came הַמּוּבָ֣א H935 אֶל H413 to Hilkiah חִלְקִיָּ֣הוּ׀ H2518 priest הַכֹּהֵ֣ן H3548 the high הַגָּד֗וֹל H1419 they delivered וַֽיִּתְּנוּ֮ H5414 אֶת H853 the money הַכֶּסֶף֮ H3701 And when they came הַמּוּבָ֣א H935 into the house בֵית H1004 of God אֱלֹהִים֒ H430 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 had gathered אָסְפֽוּ H622 which the Levites הַלְוִיִּם֩ H3881 that kept שֹֽׁמְרֵ֨י H8104 the doors הַסַּ֜ף H5592 of the H6213 הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה H4399 that had the oversight הַמֻּפְקָדִ֖ים H6485 in the house הַבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 And they put וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ H5414 אֹת֜וֹ H853 it to the workmen עֹשִׂים֙ H6213 הַמְּלָאכָ֗ה H4399 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 it to the workmen עֹשִׂים֙ H6213 in the house הַבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 to repair לִבְדּ֥וֹק H918 and amend וּלְחַזֵּ֖ק H2388 in the house הַבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 11 gave וַֽיִּתְּנ֗וּ H5414 Even to the artificers לֶחָֽרָשִׁים֙ H2796 and builders וְלַבֹּנִ֔ים H1129 they it to buy לִקְנוֹת֙ H7069 stone אַבְנֵ֣י H68 hewn מַחְצֵ֔ב H4274 and timber וְעֵצִ֖ים H6086 for couplings לַֽמְחַבְּר֑וֹת H4226 and to floor וּלְקָרוֹת֙ H7136 אֶת H853 the houses הַבָּ֣תִּ֔ים H1004 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 had destroyed הִשְׁחִ֖יתוּ H7843 which the kings מַלְכֵ֥י H4428 of Judah יְהוּדָֽה׃ H3063 12 And the men וְהָֽאֲנָשִׁים֩ H582 did עֹשִׂ֨ים H6213 faithfully בֶּֽאֱמוּנָ֜ה H530 the work בַּמְּלָאכָ֗ה H4399 וַֽעֲלֵיהֶ֣ם׀ H5921 to set it forward מֻ֠פְקָדִים H6485 of them were Jahath יַ֣חַת H3189 and Obadiah וְעֹֽבַדְיָ֤הוּ H5662 and other of the Levites וְהַ֨לְוִיִּ֔ם H3881 מִן H4480 of the sons בְּנֵ֥י H1121 of Merari מְרָרִ֔י H4847 and Zechariah וּזְכַרְיָ֧ה H2148 and Meshullam וּמְשֻׁלָּ֛ם H4918 מִן H4480 of the sons בְּנֵ֥י H1121 of the sons of the Kohathites הַקְּהָתִ֖ים H6956 and the overseers לְנַצֵּ֑חַ H5329 and other of the Levites וְהַ֨לְוִיִּ֔ם H3881 כָּל H3605 all that could skill מֵבִ֖ין H995 of instruments בִּכְלֵי H3627 of musick שִֽׁיר׃ H7892 13 וְעַ֣ל H5921 Also they were over the bearers of burdens הַסַּבָּלִ֗ים H5449 and were overseers וּֽמְנַצְּחִים֙ H5329 לְכֹל֙ H3605 of all that wrought עֹשֵׂ֣ה H6213 the work מְלָאכָ֔ה H4399 in any manner of service וַֽעֲבוֹדָ֑ה H5656 in any manner of service וַֽעֲבוֹדָ֑ה H5656 and of the Levites וּמֵֽהַלְוִיִּ֔ם H3881 there were scribes סֽוֹפְרִ֥ים H5608 and officers וְשֹֽׁטְרִ֖ים H7860 and porters וְשֽׁוֹעֲרִֽים׃ H7778 14 And when they brought out וּבְהֽוֹצִיאָ֣ם H3318 אֶת H853 the money הַכֶּ֔סֶף H3701 that was brought into הַמּוּבָ֖א H935 the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 found מָצָא֙ H4672 Hilkiah חִלְקִיָּ֣הוּ H2518 the priest הַכֹּהֵ֔ן H3548 אֶת H853 a book סֵ֥פֶר H5612 of the law תּֽוֹרַת H8451 of the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 given by בְּיַד H3027 Moses מֹשֶֽׁה׃ H4872 15 answered וַיַּ֣עַן H6030 And Hilkiah חִלְקִיָּ֛הוּ H2518 and said וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 אֶל H413 to Shaphan שָׁפָֽן׃ H8227 the scribe הַסּוֹפֵ֔ר H5608 the book הַסֵּ֖פֶר H5612 of the law הַתּוֹרָ֛ה H8451 I have found מָצָ֖אתִי H4672 in the house בְּבֵ֣ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 delivered וַיִּתֵּ֧ן H5414 And Hilkiah חִלְקִיָּ֛הוּ H2518 אֶת H853 the book הַסֵּ֖פֶר H5612 אֶל H413 to Shaphan שָׁפָֽן׃ H8227 16 carried וַיָּבֵ֨א H935 And Shaphan שָׁפָ֤ן H8227 אֶת H853 the book הַסֵּ֙פֶר֙ H5612 אֶל H413 the king הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ H4428 and brought וַיָּ֨שֶׁב