But one אֶחָ֛ד H259 of the young men מֵֽהַנְּעָרִ֖ים H5288 saying לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 הִנֵּ֣ה H2009 sent שָׁלַח֩ H7971 Behold David דָּוִ֨ד H1732 messengers מַלְאָכִ֧ים׀ H4397 out of the wilderness מֵֽהַמִּדְבָּ֛ר H4057 to salute לְבָרֵ֥ךְ H1288 אֶת H853 our master אֲדֹנֵ֖ינוּ H113 and he railed וַיָּ֥עַט H5860 בָּהֶֽם׃ H0 15 But the men וְהָ֣אֲנָשִׁ֔ים H582 good טֹבִ֥ים H2896 לָ֖נוּ H0 were אֶל H413 against our master אֲדֹנֵ֖ינוּ H113 וְעַ֣ל H5921 כָּל H3605 and against all his household בֵּית֑וֹ H1004 וְהוּא֙ H1931 for he is such a son בֶּן H1121 of Belial בְּלִיַּ֔עַל H1100 that a man cannot speak מִדַּבֵּ֖ר H1696 אֵלָֽיו׃ H413 18 made haste וַתְּמַהֵ֣ר H4116 Then Abigail אֲבִוֹגַ֡יִל H26 and took וַתִּקַּח֩ H3947 and two hundred וּמָאתַ֣יִם H3967 loaves לֶ֜חֶם H3899 and two וּשְׁנַ֣יִם H8147 bottles נִבְלֵי H5035 of wine יַ֗יִן H3196 and five וְחָמֵ֤שׁ H2568 sheep צֹ֤אן H6629 ready dressed עֲשׂוּוֹת֙ H6213 and five וְחָמֵ֤שׁ H2568 measures סְאִים֙ H5429 of parched קָלִ֔י H7039 and two hundred וּמָאתַ֣יִם H3967 clusters of raisins צִמֻּקִ֖ים H6778 and two hundred וּמָאתַ֣יִם H3967 cakes דְּבֵלִ֑ים H1690 of figs and laid וַתָּ֖שֶׂם H7760 עַל H5921 them on asses הַֽחֲמֹרִֽים׃ H2543 19 And she said וַתֹּ֤אמֶר H559 unto her servants לִנְעָרֶ֙יהָ֙ H5288 Go on עִבְר֣וּ H5674 before לְפָנַ֔י H6440 הִנְנִ֖י H2005 after אַֽחֲרֵיכֶ֣ם H310 me behold I come בָּאָ֑ה הַחֲמ֗וֹר H2543 came down יֹֽרְדִ֖ים H3381 by the covert בְּסֵ֣תֶר H5643 of the hill הָהָ֔ר H2022 וְהִנֵּ֤ה H2009 and behold David דָוִד֙ H1732 וַֽאֲנָשָׁ֔יו H376 came down יֹֽרְדִ֖ים H3381 against לִקְרָאתָ֑הּ H7125 her and she met וַתִּפְגֹּ֖שׁ H6298 אֹתָֽם׃ H853 21 Now David וְדָוִ֣ד H1732 had said אָמַ֗ר H559 אַךְ֩ H389 Surely in vain לַשֶּׁ֨קֶר H8267 have I kept שָׁמַ֜רְתִּי H8104 אֶֽת H853 כָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 all that this לָזֶה֙ H2088 fellow hath in the wilderness בַּמִּדְבָּ֔ר H4057 וְלֹֽא H3808 was missed נִפְקַ֥ד H6485 מִכָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 ל֖וֹ H0 so that nothing מְא֑וּמָה H430 unto the enemies לְאֹֽיְבֵ֥י H341 of David דָוִ֖ד H1732 So וְכֹ֣ה H3541 and more יֹסִ֑יף H3254 אִם H518 if I leave אַשְׁאִ֧יר H7604 מִכָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 ל֛וֹ H0 of all that pertain to him by hasted וַתְּמַהֵ֕ר H4116 and lighted off וַתֵּ֖רֶד H3381 מֵעַ֣ל H5921 the ass הַֽחֲמ֑וֹר H2543 and fell וַתִּפֹּ֞ל H5307 before לְאַפֵּ֤י H639 David דָוִד֙ H1732 עַל H5921 on her face פָּנֶ֔יהָ H6440 and bowed וַתִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּ H7812 herself to the ground אָֽרֶץ׃ H776 24 And fell וַתִּפֹּל֙ H5307 עַל H5921 at his feet רַגְלָ֔יו H7272 and said וַתֹּ֕אמֶר H559 בִּי H0 of thine handmaid אֲנִ֥י H589 Upon me my lord אֲדֹנִ֖י H113 upon me let this iniquity הֶֽעָוֹ֑ן H5771 I pray thee speak וּֽתְדַבֶּר H1696 נָ֤א H4994 be and let thine handmaid אֲמָתֶֽךָ׃ H519 in thine audience בְּאָזְנֶ֔יךָ H241 young men נַֽעֲרֵ֥י H5288 not my lord אֲדֹנִ֖י H113 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 whom thou didst send שָׁלָֽחְתָּ׃ H7971 26 וְעַתָּ֣ה H6258 Now therefore my lord אֲדֹנִ֖י H113 liveth וְחֵֽי H2416 as the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 liveth וְחֵֽי H2416 and as thy soul נַפְשְׁךָ֙ H5315 