when he came וַיָּבֹא֙ H935 in Samaria בְּשֹֽׁמְר֖וֹן H8111 he slew וַ֠יַּךְ H5221 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all that remained הַנִּשְׁאָרִ֧ים H7604 unto Ahab לְאַחְאָ֛ב H256 in Samaria בְּשֹֽׁמְר֖וֹן H8111 עַד H5704 till he had destroyed הִשְׁמִד֑וֹ H8045 him according to the saying כִּדְבַ֣ר H1697 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which he spake דִּבֶּ֖ר H1696 אֶל H413 to Elijah אֵֽלִיָּֽהוּ׃ H452 18 gathered וַיִּקְבֹּ֤ץ H6908 And Jehu יֵה֖וּא H3058 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 and said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 אֲלֵהֶ֔ם H413 unto them Ahab אַחְאָ֕ב H256 served יַֽעַבְדֶ֥נּוּ H5647 אֶת H853 Baal הַבַּ֖עַל H1168 a little מְעָ֑ט H4592 And Jehu יֵה֖וּא H3058 served יַֽעַבְדֶ֥נּוּ H5647 him much הַרְבֵּֽה׃ H7235 19 וְעַתָּ֣ה H6258 כָל H3605 unto me all the prophets נְבִיאֵ֣י H5030 of Baal הַבָּֽעַל׃ H1168 כָּל H3605 all his servants עֹֽבְדֵ֥י H5647 וְכָל H3605 and all his priests כֹּֽהֲנָיו֩ H3548 Now therefore call קִרְא֨וּ H7121 אֵלַ֜י H413 let none אִ֣ישׁ H376 אַל H408 be wanting יִפָּקֵ֖ד H6485 כִּי֩ H3588 sacrifice זֶ֨בַח H2077 for I have a great גָּד֥וֹל H1419 לִי֙ H0 of Baal הַבָּֽעַל׃ H1168 כֹּ֥ל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 be wanting יִפָּקֵ֖ד H6485 לֹ֣א H3808 he shall not live יִֽחְיֶ֑ה H2421 But Jehu וְיֵהוּא֙ H3058 did עָשָׂ֣ה H6213 it in subtilty בְעָקְבָּ֔ה H6122 לְמַ֥עַן H4616 to the intent that he might destroy הַֽאֲבִ֖יד H6 אֶת H853 all his servants עֹֽבְדֵ֥י H5647 of Baal הַבָּֽעַל׃ H1168 20 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And Jehu יֵה֗וּא H3058 Proclaim קַדְּשׁ֧וּ H6942 a solemn assembly עֲצָרָ֛ה H6116 for Baal לַבַּ֖עַל H1168 And they proclaimed וַיִּקְרָֽאוּ׃ H7121 21 sent וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח H7971 And Jehu יֵהוּא֙ H3058 בְּכָל H3605 through all Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 came וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ H935 כָּל H3605 and all the worshippers עֹֽבְדֵ֣י H5647 of Baal הַבַּ֖עַל H1168 וְלֹֽא H3808 left נִשְׁאַ֥ר H7604 so that there was not a man אִ֖ישׁ H376 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 לֹא H3808 came וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ H935 came וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ H935 and the house בֵית H1004 of Baal הַבַּ֖עַל H1168 was full וַיִּמָּלֵ֥א H4390 and the house בֵית H1004 of Baal הַבַּ֖עַל H1168 from one end לָפֶֽה׃ H6310 from one end לָפֶֽה׃ H6310 22 And he said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 לַֽאֲשֶׁר֙ H834 עַל H5921 unto him that was over the vestry הַמֶּלְתָּחָ֔ה H4458 And he brought them forth וַיֹּצֵ֥א H3318 vestments לְב֔וּשׁ H3830 לְכֹ֖ל H3605 for all the worshippers עֹֽבְדֵ֣י H5647 of Baal הַבָּ֑עַל H1168 And he brought them forth וַיֹּצֵ֥א H3318 לָהֶ֖ם H0 vestments הַמַּלְבּֽוּשׁ׃ H4403 23 went וַיָּבֹ֥א H935 And Jehu יֵה֛וּא H3058 and Jehonadab וִיהֽוֹנָדָ֥ב H3082 the son בֶּן H1121 of Rechab רֵכָ֖ב H7394 into the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 of Baal הַבַּ֖עַל H1168 and said וַיֹּ֜אמֶר H559 but the worshippers עֹֽבְדֵ֥י H5647 of Baal הַבַּ֖עַל H1168 Search חַפְּשׂ֤וּ H2664 and look וּרְאוּ֙ H7200 פֶּן H6435 that there be יֶשׁ H3426 פֹּ֤ה H6311 עִמָּכֶם֙ H5973 here with you none of the servants מֵֽעַבְדֵ֣י H5650 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 כִּ֛י H3588 אִם H518 but the worshippers