unto him Hear שְׁמָע֕וּנִי H8085 Asa אָסָ֖א H609 וְכָל H3605 and all Judah יְהוּדָ֣ה H3063 and Benjamin וּבִנְיָמִ֑ן H1144 The LORD יְהוָ֤ה H3068 עִמָּכֶם֙ H5973 בִּֽהְיוֹתְכֶ֣ם H1961 עִמּ֔וֹ H5973 מְהוּמֹ֣ת H4103 but great רַבּ֔וֹת H7227 עַ֥ל H5921 כָּל H3605 were upon all the inhabitants יֹשְׁבֵ֖י H3427 of the countries הָֽאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ H776 6 was destroyed וְכֻתְּת֥וּ H3807 And nation בְּג֖וֹי H1471 And nation בְּג֖וֹי H1471 and city בְּעִ֑יר H5892 and city בְּעִ֑יר H5892 כִּֽי H3588 for God אֱלֹהִ֥ים H430 did vex הֲמָמָ֖ם H2000 בְּכָל H3605 them with all adversity צָרָֽה׃ H6869 7 וְאַתֶּ֣ם H2318 אֶת H853 the altar מִזְבַּ֣ח H4196 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 אֲשֶׁ֕ר H834 that was before לִפְנֵ֖י H6440 the porch אוּלָ֥ם H197 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 9 And he gathered וַיִּקְבֹּ֗ץ H6908 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all Judah יְהוּדָה֙ H3063 and Benjamin וּבִנְיָמִ֔ן H1144 and the strangers וְהַגָּרִים֙ H1481 עִמָּהֶ֔ם H5973 with them out of Ephraim מֵֽאֶפְרַ֥יִם H669 and Manasseh וּמְנַשֶּׁ֖ה H4519 and out of Simeon וּמִשִּׁמְע֑וֹן H8095 כִּֽי H3588 for they fell נָפְל֨וּ H5307 עָלָ֤יו H5921 to him out of Israel מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל֙ H3478 in abundance לָרֹ֔ב H7230 when they saw בִּרְאֹתָ֕ם H7200 כִּֽי H3588 that the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 his God אֱלֹהָ֖יו H430 עִמּֽוֹ׃ H5973 10 So they gathered themselves together וַיִּקָּֽבְצ֥וּ H6908 at Jerusalem יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם H3389 month בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ H2320 in the third הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֑י H7992 year לִשְׁנַ֥ת H8141 in the fifteenth חֲמֵשׁ H2568 עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה H6240 of the reign לְמַלְכ֥וּת H4438 of Asa אָסָֽא׃ H609 11 And they offered וַיִּזְבְּח֤וּ H2076 unto the LORD לַֽיהוָה֙ H3068 the same time בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 הַה֔וּא H1931 מִן H4480 of the spoil הַשָּׁלָ֖ל H7998 which they had brought הֵבִ֑יאוּ H935 oxen בָּקָר֙ H1241 and seven שִׁבְעַ֥ת H7651 hundred מֵא֔וֹת H3967 sheep וְצֹ֖אן H6629 and seven שִׁבְעַ֥ת H7651 thousand אֲלָפִֽים׃ H505 12 And they entered וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ H935 into a covenant בַבְּרִ֔ית H1285 to seek לִדְר֕וֹשׁ H1875 אֶת H853 the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 God אֱלֹהֵ֣י H430 of their fathers אֲבֽוֹתֵיהֶ֑ם H1 בְּכָל H3605 with all their heart לְבָבָ֖ם H3824 וּבְכָל H3605 and with all their soul נַפְשָֽׁם׃ H5315 13 וְכֹ֨ל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֧ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 That whosoever would not seek יִדְרֹ֛שׁ H1875 the LORD לַֽיהוָ֥ה H3068 God אֱלֹהֵֽי H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 should be put to death יוּמָ֑ת H4191 whether לְמִן H4480 small קָטֹן֙ H6996 וְעַד H5704 or great גָּד֔וֹל H1419 whether man לְמֵאִ֖ישׁ H376 וְעַד H5704 or woman אִשָּֽׁה׃ H802 14 And they sware וַיִּשָּֽׁבְעוּ֙ H7650 unto the LORD לַֽיהוָ֔ה H3068 voice בְּק֥וֹל H6963 with a loud גָּד֖וֹל H1419 and with shouting וּבִתְרוּעָ֑ה H8643 and with trumpets וּבַחֲצֹֽצְר֖וֹת H2689 and with cornets וּבְשֽׁוֹפָרֽוֹת׃ H7782 15 rejoiced וַיִּשְׂמְח֨וּ H8055 כָל H3605 And all Judah יְהוּדָ֜ה H3063 עַל H5921 at the oath הַשְּׁבוּעָ֗ה H7621 כִּ֤י H3588 בְכָל H3605 with all their heart לְבָבָם֙ H3824 for they had sworn נִשְׁבָּ֔עוּ H7650 וּבְכָל H3605 him with their whole desire רְצוֹנָ֣ם H7522 and sought בִּקְשֻׁ֔הוּ H1245 and he was found וַיִּמָּצֵ֖א H4672 לָהֶ֑ם H0 gave them rest וַיָּ֧נַח H5117 of them and the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 לָהֶ֖ם H0 round about מִסָּבִֽיב׃ H5439 16 וְגַֽם H1571 And also concerning Maachah מַעֲכָ֞ה H4601 the mother אֵ֣ם׀ H517 and Asa אָסָא֙ H609 the king הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ H4428 he removed הֱסִירָהּ֙ H5493 her from being queen מִגְּבִירָ֔ה H1377 אֲשֶׁר H834 because she had made עָֽשְׂתָ֥ה H6213 in a grove לָאֲשֵׁרָ֖ה H842 an idol מִפְלַצְתָּ֔הּ H4656 cut down וַיִּכְרֹ֤ת H3772 and Asa אָסָא֙ H609 אֶת H853 an idol מִפְלַצְתָּ֔הּ H4656 and stamped וַיָּ֕דֶק H1854 it and burnt וַיִּשְׂרֹ֖ף H8313 it at the brook בְּנַ֥חַל H5158 Kidron קִדְרֽוֹן׃ H6939 17 But the high places וְהַ֨בָּמ֔וֹת H1116 לֹא H3808 were not taken away סָ֖רוּ H5493 out of Israel מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 רַ֧ק H7535 nevertheless the heart לְבַב H3824 of Asa אָסָ֛א H609 הָיָ֥ה H1961 was perfect שָׁלֵ֖ם H8003 כָּל H3605 all his days יָמָֽיו׃ H3117 18 And he brought וַיָּבֵ֞א H935 אֶת H853 and that he himself had dedicated וְקָֽדָשָׁ֖יו H6944 the things that his father אָבִ֛יו H1 and that he himself had dedicated וְקָֽדָשָׁ֖יו H6944 into the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 of God הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים H430 silver כֶּ֥סֶף H3701 and gold וְזָהָ֖ב H2091 and vessels וְכֵלִֽים׃ H3627 19 And there was no more war וּמִלְחָמָ֖ה H4421 לֹ֣א H3808 הָיָ֑תָה H1961 עַ֛ד H5704 year שְׁנַת H8141