H7725 ע֧וֹד H5750 אֶת H853 the king הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ H4428 word דָּבָ֖ר H1697 again saying לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 כֹּ֛ל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 All that was committed נִתַּ֥ן H5414 to בְּיַד H3027 thy servants עֲבָדֶ֖יךָ H5650 הֵ֥ם H1992 they do עֹשִֽׂים׃ H6213 17 And they have gathered together וַיַּתִּ֕יכוּ H5413 אֶת H853 the money הַכֶּ֖סֶף H3701 that was found הַנִּמְצָ֣א H4672 in the house בְּבֵית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 and have delivered וַֽיִּתְּנ֗וּהוּ H5414 עַל H5921 and to the hand יַ֖ד H3027 of the overseers הַמֻּפְקָדִ֔ים H6485 וְעַל H5921 and to the hand יַ֖ד H3027 of the workmen עוֹשֵׂ֥י H6213 הַמְּלָאכָֽה׃ H4399 18 told וַיַּגֵּ֞ד H5046 And Shaphan שָׁפָ֖ן H8227 the scribe הַסּוֹפֵר֙ H5608 the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 saying לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 me a book סֵ֚פֶר H5612 hath given נָ֣תַן H5414 לִ֔י H0 Hilkiah חִלְקִיָּ֖הוּ H2518 the priest הַכֹּהֵ֑ן H3548 read וַיִּקְרָא H7121 ב֥וֹ H0 And Shaphan שָׁפָ֖ן H8227 it before לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 19 וַֽיְהִי֙ H1961 had heard כִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ H8085 And it came to pass when the king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 אֵ֖ת H853 the words דִּבְרֵ֣י H1697 of the law הַתּוֹרָ֑ה H8451 that he rent וַיִּקְרַ֖ע H7167 אֶת H853 his clothes בְּגָדָֽיו׃ H899 20 commanded וַיְצַ֣ו H6680 And the king הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 אֶת H853 Hilkiah חִלְקִיָּ֡הוּ H2518 וְאֶת H853 and Ahikam אֲחִיקָ֣ם H296 the son בֶּן H1121 and Shaphan שָׁפָ֣ן H8227 וְאֶת H853 and Abdon עַבְדּ֨וֹן H5658 the son בֶּן H1121 of Micah מִיכָ֜ה H4318 וְאֵ֣ת׀ H853 and Shaphan שָׁפָ֣ן H8227 the scribe הַסּוֹפֵ֗ר H5608 וְאֵ֛ת H853 and Asaiah עֲשָׂיָ֥ה H6222 a servant עֶֽבֶד H5650 And the king הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 21 לְכוּ֩ H1980 enquire דִרְשׁ֨וּ H1875 אֶת H853 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 בַּֽעֲדִ֗י H1157 וּבְעַד֙ H1157 for me and for them that are left הַנִּשְׁאָר֙ H7604 in Israel בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל H3478 and in Judah וּבִֽיהוּדָ֔ה H3063 עַל H5921 concerning the words דְּבַ֣ר H1697 in this book הַסֵּ֥פֶר H5612 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 that is found נִמְצָ֑א H4672 כִּֽי H3588 for great גְדוֹלָ֤ה H1419 is the wrath חֲמַת H2534 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 that is poured out נִתְּכָ֣ה H5413 בָ֔נוּ H0 עַל֩ H5921 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 have not kept שָׁמְר֤וּ H8104 upon us because our fathers אֲבוֹתֵ֙ינוּ֙ H1 אֶת H853 concerning the words דְּבַ֣ר H1697 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 to do לַֽעֲשׂ֕וֹת H6213 כְּכָל H3605 after all that is written הַכָּת֖וּב H3789 עַל H5921 in this book הַסֵּ֥פֶר H5612 הַזֶּֽה׃ H2088 22 וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ H1980 And Hilkiah חִלְקִיָּ֜הוּ H2518 וַֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 and they that the king הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ H4428 אֶל H413 to Huldah חֻלְדָּ֨ה H2468 the prophetess הַנְּבִיאָ֜ה H5031 the wife אֵ֣שֶׁת׀ H802 of Shallum שַׁלֻּ֣ם H7967 the son בֶּן H1121 of Tikvath תָּוקְהַ֗ת H8616 the son בֶּן H1121 of Hasrah חַסְרָה֙ H2641 keeper שׁוֹמֵ֣ר H8104 of the wardrobe הַבְּגָדִ֔ים H899 וְהִ֛יא H1931 now she dwelt יוֹשֶׁ֥בֶת H3427 in Jerusalem בִּירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם H3389 in the college בַּמִּשְׁנֶ֑ה H4932 and they spake