minister וְהַמְשָֽׁרְתִ֣ים H8334 of the Levites לַלְוִיִּ֔ם H3881 הֵ֥מָּה H1992 But let none come יָבֹ֖אוּ H935 כִּי H3588 for they are holy קֹ֣דֶשׁ H6944 הֵ֑מָּה H1992 וְכָל H3605 but all the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 shall keep יִשְׁמְר֖וּ H8104 the watch מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת H4931 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 7 shall compass וְהִקִּיפוּ֩ H5362 And the Levites הַלְוִיִּ֨ם H3881 אֶת H853 but be ye with the king הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 round about סָבִ֗יב H5439 every man אִ֚ישׁ H376 with his weapons וְכֵלָ֣יו H3627 in his hand בְּיָד֔וֹ H3027 and whosoever else cometh בְּבֹא֥וֹ H935 אֶל H413 into the house הַבַּ֖יִת H1004 he shall be put to death יוּמָ֑ת H4191 וִֽהְי֥וּ H1961 אֶת H854 but be ye with the king הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 and whosoever else cometh בְּבֹא֥וֹ H935 and when he goeth out וּבְצֵאתֽוֹ׃ H3318 8 did וַיַּֽעֲשׂ֨וּ H6213 So the Levites הַלְוִיִּ֜ם H3881 וְכָל H3605 and all Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 כְּכֹ֣ל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 had commanded צִוָּה֮ H6680 according to all things that Jehoiada יְהֽוֹיָדָ֥ע H3077 the priest הַכֹּהֵ֖ן H3548 and took וַיִּקְחוּ֙ H3947 every man אֲנָשָׁ֔יו H376 אֶת H853 every man אֲנָשָׁ֔יו H376 that were to come in בָּאֵ֣י H935 on the sabbath הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת H7676 עִ֖ם H5973 H853 not the courses הַֽמַּחְלְקֽוֹת׃ H4256 9 delivered וַיִּתֵּן֩ H5414 Moreover Jehoiada יְהֽוֹיָדָ֨ע H3077 the priest הַכֹּהֵ֜ן H3548 to the captains לְשָׂרֵ֣י H8269 of hundreds הַמֵּא֗וֹת H3967 אֶת H853 spears הַֽחֲנִיתִים֙ H2595 וְאֶת H853 and bucklers הַמָּֽגִנּוֹת֙ H4043 וְאֶת H853 and shields הַשְּׁלָטִ֔ים H7982 אֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 that had been king לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ H4428 David's דָּוִ֑יד H1732 אֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 which were in the house בֵּ֥ית H1004 of God הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃ H430 10 And he set וַיַּֽעֲמֵ֨ד H5975 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all the people הָעָ֜ם H5971 every man וְאִ֣ישׁ׀ H376 having his weapon שִׁלְח֣וֹ H7973 in his hand בְיָד֗וֹ H3027 side כֶּ֤תֶף H3802 and the temple וְלַבָּ֑יִת H1004 from the right הַיְמָנִית֙ H3233 עַד H5704 side כֶּ֤תֶף H3802 and the temple וְלַבָּ֑יִת H1004 to the left הַשְּׂמָאלִ֔ית H8042 along by the altar לַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ H4196 and the temple וְלַבָּ֑יִת H1004 עַל H5921 by the king הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 round about סָבִֽיב׃ H5439 11 Then they brought out וַיּוֹצִ֣יאוּ H3318 אֶת H853 and his sons וּבָנָ֔יו H1121 the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 and put וַיִּתְּנ֤וּ H5414 עָלָיו֙ H5921 אֶת H853 upon him the crown הַנֵּ֙זֶר֙ H5145 וְאֶת H853 and gave him the testimony הָ֣עֵד֔וּת H5715 and made him king וַיַּמְלִ֖יכוּ H4427 אֹת֑וֹ H853 anointed וַיִּמְשָׁחֻ֙הוּ֙ H4886 And Jehoiada יְהֽוֹיָדָ֣ע H3077 and his sons וּבָנָ֔יו H1121 him and said וַיֹּֽאמְר֖וּ H559 God save יְחִ֥י H2421 the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 12 heard וַתִּשְׁמַ֣ע H8085 Now when Athaliah עֲתַלְיָ֗הוּ H6271 אֶת H853 the noise ק֤וֹל H6963 of the people הָעָ֖ם H5971 running הָֽרָצִ֔ים H7323 and praising וְהַֽמְהַלְלִ֖ים H1984 אֶת H853 the king הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ H4428 she came וַתָּב֥וֹא H935 אֶל H413 of the people הָעָ֖ם H5971 into the house בֵּ֥ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 13 And she looked וַתֵּ֡רֶא H7200 וְהִנֵּ֣ה H2009 and behold the king הַמֶּלֶךְ֒ H4428 stood עוֹמֵ֨ד H5975 עַֽל H5921 at his pillar עַמּוּד֜וֹ H5982 at the entering in בַּמָּב֗וֹא H3996 and the princes וְהַשָּׂרִ֣ים H8269 and the trumpets בַּחֲצֹ֣צְר֔וֹת H2689 עַל H5921 and behold the king הַמֶּלֶךְ֒ H4428 וְכָל H3605 and all the people עַ֨ם H5971 of the land הָאָ֜רֶץ H776 rejoiced שָׂמֵ֗חַ H8056 and sounded וְתוֹקֵ֙עַ֙ H8628 and the trumpets בַּחֲצֹ֣צְר֔וֹת H2689 also the singers וְהַמְשֽׁוֹרֲרִים֙ H7891 with instruments בִּכְלֵ֣י H3627 of musick הַשִּׁ֔יר H7892 and such as taught וּמֽוֹדִיעִ֖ים H3045 to sing praise לְהַלֵּ֑ל H1984 rent וַתִּקְרַ֤ע H7167 Then Athaliah עֲתַלְיָ֙הוּ֙ H6271 אֶת H853 her clothes בְּגָדֶ֔יהָ H899 and said וַתֹּ֖אמֶר H559 Treason קָֽשֶׁר׃ H7195 Treason קָֽשֶׁר׃ H7195 14 brought out הֽוֹצִיא֙וּהָ֙ H3318 Then Jehoiada יְהֽוֹיָדָ֨ע H3077 For the priest הַכֹּהֵ֔ן H3548 אֶת H853 the captains שָׂרֵ֥י H8269 of hundreds הַמֵּא֣וֹת׀ H3967 that were set over פְּקוּדֵ֣י H6485 the host הַחַ֗יִל H2428 and said אָמַ֣ר H559 אֲלֵהֶם֙ H413 brought out הֽוֹצִיא֙וּהָ֙ H3318 אֶל H413 her not in the house בֵּ֥ית H1004 הַשְּׂדֵר֔וֹת H7713 and whoso followeth וְהַבָּ֥א H935 אַֽחֲרֶ֖יהָ H310 Slay תְמִית֖וּהָ H4191 with the sword בֶּחָ֑רֶב H2719 כִּ֚י H3588 and said אָמַ֣ר H559 For the priest הַכֹּהֵ֔ן H3548 לֹ֥א H3808 Slay תְמִית֖וּהָ H4191 her not in the house בֵּ֥ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 15 So they laid וַיָּשִׂ֤ימוּ H7760 לָהּ֙ H0 hands יָדַ֔יִם H3027 on her and when she was come וַתָּב֛וֹא H935 אֶל H413 to the entering מְב֥וֹא H3996 gate שַֽׁעַר H8179 of the horse הַסּוּסִ֖ים H5483 house בֵּ֣ית H1004 by the king's הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ H4428 they slew וַיְמִית֖וּהָ H4191 שָֽׁם׃ H8033 16 made וַיִּכְרֹ֤ת H3772 And Jehoiada יְהֽוֹיָדָע֙ H3077 a covenant בְּרִ֔ית H1285 בֵּינ֕וֹ H996 וּבֵ֥ין H996 כָּל H3605 between him and between all the people לְעָ֖ם H5971 וּבֵ֣ין H996 and between the king הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ H4428 לִֽהְי֥וֹת H1961 between him and between all the people לְעָ֖ם H5971 that they should be the LORD'S לַֽיהוָֽה׃ H3068 17 went וַיָּבֹ֨אוּ H935 כָל H3605 Then all the people הָעָ֤ם H5971 to the house בֵּית H1004 of Baal הַבַּ֔עַל H1168 and brake it down וַֽיִּתְּצֻ֔הוּ H5422 וְאֶת H853 his altars הַֽמִּזְבְּחֽוֹת׃ H4196 וְאֶת H853 and his images צְלָמָ֖יו H6754 and brake שִׁבֵּ֑רוּ H7665 וְאֵ֗ת H853 Mattan מַתָּן֙ H4977 the priest כֹּהֵ֣ן H3548 of Baal הַבַּ֔עַל H1168 and slew הָֽרְג֖וּ H2026 before לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 his altars הַֽמִּזְבְּחֽוֹת׃ H4196 18 appointed וַיָּשֶׂם֩ H7760 Also Jehoiada יְהֽוֹיָדָ֨ע H3077 the offices פְּקֻדּ֜וֹת H6486 in the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 as it was ordained by יְדֵ֥י H3027 of the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֣ים H3548 the Levites הַלְוִיִּם֮ H3881 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 had distributed חָלַ֣ק H2505 David דָוִֽיד׃ H1732 עַל H5921 in the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 to offer לְֽהַעֲל֞וֹת H5927 the burnt offerings עֹל֣וֹת H5930 of the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 as it is written כַּכָּת֛וּב H3789 in the law בְּתוֹרַ֥ת H8451 of Moses מֹשֶׁ֖ה H4872 with rejoicing בְּשִׂמְחָ֣ה H8057 and with singing וּבְשִׁ֑יר H7892 עַ֖ל H5921 as it was ordained by יְדֵ֥י H3027 David דָוִֽיד׃ H1732 19 And he set וַֽיַּעֲמֵד֙ H5975 the porters הַשּׁ֣וֹעֲרִ֔ים H7778 עַֽל H5921 at the gates שַׁעֲרֵ֖י H8179 of the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 וְלֹֽא H3808 should enter in יָב֥וֹא H935 that none which was unclean טָמֵ֖א H2931 לְכָל H3605 in any thing דָּבָֽר׃ H1697 20 And he took וַיִּקַּ֣ח H3947 אֶת H853 the captains שָׂרֵ֣י H8269 of hundreds הַמֵּא֡וֹת H3967 וְאֶת H853 and the nobles הָֽאַדִּירִים֩ H117 וְאֶת H853 and the governors הַמּֽוֹשְׁלִ֨ים H4910 and all the people עַ֣ם H5971 וְאֵ֣ת׀ H853 כָּל H3605 and all the people עַ֣ם H5971 of the land הָאָ֗רֶץ H776 and brought down וַיּ֤וֹרֶד H3381 אֶת H853 into the king's הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 from the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 and they came וַיָּבֹ֛אוּ H935 through בְּתֽוֹךְ H8432 gate שַׁ֥עַר H8179 the high הָֽעֶלְי֖וֹן H5945 from the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 into the king's הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 and set וַיּוֹשִׁ֙יבוּ֙ H3427 אֶת H853 into the king's הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 עַ֖ל H5921 upon the throne כִּסֵּ֥א H3678 of the kingdom הַמַּמְלָכָֽה׃ H4467 21 rejoiced וַיִּשְׂמְח֥וּ H8055 כָל H3605 And all the people עַם H5971 of the land הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 and the city וְהָעִ֣יר H5892 was quiet שָׁקָ֑טָה
