that are no לְלֹ֥א H3808 Have ye not cast out הִדַּחְתֶּם֙ H5080 אֶת H853 the priests כֹהֵ֖ן H3548 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 אֶת H853 himself with a young בֶּן H1121 of Aaron אַֽהֲרֹ֖ן H175 and the Levites וְהַלְוִיִּ֑ם H3881 and have made וַתַּֽעֲשׂ֨וּ H6213 לָכֶ֤ם H0 the priests כֹהֵ֖ן H3548 after the manner of the nations כְּעַמֵּ֣י H5971 of other lands הָֽאֲרָצ֔וֹת H776 כָּל H3605 so that H1961 the priests כֹהֵ֖ן H3548 of them that are no לְלֹ֥א H3808 gods אֱלֹהִֽים׃ H430 10 וַֽאֲנַ֛חְנוּ H587 But as for us the LORD לַֽיהוָה֙ H3068 is our God אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ H430 וְלֹ֣א H3808 and we have not forsaken עֲזַבְנֻ֑הוּ H5800 him and the priests וְכֹ֨הֲנִ֜ים H3548 which minister מְשָֽׁרְתִ֤ים H8334 But as for us the LORD לַֽיהוָה֙ H3068 are the sons בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Aaron אַֽהֲרֹ֔ן H175 and the Levites וְהַלְוִיִּ֖ם H3881 wait upon their business בַּמְלָֽאכֶת׃ H4399 11 And they burn וּמַקְטִרִ֣ים H6999 of the LORD יְהוָ֣ה H3068 burnt sacrifices עֹל֣וֹת H5930 every morning בַּבֹּ֣קֶר H1242 every morning בַּבֹּ֣קֶר H1242 and every evening בָּעֶ֔רֶב H6153 and every evening בָּעֶ֔רֶב H6153 incense וּקְטֹֽרֶת H7004 and sweet סַמִּים֩ H5561 וּמַֽעֲרֶ֨כֶת H4635 the shewbread לֶ֜חֶם H3899 עַל H5921 table הַשֻּׁלְחָ֣ן H7979 also set they in order upon the pure הַטָּה֗וֹר H2889 and the candlestick וּמְנוֹרַ֨ת H4501 of gold הַזָּהָ֤ב H2091 with the lamps וְנֵֽרֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ H5216 thereof behold God אֱלֹהֵֽי H430 and his priests וְכֹֽהֲנָ֛יו H3548 trumpets וַחֲצֹֽצְר֥וֹת H2689 with sounding הַתְּרוּעָ֖ה H8643 to cry alarm לְהָרִ֣יעַ H7321 עֲלֵיכֶ֑ם H5921 against you O children בְּנֵ֣י for ye shall not prosper תַצְלִֽיחוּ׃ H6743 13 But Jeroboam וְיָֽרָבְעָ֗ם H3379 about הֵסֵב֙ H5437 אֶת H853 and the ambushment וְהַמַּאְרָ֖ב H3993 to come לָב֖וֹא H935 behind מֵאַֽחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃ H310 וַיִּֽהְיוּ֙ H1961 them so they were before לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 Judah יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 and the ambushment וְהַמַּאְרָ֖ב H3993 behind מֵאַֽחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃ H310 14 looked back וַיִּפְנ֣וּ H6437 And when Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 וְהִנֵּ֨ה H2009 לָהֶ֤ם H0 behold the battle הַמִּלְחָמָה֙ H4421 was before פָּנִ֣ים H6440 and behind וְאָח֔וֹר H268 and they cried וַֽיִּצְעֲק֖וּ H6817 unto the LORD לַֽיהוָ֑ה H3068 and the priests וְהַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים H3548 sounded מַחְצְצרִ֖ים H2690 with the trumpets בַּחֲצֹֽצְרֽוֹת׃ H2689 15 gave a shout בְּהָרִ֙יעַ֙ H7321 Then the men אִ֣ישׁ H376 and Judah וִֽיהוּדָֽה׃ H3063 H3478 before מִפְּנֵ֣י H6440 Judah יְהוּדָ֑ה H3063 delivered וַיִּתְּנֵ֥ם H5414 and God אֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 them into their hand בְּיָדָֽם׃ H3027 17 slew וַיַּכּ֥וּ H5221 בָהֶ֛ם H0 And Abijah אֲבִיָּ֥ה H29 and his people וְעַמּ֖וֹ H5971 slaughter מַכָּ֣ה H4347 them with a great רַבָּ֑ה H7227 so there fell down וַיִּפְּל֤וּ H5307 slain חֲלָלִים֙ H2491 of Israel מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 five חֲמֵשׁ H2568 hundred מֵא֥וֹת H3967 thousand אֶ֖לֶף H505 men אִ֥ישׁ H376 chosen בָּחֽוּר׃ H977 18 were brought וַיִּכָּֽנְע֥וּ H3665 Thus the children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 under at that time בָּעֵ֣ת H6256 הַהִ֑יא H1931 prevailed וַיֶּֽאֶמְצוּ֙ H553 Thus the children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Judah יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 כִּ֣י H3588 because they relied נִשְׁעֲנ֔וּ H8172 עַל H5921 upon the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 God אֱלֹהֵ֥י H430 of their fathers אֲבֽוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ H1 19 pursued וַיִּרְדֹּ֣ף H7291 And Abijah אֲבִיָּה֮ H29 after אַֽחֲרֵ֣י H310 Jeroboam יָֽרָבְעָם֒ H3379 and took וַיִּלְכֹּ֤ד H3920 מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ H4480 cities עָרִ֔ים H5892 אֶת H853 בֵּֽית H0 from him Bethel אֵל֙ H1008 וְאֶת H853 with the towns וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃ H1323 וְאֶת H853 thereof and Jeshanah יְשָׁנָ֖ה H3466 וְאֶת H853 with the towns וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃ H1323 וְאֶת H853 thereof and Ephrain עֶפְרַ֖וִן H6085 with the towns וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃ H1323 20 וְלֹֽא H3808 recover עָצַ֧ר H6113 strength כֹּֽחַ H3581 Neither did Jeroboam יָרָבְעָ֛ם H3379 ע֖וֹד H5750 again in the days בִּימֵ֣י H3117 of Abijah אֲבִיָּ֑הוּ H29 struck וַיִּגְּפֵ֥הוּ H5062 and the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 him and he died וַיָּמֹֽת׃ H4191 21 waxed mighty וַיִּתְחַזֵּ֣ק H2388 But Abijah אֲבִיָּ֔הוּ H29 and married וַיִּ֨שָּׂא H5375 ל֔וֹ H0 wives נָשִׁ֖ים H802 fourteen אַרְבַּ֣ע H702 עֶשְׂרֵ֑ה H6240 and begat וַיּ֗וֹלֶד H3205 twenty עֶשְׂרִ֤ים H6242 and two
