הָֽעַשְׁתָּרֹ֑ת H6252 and served וַיַּֽעַבְד֥וּ H5647 אֶת H853 the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 לְבַדּֽוֹ׃ H905 5 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And Samuel שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל H8050 Gather קִבְצ֥וּ H6908 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 הַמִּצְפָּ֑תָה H4709 and I will pray וְאֶתְפַּלֵּ֥ל H6419 בַּֽעַדְכֶ֖ם H1157 אֶל H413 for you unto the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 6 And they gathered together וַיִּקָּֽבְצ֣וּ H6908 to Mizpeh בַּמִּצְפָּֽה׃ H4709 and drew וַיִּֽשְׁאֲבוּ H7579 water מַ֜יִם H4325 and poured it out וַֽיִּשְׁפְּכ֣וּ׀ H8210 before לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 against the LORD לַֽיהוָ֑ה H3068 and fasted And Samuel שְׁמוּאֵ֛ל H8050 אֶת H853 the children בְּנֵ֥י H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 to Mizpeh בַּמִּצְפָּֽה׃ H4709 7 heard וַֽיִּשְׁמְעוּ֙ H8085 And when the Philistines פְלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ H6430 כִּֽי H3588 were gathered together הִתְקַבְּצ֤וּ H6908 And when the children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 against Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 הַמִּצְפָּ֔תָה H4709 went up וַיַּֽעֲל֥וּ H5927 the lords סַרְנֵֽי H5633 And when the Philistines פְלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ H6430 אֶל H413 against Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 heard וַֽיִּשְׁמְעוּ֙ H8085 And when the children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 against Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 it they were afraid וַיִּֽרְא֖וּ H3372 of מִפְּנֵ֥י H6440 And when the Philistines פְלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ H6430 8 said וַיֹּֽאמְר֤וּ H559 And the children בְנֵֽי H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ H3478 אֶל H413 to Samuel שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל H8050 אַל H408 Cease תַּֽחֲרֵ֣שׁ H2790 מִמֶּ֔נּוּ H4480 not to cry מִזְּעֹ֖ק H2199 אֶל H413 unto the LORD יְהוָ֣ה H3068 our God אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ H430 for us that he will save וְיֹֽשִׁעֵ֖נוּ H3467 us out of the hand מִיַּ֥ד H3027 of the Philistines פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ H6430 9 took וַיִּקַּ֣ח H3947 And Samuel שְׁמוּאֵ֤ל H8050 lamb טְלֵ֤ה H2924 sucking חָלָב֙ H2461 a אֶחָ֔ד H259 and offered וַיַּֽעֲלֵ֧ה H5927 it for a burnt offering עוֹלָ֛ה H5930 wholly כָּלִ֖יל H3632 and the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 cried וַיִּזְעַ֨ק H2199 And Samuel שְׁמוּאֵ֤ל H8050 אֶל H413 and the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 בְּעַ֣ד H1157 for Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 heard וַֽיַּעֲנֵ֖הוּ H6030 and the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 10 וַיְהִ֤י H1961 And as Samuel שְׁמוּאֵל֙ H8050 was offering up מַֽעֲלֶ֣ה H5927 the burnt offering הָֽעוֹלָ֔ה H5930 the Philistines פְּלִשְׁתִּים֙ H6430 drew near נִגְּשׁ֔וּ H5066 to battle לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה H4421 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 thundered וַיַּרְעֵ֣ם H7481 but the LORD יְהוָ֣ה׀ H3068 thunder בְּקוֹל H6963 with a great גָּ֠דוֹל H1419 on that day בַּיּ֨וֹם H3117 הַה֤וּא H1931 עַל H5921 the Philistines