the hand בְּיַ֥ד H3027 of the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 12 And the messenger וְהַמַּלְאָ֞ךְ H4397 אֲשֶׁר H834 that went הָלַ֣ךְ׀ H1980 to call לִקְרֹ֣א H7121 Micaiah לְמִיכָ֗יְהוּ H4321 of theirs and speak וְדִבַּ֥רְתָּ H1696 אֵלָיו֙ H413 to him saying לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 הִנֵּ֞ה H2009 Behold the words דְבָֽרְךָ֛ H1697 of the prophets הַנְּבִאִ֛ים H5030 assent פֶּֽה H6310 therefore I pray thee be like one כְּאַחַ֥ד H259 declare good טּֽוֹב׃ H2896 אֶל H413 to the king הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ H4428 וִֽיהִי H1961 נָ֧א H4994 Behold the words דְבָֽרְךָ֛ H1697 therefore I pray thee be like one כְּאַחַ֥ד H259 מֵהֶ֖ם the king הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ H4428 אֵלָ֗יו H413 unto him Micaiah מִיכָה֙ H4318 הֲנֵלֵ֞ךְ H1980 אֶל H413 to Ramothgilead רָמֹ֥ת H7433 גִּלְעָ֛ד H1568 to battle לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה H4421 אִם H518 or shall I forbear אֶחְדָּ֑ל H2308 And he said וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 Go ye up עֲל֣וּ H5927 and prosper וְהַצְלִ֔יחוּ H6743 and they shall be delivered וְיִנָּֽתְנ֖וּ H5414 into your hand בְּיֶדְכֶֽם׃ H3027 15 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 אֵלָיו֙ H413 And the king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 עַד H5704 כַּמֶּ֥ה H4100 to him How many times פְעָמִ֖ים H6471 אֲנִ֣י H589 shall I adjure מַשְׁבִּיעֶ֑ךָ H7650 אֲ֠שֶׁר H834 לֹֽא H3808 thee that thou say תְדַבֵּ֥ר H1696 אֵלַ֛י H413 רַק H7535 nothing but the truth אֱמֶ֖ת H571 to me in the name בְּשֵׁ֥ם H8034 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 16 Then he said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 I did see רָאִ֤יתִי H7200 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ H3478 scattered נְפוֹצִ֣ים H6327 עַל H5921 upon the mountains הֶֽהָרִ֔ים H2022 as sheep כַּצֹּ֕אן H6629 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 אֵין H369 לָהֶ֖ן H0 that have no shepherd רֹעֶ֑ה H7462 Then he said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 and the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 לֹֽא H3808 These have no master אֲדֹנִ֣ים H113 לָאֵ֔לֶּה H428 let them return יָשׁ֥וּבוּ H7725 therefore every man אִישׁ H376 to said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 לָכֵ֖ן H3651 Therefore hear שִׁמְע֣וּ H8085 the word דְבַר H1697 of the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 I saw רָאִ֤יתִי H7200 אֶת H853 of the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 sitting יוֹשֵׁ֣ב H3427 עַל H5921 upon his throne כִּסְא֔וֹ H3678 וְכָל H3605 and all the host צְבָ֤א H6635 of heaven הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ H8064 standing עֹֽמְדִ֔ים H5975 עַל H5921 on his right hand יְמִינ֖וֹ H3225 and on his left וּשְׂמֹאלֽוֹ׃ H8040 19 And one spake אֹמֵ֥ר H559 And the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 מִ֤י H4310 Who shall entice יְפַתֶּה֙ H6601 אֶת H853 Ahab אַחְאָ֣ב H256 king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 that he may go up וְיַ֕עַל H5927 and fall וְיִפֹּ֖ל H5307 at Ramothgilead בְּרָמ֣וֹת H7433 גִּלְעָ֑ד H1568 And one spake אֹמֵ֥ר H559 זֶ֚ה H2088 And one spake