עֹֽבְדֵ֥י H5647 of Baal הַבַּ֖עַל H1168 לְבַדָּֽם׃ H905 24 And when they went in מֵבִ֣יא H935 to offer לַֽעֲשׂ֖וֹת H6213 sacrifices זְבָחִ֣ים H2077 and burnt offerings וְעֹל֑וֹת H5930 Jehu וְיֵה֞וּא H3058 appointed שָֽׂם H7760 ל֤וֹ H0 without בַחוּץ֙ H2351 fourscore שְׁמֹנִ֣ים H8084 If any הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֗ים H376 and said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 If any הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֗ים H376 אֲשֶׁר H834 escape יִמָּלֵט֙ H4422 מִן H4480 If any הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֗ים H376 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 אֲנִי֙ H589 And when they went in מֵבִ֣יא H935 עַל H5921 into your hands יְדֵיכֶ֔ם H3027 he that letteth him go his life נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ H5315 תַּ֥חַת H8478 he that letteth him go his life נַפְשֽׁוֹ׃ H5315 25 וַיְהִ֞י H1961 And it came to pass as soon as he had made an end כְּכַלֹּת֣וֹ׀ H3615 of offering לַֽעֲשׂ֣וֹת H6213 the burnt offering הָֽעֹלָ֗ה H5930 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 that Jehu יֵ֠הוּא H3058 and the guard הָֽרָצִים֙ H7323 and the captains וְהַשָּׁ֣לִשִׁ֔ים H7991 Go in בֹּ֤אוּ H935 And they smote וַיַּכּ֖וּם H5221 them let none אִ֣ישׁ H376 אַל H408 come forth יֵצֵ֔א H3318 And they smote וַיַּכּ֖וּם H5221 them with the edge לְפִי H6310 of the sword חָ֑רֶב H2719 cast them out וַיַּשְׁלִ֗כוּ H7993 and the guard הָֽרָצִים֙ H7323 and the captains וְהַשָּׁ֣לִשִׁ֔ים H7991 וַיֵּֽלְכ֖וּ H1980 עַד H5704 to the city עִ֥יר H5892 of the house בֵּית H1004 of Baal הַבָּֽעַל׃ H1168 26 And they brought forth וַיֹּצִ֛אוּ H3318 אֶת H853 the images מַצְּב֥וֹת H4676 out of the house בֵּית H1004 of Baal הַבַּ֖עַל H1168 and burned וַֽיִּשְׂרְפֽוּהָ׃ H8313 27 And they brake down וַֽיִּתְּצוּ֙ H5422 אֵ֖ת H853 the image מַצְּבַ֣ת H4676 of Baal הַבַּ֔עַל H1168 And they brake down וַֽיִּתְּצוּ֙ H5422 אֶת H853 the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 of Baal הַבַּ֔עַל H1168 and made וַיְשִׂמֻ֥הוּ H7760 it a draught house לְמֽחֹרָא֖וֹת H4163 עַד H5704 unto this day הַיּֽוֹם׃ H3117 28 destroyed וַיַּשְׁמֵ֥ד H8045 Thus Jehu יֵה֛וּא H3058 אֶת H853 Baal הַבַּ֖עַל H1168 out of Israel מִיִּשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 29 רַ֠ק H7535 Howbeit from the sins חֲטָאֵ֞י H2399 of Jeroboam יָֽרָבְעָ֤ם H3379 the son בֶּן H1121 of Nebat נְבָט֙ H5028 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 to sin הֶֽחֱטִ֣יא H2398 אֶת H853 who made Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 לֹא H3808 departed סָ֥ר H5493 Jehu יֵה֖וּא H3058 not from after מֵאַֽחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם H310 calves עֶגְלֵי֙ H5695 them to wit the golden הַזָּהָ֔ב H2091 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 בֵּֽית H0 that were in Bethel אֵ֖ל H1008 וַֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 and that were in Dan בְּדָֽן׃ H1835 30 right הַיָּשָׁר֙ H3477 in mine eyes בְּעֵינַ֔י H5869 כְּכֹל֙ H3605 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 according to all that was in mine heart בִּלְבָבִ֔י H3824 and hast done עָשִׂ֖יתָ H6213 unto the house לְבֵ֣ית H1004 of Ahab אַחְאָ֑ב H256 thy children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of the fourth רְבִעִ֔ים H7243 generation shall sit יֵֽשְׁב֥וּ H3427 לְךָ֖ H0 עַל H5921 on the throne כִּסֵּ֥א H3678 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 31 But