פְּלִשְׁתִּים֙ H6430 and discomfited וַיְהֻמֵּ֔ם H2000 them and they were smitten וַיִּנָּֽגְפ֖וּ H5062 before לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 11 went out וַיֵּ֨צְא֜וּ H3318 And the men אַנְשֵׁ֤י H582 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ H3478 מִן H4480 of Mizpeh הַמִּצְפָּ֔ה H4709 and pursued וַֽיִּרְדְּפ֖וּ H7291 אֶת H853 the Philistines פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים H6430 and smote וַיַּכּ֕וּם H5221 עַד H5704 מִתַּ֖חַת H8478 לְבֵ֥ית H0 them until they came under Bethcar כָּֽר׃ H1033 12 took וַיִּקַּ֨ח H3947 Then Samuel שְׁמוּאֵ֜ל H8050 stone אֶ֣בֶן H68 a אַחַ֗ת H259 and set וַיָּ֤שֶׂם H7760 בֵּֽין H996 it between Mizpeh הַמִּצְפָּה֙ H4709 וּבֵ֣ין H996 and Shen הַשֵּׁ֔ן H8129 and called וַיִּקְרָ֥א H7121 אֶת H853 the name שְׁמָ֖הּ H8034 אֶ֣בֶן H0 of it Ebenezer הָעָ֑זֶר H72 saying וַיֹּאמַ֕ר H559 עַד H5704 הֵ֖נָּה H2008 helped עֲזָרָ֥נוּ H5826 Hitherto hath the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 13 were subdued וַיִּכָּֽנְעוּ֙ H3665 So the Philistines בַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים H6430 וְלֹֽא H3808 no more יָסְפ֣וּ H3254 ע֔וֹד H5750 and they came לָב֖וֹא H935 into the coast בִּגְב֣וּל H1366 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 וַתְּהִ֤י H1961 and the hand יַד H3027 of the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 So the Philistines בַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים H6430 כֹּ֖ל H3605 all the days יְמֵ֥י H3117 of Samuel שְׁמוּאֵֽל׃ H8050 14 were restored וַתָּשֹׁ֣בְנָה H7725 And the cities הֶֽעָרִ֡ים H5892 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 had taken לָֽקְחוּ H3947 of the Philistines פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים H6430 מֵאֵ֨ת H853 between Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 between Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 from Ekron מֵֽעֶקְר֣וֹן H6138 וְעַד H5704 even unto Gath גַּ֔ת H1661 וְאֶ֨ת H853 and the coasts גְּבוּלָ֔ן H1366 deliver הִצִּ֥יל H5337 between Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 out of the hands מִיַּ֣ד H3027 of the Philistines פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים H6430 וַיְהִ֣י H1961 And there was peace שָׁל֔וֹם H7965 בֵּ֥ין H996 between Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 וּבֵ֥ין H996 and the Amorites הָֽאֱמֹרִֽי׃ H567 15 judged וַיִּשְׁפֹּ֤ט H8199 And Samuel שְׁמוּאֵל֙ H8050 אֶת H853 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 כֹּ֖ל H3605 all the days יְמֵ֥י H3117 of his life חַיָּֽיו׃ H2416 16 And he went וְהָלַ֗ךְ H1980 from מִדֵּ֤י H1767 to year בְּשָׁנָ֔ה H8141 to year בְּשָׁנָ֔ה H8141 in circuit וְסָבַב֙ H5437 בֵּֽית H0 to Bethel אֵ֔ל H1008 and Gilgal וְהַגִּלְגָּ֖ל H1537 and Mizpeh וְהַמִּצְפָּ֑ה H4709 and judged וְשָׁפַט֙ H8199 אֶת H853 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 אֵ֥ת H853 כָּל H3605 in all those places הַמְּקוֹמ֖וֹת H4725 הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ H428 17 And his return וּתְשֻֽׁבָת֤וֹ H8666 was to Ramah הָֽרָמָ֙תָה֙ H7414 כִּֽי H3588 שָׁ֣ם H8033 for there was his house בֵּית֔וֹ H1004 וְשָׁ֖ם H8033 and there he judged שָׁפָ֣ט H8199 אֶת H853 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 and there he built וַיִּֽבֶן H1129 שָׁ֥ם H8033 an altar מִזְבֵּ֖חַ H4196 unto the