אֹמֵ֥ר H559 after that manner כָּֽכָה׃ H3602 וְזֶ֖ה H2088 And one spake אֹמֵ֥ר H559 after that manner כָּֽכָה׃ H3602 20 Then there came out וַיֵּצֵ֣א H3318 a spirit הָר֗וּחַ H7307 and stood וַֽיַּעֲמֹד֙ H5975 before לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 him And the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 and said וַיֹּ֧אמֶר H559 אֲנִ֣י H589 I will entice אֲפַתֶּ֑נּוּ H6601 and said וַיֹּ֧אמֶר H559 him And the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 אֵלָ֖יו H413 בַּמָּֽה׃ H4100 21 And he said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 I will go out צֵ֖א H3318 וְהָיִ֙יתִי֙ H1961 spirit לְר֣וּחַ H7307 and be a lying שֶׁ֔קֶר H8267 in the mouth בְּפִ֖י H6310 כָּל H3605 of all his prophets נְבִיאָ֑יו H5030 And he said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 Thou shalt entice תְּפַתֶּה֙ H6601 וְגַם H1571 him and thou shalt also prevail תּוּכָ֔ל H3201 I will go out צֵ֖א H3318 and do וַֽעֲשֵׂה H6213 כֵֽן׃ H3651 22 וְעַתָּ֗ה H6258 הִנֵּ֨ה H2009 hath put נָתַ֤ן H5414 Now therefore behold the LORD וַֽיהוָ֔ה H3068 spirit ר֣וּחַ H7307 a lying שֶׁ֔קֶר H8267 in the mouth בְּפִ֖י H6310 of these thy prophets נְבִיאֶ֣יךָ H5030 אֵ֑לֶּה H428 Now therefore behold the LORD וַֽיהוָ֔ה H3068 hath spoken דִּבֶּ֥ר H1696 עָלֶ֖יךָ H5921 evil רָעָֽה׃ H7451 23 came near וַיִּגַּשׁ֙ H5066 Then Zedekiah צִדְקִיָּ֣הוּ H6667 the son בֶֽן H1121 of Chenaanah כְּנַעֲנָ֔ה H3668 and smote וַיַּ֥ךְ H5221 אֶת H853 Micaiah מִיכָ֖יְהוּ H4321 עַל H5921 upon the cheek הַלֶּ֑חִי H3895 and said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 Which אֵ֣י H335 זֶ֤ה H2088 way הַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ H1870 went עָבַ֧ר H5674 the Spirit רֽוּחַ H7307 of the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 מֵֽאִתִּ֖י H853 from me to speak לְדַבֵּ֥ר H1696 אֹתָֽךְ׃ H854 24 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And Micaiah מִיכָ֔יְהוּ H4321 הִנְּךָ֥ H2005 Behold thou shalt see רֹאֶ֖ה H7200 on that day בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 הַה֑וּא H1931 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 when thou shalt go תָּב֛וֹא H935 chamber בְּחֶ֖דֶר H2315 chamber בְּחֶ֖דֶר H2315 to hide לְהֵֽחָבֵֽא׃ H2244 25 said וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 Then the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 Take קְחוּ֙ H3947 אֶת H853 ye Micaiah מִיכָ֔יְהוּ H4321 and carry him back וַֽהֲשִׁיבֻ֖הוּ H7725 אֶל H413 to Amon אָמ֣וֹן H526 the governor שַׂר H8269 of the city הָעִ֑יר H5892 וְאֶל H413 and to Joash יוֹאָ֖שׁ H3101 son בֶּן H1121 Then the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 26 And say אָמַ֣ר H559 כֹּ֚ה H3541 And say אָמַ֣ר H559 the king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 Put שִׂ֥ימוּ H7760 זֶ֖ה H2088 this fellow in the prison בֵּ֣ית H1004 הַכֶּ֑לֶא H3608 and feed וְהַֽאֲכִלֻ֜הוּ H398 him with bread לֶ֤חֶם H3899 of affliction לַ֔חַץ H3906 and with water וּמַ֣יִם H4325 of affliction לַ֔חַץ H3906 עַ֖ד H5704 until I return שׁוּבִ֥י H7725 in peace בְשָׁלֽוֹם׃ H7965 27 by me And he said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 And Micaiah מִיכָ֔יְהוּ H4321 אִם H518 If thou certainly תָּשׁוּב֙ H7725 If thou certainly