וַיְדַבְּר֥וּ H1696 אֵלֶ֖יהָ H413 כָּזֹֽאת׃ H2063 23 And she answered אִמְר֣וּ H559 לָהֶ֔ם H0 כֹּֽה H3541 And she answered אִמְר֣וּ H559 the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 God אֱלֹהֵ֣י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 And she answered אִמְר֣וּ H559 ye the man לָאִ֔ישׁ H376 אֲשֶׁר H834 that sent שָׁלַ֥ח H7971 אֶתְכֶ֖ם H853 אֵלָֽי׃ H413 24 כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus saith אָמַ֣ר H559 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 הִנְנִ֨י H2005 Behold I will bring מֵבִ֥יא H935 evil רָעָ֛ה H7451 עַל H5921 upon this place הַמָּק֥וֹם H4725 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 וְעַל H5921 and upon the inhabitants יֽוֹשְׁבָ֑יו H3427 אֵ֤ת H853 כָּל H3605 thereof even all the curses הָֽאָלוֹת֙ H423 that are written הַכְּתוּב֣וֹת H3789 עַל H5921 in the book הַסֵּ֔פֶר H5612 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which they have read קָֽרְא֔וּ H7121 before לִפְנֵ֖י H6440 the king מֶ֥לֶךְ H4428 of Judah יְהוּדָֽה׃ H3063 25 תַּ֣חַת׀ H8478 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 Because they have forsaken עֲזָב֗וּנִי H5800 me and have burned incense וַֽיְקַטְּירוּ֙ H6999 gods לֵֽאלֹהִ֣ים H430 unto other אֲחֵרִ֔ים H312 לְמַ֙עַן֙ H4616 that they might provoke me to anger הַכְעִיסֵ֔נִי H3707 בְּכֹ֖ל H3605 with all the works מַֽעֲשֵׂ֣י H4639 of their hands יְדֵיהֶ֑ם H3027 shall be poured out וְתִתַּ֧ךְ H5413 therefore my wrath חֲמָתִ֛י H2534 upon this place בַּמָּק֥וֹם H4725 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 וְלֹ֥א H3808 and shall not be quenched תִכְבֶּֽה׃ H3518 26 And as for אֵלָ֑יו H413 the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 who sent הַשֹּׁלֵ֤חַ H7971 אֶתְכֶם֙ H853 you to enquire לִדְר֣וֹשׁ H1875 of the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 כֹּ֥ה H3541 so shall ye say אָמַ֤ר H559 And as for אֵלָ֑יו H413 כֹּֽה H3541 so shall ye say אָמַ֤ר H559 of the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 God אֱלֹהֵ֣י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 concerning the words הַדְּבָרִ֖ים H1697 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which thou hast heard שָׁמָֽעְתָּ׃ H8085 27 יַ֠עַן H3282 was tender רַךְ H7401 Because thine heart לְבָ֨בְךָ֜ H3824 and thou didst humble וַתִּכָּנַ֣ע H3665 before לְפָנָ֑י H6440 God אֱלֹהִ֗ים H430 me I have even heard שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי H8085 אֶת H853 his words דְּבָרָיו֙ H1697 עַל H5921 against this place הַמָּק֤וֹם H4725 הַזֶּה֙ H2088 וְעַל H5921 and against the inhabitants יֹ֣שְׁבָ֔יו H3427 and thou didst humble וַתִּכָּנַ֣ע H3665 before לְפָנָ֑י H6440 me and didst rend וַתִּקְרַ֥ע H7167 אֶת H853 thy clothes בְּגָדֶ֖יךָ H899 and weep וַתֵּ֣בְךְּ H1058 before לְפָנָ֑י H6440 וְגַם H1571 אֲנִ֥י H589 me I have even heard שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי H8085 thee also saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 28 הִנְנִ֨י H2005 Behold I will gather וְנֶֽאֱסַפְתָּ֣ H622 אֶל H413 thee to thy fathers אֲבֹתֶ֗יךָ H1 Behold I will gather וְנֶֽאֱסַפְתָּ֣ H622 אֶל H413 to thy grave קִבְרוֹתֶיךָ֮ H6913 in peace בְּשָׁלוֹם֒ H7965 וְלֹֽא H3808 see תִרְאֶ֣ינָה H7200 neither shall thine eyes עֵינֶ֔יךָ H5869 בְּכֹל֙ H3605 לָלֶ֜כֶת H1980 after אַֽחֲרֵ֣י H310 the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 and to keep וְלִשְׁמ֤וֹר H8104 אֶת H853 his commandments מִצְוֹתָיו֙ H4687 and his testimonies וְעֵֽדְוֹתָ֣יו H5715 and his statutes וְחֻקָּ֔יו H2706 בְּכָל H3605 with all his heart לְבָב֖וֹ H3824 וּבְכָל H3605 and with all his soul נַפְשׁ֑וֹ H5315 to perform לַֽעֲשׂוֹת֙ H6213 אֶת H853 the words דִּבְרֵ֣י H1697 a covenant
