in the plain בָּֽעֲרָבָ֔ה H6160 אֶ֖ל H413 on the south יְמִ֥ין H3225 of Jeshimon הַיְשִׁימֽוֹן׃ H3452 25 וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ H1980 And when Saul שָׁא֔וּל H7586 וַֽאֲנָשָׁיו֮ H376 to seek לְבַקֵּשׁ֒ H1245 him And they told וַיַּגִּ֣דוּ H5046 David דָוִ֖ד H1732 wherefore he came down וַיֵּ֣רֶד H3381 into a rock הַסֶּ֔לַע H5553 and abode וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב H3427 in the wilderness מִדְבַּ֥ר H4057 of Maon מָעֽוֹן׃ H4584 heard וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע H8085 And when Saul שָׁא֔וּל H7586 that he pursued וַיִּרְדֹּ֥ף H7291 after אַחֲרֵֽי H310 David דָוִ֖ד H1732 in the wilderness מִדְבַּ֥ר H4057 of Maon מָעֽוֹן׃ H4584 26 וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ H1980 And Saul וְשָׁא֣וּל H7586 on that side מִצַּ֥ד H6654 of the mountain הָהָ֖ר H2022 מִזֶּ֔ה H2088 David דָּוִ֥ד H1732