תָּשׁוּב֙ H7725 in peace בְּשָׁל֔וֹם H7965 לֹֽא H3808 spoken דִבֶּ֥ר H1696 then hath not the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 בִּ֑י H0 by me And he said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 Hearken שִׁמְע֖וּ H8085 all ye people עַמִּ֥ים H5971 כֻּלָּֽם׃ H3605 28 went up וַיַּ֧עַל H5927 So the king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל H3478 and Jehoshaphat וִיהֽוֹשָׁפָ֥ט H3092 So the king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Judah יְהוּדָ֖ה H3063 אֶל H413 to Ramothgilead רָמֹ֥ת H7433 גִּלְעָֽד׃ H1568 29 said וַיֹּאמֶר֩ H559 And the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 אֶל H413 unto Jehoshaphat יְהֽוֹשָׁפָ֗ט H3092 I will disguise וַיִּתְחַפֵּשׂ֙ H2664 himself and they went וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ H935 to the battle בַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ H4421 וְאַתָּ֖ה H859 but put לְבַ֣שׁ H3847 thou on thy robes בְּגָדֶ֑יךָ H899 I will disguise וַיִּתְחַפֵּשׂ֙ H2664 And the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 himself and they went וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ H935 to the battle בַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ H4421 30 Now the king מֶ֥לֶךְ H4428 of Syria אֲרָ֡ם H758 had commanded צִוָּה֩ H6680 אֶת H853 the captains שָׂרֵ֨י H8269 of the chariots הָרֶ֤כֶב H7393 אֲשֶׁר H834 לוֹ֙ H0 that were with him saying לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 לֹ֚א H3808 Fight תִּלָּ֣חֲמ֔וּ H3898 אֶת H854 ye not with small הַקָּטֹ֖ן H6996 אֶת H854 or great הַגָּד֑וֹל H1419 כִּ֛י H3588 אִֽם H518 אֶת H854 Now the king מֶ֥לֶךְ H4428 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 לְבַדּֽוֹ׃ H905 31 וַיְהִ֡י H1961 saw כִּרְאוֹת֩ H7200 And it came to pass when the captains שָׂרֵ֨י H8269 of the chariots הָרֶ֜כֶב H7393 אֶת H853 Jehoshaphat יְהֽוֹשָׁפָט֙ H3092 וְהֵ֤מָּה H1992 that they said אָֽמְרוּ֙ H559 It is the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל H3478 ה֔וּא H1931 Therefore they compassed about וַיָּסֹ֥בּוּ H5437 עָלָ֖יו H5921 him to fight לְהִלָּחֵ֑ם H3898 cried out וַיִּזְעַ֤ק H2199 Jehoshaphat יְהֽוֹשָׁפָט֙ H3092 and the LORD וַֽיהוָ֣ה H3068 helped עֲזָר֔וֹ H5826 moved וַיְסִיתֵ֥ם H5496 him and God אֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ H4480 32 וַיְהִ֗י H1961 perceived כִּרְאוֹת֙ H7200 For it came to pass that when the captains שָׂרֵ֣י H8269 of the chariots הָרֶ֔כֶב H7393 כִּ֥י H3588 לֹֽא H3808 הָיָ֖ה H1961 that it was not the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 they turned back again וַיָּשׁ֖וּבוּ H7725 from pursuing מֵאַֽחֲרָֽיו׃ H310 33 man וְאִ֗ישׁ H376 And a certain man drew מָשַׁ֤ךְ H4900 a bow בַּקֶּ֙שֶׁת֙ H7198 at a venture לְתֻמּ֔וֹ H8537 and smote וַיַּךְ֙ H5221 אֶת H853 the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 בֵּ֥ין H996 between the joints הַדְּבָקִ֖ים H1694 וּבֵ֣ין H996 of the harness הַשִּׁרְיָ֑ן H8302 therefore he said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 to his chariot לָֽרַכָּ֗ב H7395 Turn הֲפֹ֧ךְ H2015 thine hand יָדְיךָ֛ H3027 that thou mayest carry me out וְהֽוֹצֵאתַ֥נִי H3318 מִן H4480 of the host הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה H4264 כִּ֥י