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 hath withholden מְנָֽעֲךָ֤ H4513 as the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 thee from coming מִבּ֣וֹא H935 to shed blood בְדָמִ֔ים H1818 and from avenging וְהוֹשֵׁ֥עַ H3467 thyself with thine own hand יָֽדְךָ֖ H3027 לָ֑ךְ H0 וְעַתָּ֗ה H6258 יִֽהְי֤וּ H1961 be as Nabal כְנָבָל֙ H5037 now let thine enemies אֹֽיְבֶ֔יךָ H341 and they that seek וְהַֽמְבַקְשִׁ֥ים H1245 אֶל H413 Now therefore my lord אֲדֹנִ֖י H113 evil רָעָֽה׃ H7451 27 וְעַתָּה֙ H6258 And now this blessing הַבְּרָכָ֣ה H1293 הַזֹּ֔את H2063 אֲשֶׁר H834 hath brought הֵבִ֥יא H935 which thine handmaid שִׁפְחָֽתְךָ֖ H8198 my lord אֲדֹנִֽי׃ H113 let it even be given וְנִתְּנָה֙ H5414 unto the young men לַנְּעָרִ֔ים H5288 that follow הַמִּֽתְהַלְּכִ֖ים H1980 בְּרַגְלֵ֥י H7272 my lord אֲדֹנִֽי׃ H113 28 I pray thee forgive שָׂ֥א H5375 נָ֖א H4994 the trespass לְפֶ֣שַׁע H6588 of thine handmaid אֲמָתֶ֑ךָ H519 כִּ֣י H3588 make יַעֲשֶׂה֩ H6213 make יַעֲשֶׂה֩ H6213 for the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 because my lord אֲדֹנִ֣י H113 house בַּ֣יִת H1004 a sure נֶֽאֱמָ֗ן H539 כִּֽי H3588 the battles מִלְחֲמ֤וֹת H4421 for the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 because my lord אֲדֹנִ֣י H113 fighteth נִלְחָ֔ם H3898 and evil וְרָעָ֛ה H7451 לֹֽא H3808 hath not been found תִמָּצֵ֥א H4672 בְךָ֖ H0 in thee all thy days מִיָּמֶֽיךָ׃ H3117 29 is risen וַיָּ֤קָם H6965 Yet a man אָדָם֙ H120 to pursue לִרְדָפְךָ֔ H7291 thee and to seek וּלְבַקֵּ֖שׁ H1245 אֶת H853 and the souls נֶ֤פֶשׁ H5315 וְֽהָיְתָה֩ H1961 and the souls נֶ֤פֶשׁ H5315 of my lord אֲדֹנִ֜י H113 shall be bound צְרוּרָ֣ה׀ H6887 in the bundle בִּצְר֣וֹר H6872 of life הַֽחַיִּ֗ים H2416 אֵ֚ת H854 with the LORD יְהוָ֣ה H3068 thy God אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ H430 וְאֵ֨ת H853 and the souls נֶ֤פֶשׁ H5315 of thine enemies אֹֽיְבֶ֙יךָ֙ H341 them shall he sling out יְקַלְּעֶ֔נָּה H7049 as out of the middle בְּת֖וֹךְ H8432 כַּ֥ף H3709 of a sling הַקָּֽלַע׃ H7050 30 וְהָיָ֗ה H1961 כִּֽי H3588 shall have done יַעֲשֶׂ֤ה H6213 And it shall come to pass when the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 to my lord לַֽאדֹנִ֔י H113 כְּכֹ֛ל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 that he hath spoken דִּבֶּ֥ר H1696 אֶת H853 according to all the good הַטּוֹבָ֖ה H2896 עָלֶ֑יךָ H5921 concerning thee and shall have appointed וְצִוְּךָ֥ H6680 thee ruler לְנָגִ֖יד H5057 עַל H5921 over Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 31 וְלֹ֣א H3808 תִֽהְיֶ֣ה H1961 זֹ֣את׀ H2063 לְךָ֡ H0 That this shall be no grief לְפוּקָה֩ H6330 unto thee nor offence וּלְמִכְשׁ֨וֹל H4383 of heart לֵ֜ב H3820 or that my lord לַֽאדֹנִ֔י H113 either that thou hast shed וְלִשְׁפָּךְ H8210 blood דָּם֙ H1818 causeless חִנָּ֔ם H2600 hath avenged וּלְהוֹשִׁ֥יעַ H3467 or that my lord לַֽאדֹנִ֔י H113 ל֑וֹ H0 shall have dealt well וְהֵיטִ֤ב H3190 himself but when the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 or that my lord לַֽאדֹנִ֔י H113 then remember וְזָֽכַרְתָּ֖ H2142 אֶת H853 thine handmaid אֲמָתֶֽךָ׃ H519 32 said וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 And David דָּוִ֖ד H1732 to Abigail לַֽאֲבִיגַ֑ל H26 Blessed בָּר֤וּךְ H1288 be the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 God אֱלֹהֵ֣י
