exceedingly לְמָֽעְלָה׃ H4605 2 spake וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 Then Solomon שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה H8010 לְכָל H3605 in all Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 to the captains לְשָׂרֵי֩ H8269 of thousands הָֽאֲלָפִ֨ים H505 and of the son בֶן H1121 of Uri אוּרִ֣י H221 the son בֶן H1121 of Hur ח֔וּר H2354 he put שָׂ֕ם H7760 before לִפְנֵ֖י H6440 the tabernacle מִשְׁכַּ֣ן H4908 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 sought וַיִּדְרְשֵׁ֥הוּ H1875 and Solomon שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה H8010 and the congregation וְהַקָּהָֽל׃ H6951 6 and offered וַיַּ֧עַל H5927 And Solomon שְׁלֹמֹ֨ה H8010 שָׁ֜ם H8033 עַל H5921 altar מִזְבַּ֤ח H4196 thither to the brasen הַנְּחֹ֙שֶׁת֙ H5178 before לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 אֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 which was at the tabernacle לְאֹ֣הֶל H168 of the congregation מוֹעֵ֑ד H4150 and offered וַיַּ֧עַל H5927 עָלָ֛יו H5921 burnt offerings עֹל֖וֹת H5930 a thousand אָֽלֶף׃ H505 7 In that night בַּלַּ֣יְלָה H3915 הַה֔וּא H1931 appear נִרְאָ֥ה H7200 did God אֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 unto Solomon לִשְׁלֹמֹ֑ה H8010 and said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 ל֔וֹ H0 unto him Ask שְׁאַ֖ל H7592 מָ֥ה H4100 what I shall give אֶתֶּן H5414 לָֽךְ׃ H0 8 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 And Solomon שְׁלֹמֹה֙ H8010 unto God לֵֽאלֹהִ֔ים H430 אַתָּ֗ה H859 Thou hast shewed עָשִׂ֛יתָ H6213 עִם H5973 unto David דָּוִ֥יד H1732 my father אָבִ֖י H1 mercy חֶ֣סֶד H2617 great גָּד֑וֹל H1419 and hast made me to reign וְהִמְלַכְתַּ֖נִי H4427 תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ H8478 9 עַתָּה֙ H6258 Now H4310 for who can judge יִשְׁפֹּ֔ט H8199 אֶת H853 this people עַמְּךָ֥ H5971 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 that is so great הַגָּדֽוֹל׃ H1419 11 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And God אֱלֹהִ֣ים׀ H430 to Solomon לִשְׁלֹמֹ֡ה H8010 יַ֣עַן H3282 אֲשֶׁר֩ H834 הָֽיְתָ֨ה H1961 זֹ֜את H2063 עִם H5973 Because this was in thine heart לְבָבֶ֗ךָ H3824 וְלֹֽא H3808 and thou hast not asked וַתִּֽשְׁאַל H7592 riches עֹ֣שֶׁר H6239 wealth נְכָסִ֤ים H5233 or honour וְכָבוֹד֙ H3519 וְאֵת֙ H853 nor the life נֶ֣פֶשׁ H5315 of thine enemies שֹֽׂנְאֶ֔יךָ H8130 וְגַם H1571 life יָמִ֥ים H3117 long רַבִּ֖ים H7227 לֹ֣א H3808 and thou hast Solomon שְׁלֹמֹ֜ה H8010 from his journey to the high place לַבָּמָ֤ה H1116 אֲשֶׁר H834 that was at Gibeon בְּגִבְעוֹן֙ H1391 to Jerusalem יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם H3389 from before מִלִּפְנֵ֖י H6440 the tabernacle אֹ֣הֶל H168 of the congregation מוֹעֵ֑ד H4150 and reigned וַיִּמְלֹ֖ךְ H4427 עַל H5921 over Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 14 gathered וַיֶּֽאֱסֹ֣ף H622 And Solomon שְׁלֹמֹה֮ H8010 chariots הָרֶ֔כֶב H7393 and horsemen פָּֽרָשִׁ֑ים H6571 וַֽיְהִי H1961 ל֗וֹ H0 thousand אֶ֖לֶף H505 and four וְאַרְבַּע H702 hundred מֵאוֹת֙ H3967 chariots הָרֶ֔כֶב H7393 and twelve וּשְׁנֵים H8147 עָשָׂ֥ר H6240 thousand אֶ֖לֶף H505 and horsemen פָּֽרָשִׁ֑ים H6571 which he placed וַיַּנִּיחֵם֙ H3240 cities בְּעָרֵ֣י H5892 chariots הָרֶ֔כֶב H7393 וְעִם H5973 and with the king הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 at Jerusalem בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 15 made נָתַ֛ן H5414 And the king הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ H4428 אֶת H853 silver הַכֶּ֧סֶף H3701 וְאֶת H853 and gold הַזָּהָ֛ב H2091 at Jerusalem בִּירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם H3389 as plenteous as stones כָּֽאֲבָנִ֑ים H68 וְאֵ֣ת H853 and cedar trees הָֽאֲרָזִ֗ים H730 made נָתַ֛ן H5414 he as the sycomore trees כַּשִּׁקְמִ֥ים H8256 אֲשֶׁר H834 that are in the vale בַּשְּׁפֵלָ֖ה H8219 for abundance לָרֹֽב׃ H7230 16 brought וּמוֹצָ֧א H4161 had horses הַסּוּסִ֛ים H5483 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 And Solomon לִשְׁלֹמֹ֖ה H8010 out of Egypt מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם H4714 and linen yarn מִקְוֵ֥א H4723 merchants סֹֽחֲרֵ֣י H5503 the king's הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 and linen yarn מִקְוֵ֥א H4723 received יִקְח֖וּ H3947 at a price בִּמְחִֽיר׃ H4242 17 And they fetched up וַֽ֠יַּעֲלוּ H5927 and brought forth יוֹצִֽיאוּ׃ H3318 out of Egypt מִמִּצְרַ֤יִם H4714 a chariot מֶרְכָּבָה֙ H4818 for six בְּשֵׁ֣שׁ H8337 for an hundred וּמֵאָ֑ה H3967 shekels of silver כֶּ֔סֶף H3701 and an horse וְס֖וּס H5483 and fifty בַּֽחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים H2572 for an hundred וּמֵאָ֑ה H3967 וְ֠כֵן H3651 לְכָל H3605 and for the kings וּמַלְכֵ֥י H4428 of the Hittites הַֽחִתִּ֛ים H2850 and for the kings וּמַלְכֵ֥י H4428 of Syria אֲרָ֖ם
