H3588 cattle מִקְנֶה H4735 for he had much רַּב֙ H7227 הָ֣יָה H1961 ל֔וֹ H0 both in the low country וּבַשְּׁפֵלָ֖ה H8219 and in the plains וּבַמִּישׁ֑וֹר H4334 husbandmen אִכָּרִ֣ים H406 also and vine Uzziah לְעֻזִּיָּ֡הוּ H5818 had an host חַיִל֩ H2428 men עֹשֵׂ֨ה H6213 of fighting מִלְחָמָ֜ה H4421 that went out יֽוֹצְאֵ֧י H3318 to war צָבָ֣א H6635 by bands לִגְד֗וּד H1416 according to the number בְּמִסְפַּר֙ H4557 of their account פְּקֻדָּתָ֔ם H6486 by the hand יַד H3027 of Jeiel יְעִואֵ֣ל H3273 the scribe הַסּוֹפֵ֔ר H5608 and Maaseiah וּמַֽעֲשֵׂיָ֖הוּ H4641 the ruler הַשּׁוֹטֵ֑ר H7860 עַ֚ל H5921 by the hand יַד H3027 of Hananiah חֲנַנְיָ֔הוּ H2608 captains מִשָּׂרֵ֖י H8269 one of the king's הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 12 כֹּ֠ל H3605 The whole number מִסְפַּ֞ר H4557 of the chief רָאשֵׁ֤י H7218 of hundred מֵא֔וֹת H3967 that made עוֹשֵׂ֥י H6213 war מִלְחָמָ֖ה H4421 power בְּכֹ֣חַ H3581 was an army חָ֑יִל H2428 to help לַעְזֹ֥ר H5826 the king לַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 עַל H5921 against the enemy הָֽאוֹיֵֽב׃ H341 14 prepared וַיָּכֶן֩ H3559 לָהֶ֨ם H1992 And Uzziah עֻזִּיָּ֜הוּ H5818 לְכָל H3605 for them throughout all the host הַצָּבָ֗א H6635 shields מָֽגִנִּ֤ים H4043 and spears וּרְמָחִים֙ H7420 and helmets וְכ֣וֹבָעִ֔ים H3553 and habergeons וְשִׁרְיֹנ֖וֹת H8302 and bows וּקְשָׁת֑וֹת H7198 to cast stones וּלְאַבְנֵ֖י H68 and slings קְלָעִֽים׃ H7050 15 And he made וַיַּ֣עַשׂ׀ H6213 in Jerusalem בִּירֽוּשָׁלִַ֨ם H3389 engines חִשְּׁבֹנ֜וֹת H2810 invented מַֽחֲשֶׁ֣בֶת H4284 by cunning men חוֹשֵׁ֗ב H2803 לִֽהְי֤וֹת H1961 עַל H5921 to be on the towers הַמִּגְדָּלִים֙ H4026 וְעַל H5921 and upon the bulwarks הַפִּנּ֔וֹת H6438 to shoot לִירוֹא֙ H3384 arrows בַּֽחִצִּ֔ים H2671 stones וּבָֽאֲבָנִ֖ים H68 and great גְּדֹל֑וֹת H1419 spread וַיֵּצֵ֤א H3318 withal And his name שְׁמוֹ֙ H8034 עַד H5704 far abroad לְמֵ֣רָח֔וֹק H7350 till כִּֽי H3588 for he was marvellously הִפְלִ֥יא H6381 helped לְהֵֽעָזֵ֖ר H5826 עַ֥ד H5704 till כִּֽי H3588 he was strong חָזָֽק׃ H2388 16 But when he was strong וּכְחֶזְקָת֗וֹ H2393 was lifted up גָּבַ֤הּ H1361 his heart לִבּוֹ֙ H3820 עַד H5704 to his destruction לְהַשְׁחִ֔ית H7843 for he transgressed וַיִּמְעַ֖ל H4603 against the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 incense הַקְּטֹֽרֶת׃ H7004 17 went in וַיָּבֹ֥א H935 after אַֽחֲרָ֖יו H310 And Azariah עֲזַרְיָ֣הוּ H5838 priests כֹּֽהֲנִ֧ים׀ H3548 וְעִמּ֞וֹ H5973 priests כֹּֽהֲנִ֧ים׀ H3548 of the LORD לַֽיהוָ֛ה H3068 him and with him fourscore שְׁמוֹנִ֖ים H8084 men בְּנֵי H1121 that were valiant חָֽיִל׃ H2428 18 And they withstood וַיַּֽעַמְד֞וּ H5975 עַל H5921 Uzziah עֻזִּיָּ֗הוּ H5818 the king הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ H4428 and said וַיֹּ֤אמְרוּ H559 לוֹ֙ H0 לֹֽא H3808 לְךָ֣ H0 Uzziah עֻזִּיָּ֗הוּ H5818 to burn incense לְהַקְטִ֑יר H6999 from the LORD מֵֽיְהוָ֥ה H3068 כִּ֣י H3588 but to the priests לַכֹּֽהֲנִ֧ים H3548 the sons בְּנֵֽי H1121 of Aaron אַהֲרֹ֛ן H175 that are consecrated הַמְקֻדָּשִׁ֖ים H6942 to burn incense לְהַקְטִ֑יר H6999 go out צֵ֤א H3318 מִן H4480 of the sanctuary הַמִּקְדָּשׁ֙ H4720 כִּ֣י H3588 for thou hast trespassed מָעַ֔לְתָּ H4603 וְלֹֽא H3808 לְךָ֥ H0 neither shall it be for thine honour לְכָב֖וֹד H3519 from the LORD מֵֽיְהוָ֥ה H3068 God אֱלֹהִֽים׃ H430 19 and while he was wroth וּבְזַעְפּ֣וֹ H2196 Then Uzziah עֻזִּיָּ֔הוּ H5818 in his hand וּבְיָד֥וֹ H3027 and had a censer מִקְטֶ֖רֶת H4730 to burn incense לְהַקְטִ֑יר H6999 and while he was wroth וּבְזַעְפּ֣וֹ H2196 עִם H5973 the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ H3548 the leprosy וְ֠הַצָּרַעַת H6883 even rose up זָֽרְחָ֨ה H2224 in his forehead בְמִצְח֜וֹ H4696 before לִפְנֵ֤י H6440 the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ H3548 in the house בְּבֵ֣ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 מֵעַ֖ל H5921 altar לְמִזְבַּ֥ח H4196 from beside the incense הַקְּטֹֽרֶת׃ H7004 20 looked וַיִּ֣פֶן H6437 אֵלָ֡יו H413 And Azariah עֲזַרְיָהוּ֩ H5838 and all the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֗ים H3548 the chief הָרֹ֜אשׁ H7218 וְכָל H3605 and all the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֗ים H3548 וְהִנֵּה H2009 ה֤וּא H1931 upon him and behold he was leprous מְצֹרָע֙ H6879 in his forehead בְּמִצְח֔וֹ H4696 and they thrust him out וַיַּבְהִל֖וּהוּ H926 מִשָּׁ֑ם H8033 וְגַם H1571 הוּא֙ H1931 from thence yea himself hasted נִדְחַ֣ף H1765 also to go out לָצֵ֔את H3318 כִּ֥י H3588 had smitten נִגְּע֖וֹ H5060 because the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 21 וַיְהִי֩ H1961 And Uzziah עֻזִּיָּ֨הוּ H5818 the king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 being a leper מְצֹרָ֔ע H6879 עַד H5704 unto the day י֣וֹם H3117 of his death מוֹת֗וֹ H4194 and dwelt in וַיֵּ֜שֶׁב H3427 from the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 a several הַֽחָפְשִׁות֙ H2669 being a leper מְצֹרָ֔ע H6879 כִּ֥י H3588 for he was cut off נִגְזַ֖ר H1504 from the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 and Jotham וְיוֹתָ֤ם H3147 his son בְּנוֹ֙ H1121 עַל H5921 from the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 the king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 judging שׁוֹפֵ֖ט H8199 אֶת H853 the people עַ֥ם H5971 of the land הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 22 Now the rest וְיֶ֙תֶר֙ H3499 of the acts דִּבְרֵ֣י H1697 of Uzziah עֻזִּיָּ֔הוּ H5818 first הָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֖ים H7223 and last וְהָאַחֲרֹנִ֑ים H314 write כָּתַ֛ב
