mother's אִמּ֔וֹ H517 was Zibiah צִבְיָ֖ה H6645 מִבְּאֵ֥ר H0 of Beersheba שָֽׁבַע׃ H884 2 did וַיַּ֨עַשׂ H6213 And Jehoash יְהוֹאָ֧שׁ H3060 that which was right הַיָּשָׁ֛ר H3477 in the sight shall be found יִמָּצֵ֥א H4672 שָׁ֖ם H8033 the breaches בָּֽדֶק׃ H919 6 וַיְהִ֗י H1961 year שָׁנָ֖ה H8141 and twentieth עֶשְׂרִ֧ים H6242 But it was so that in the three וְשָׁלֹ֛שׁ H7969 year שָׁנָ֖ה H8141 of king לַמֶּ֣לֶךְ H4428 Jehoash יְהוֹאָ֑שׁ H3060 לֹֽא H3808 had not repaired חִזְּק֥וּ H2388 the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֖ים H3548 אֶת H853 the breaches בֶּ֥דֶק H919 of the house הַבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 7 called וַיִּקְרָא֩ H7121 Then king הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ H4428 Jehoash יְהוֹאָ֜שׁ H3060 for Jehoiada לִיהֽוֹיָדָ֤ע H3077 and the other priests וְלַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים H3548 and the other priests וְלַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים H3548 and said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 אֲלֵהֶ֔ם H413 מַדּ֛וּעַ H4069 אֵֽינְכֶ֥ם H369 unto them Why repair מְחַזְּקִ֖ים H2388 אֶת H853 it for the breaches לְבֶ֥דֶק H919 of the house הַבַּ֖יִת H1004 וְעַתָּ֗ה H6258 H1004 but deliver תִּתְּנֻֽהוּ׃ H5414 8 consented וַיֵּאֹ֖תוּ H225 And the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֑ים H3548 neither וּלְבִלְתִּ֥י H1115 to receive קְחַת H3947 more money כֶּ֙סֶף֙ H3701 מֵאֵ֣ת H853 of the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 neither וּלְבִלְתִּ֥י H1115 to repair חַזֵּ֖ק H2388 אֶת H853 the breaches בֶּ֥דֶק H919 of the house הַבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 9 took וַיִּקַּ֞ח H3947 But Jehoiada יְהֽוֹיָדָ֤ע H3077 and the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ H3548 chest אֲר֣וֹן H727 a אֶחָ֔ד H259 and bored וַיִּקֹּ֥ב H5344 a hole חֹ֖ר H2356 in the lid בְּדַלְתּ֑וֹ H1817 of it and set וְנָֽתְנוּ H5414 אֹתוֹ֩ H853 it beside אֵ֨צֶל H681 the altar הַמִּזְבֵּ֜חַ H4196 on the right side בִיָּמִ֗ין H3225 cometh הַמּוּבָ֥א H935 as one אִישׁ֙ H376 into the house בֵית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 of it and set וְנָֽתְנוּ H5414 שָׁ֤מָּה H8033 and the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ H3548 that kept שֹֽׁמְרֵ֣י H8104 the door הַסַּ֔ף H5592 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 therein all the money הַכֶּ֖סֶף H3701 cometh הַמּוּבָ֥א H935 into the house בֵית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 10 וַֽיְהִי֙ H1961 And it was so when they saw כִּרְאוֹתָ֔ם H7200 כִּי H3588 that there was much רַ֥ב H7227 money הַכֶּ֖סֶף H3701 in the chest בָּֽאָר֑וֹן H727 came up וַיַּ֨עַל H5927 scribe סֹפֵ֤ר H5608 that the king's הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 priest וְהַכֹּהֵ֣ן H3548 and the high הַגָּד֔וֹל H1419 and they put up in bags וַיָּצֻ֙רוּ֙ H6696 and told וַיִּמְנ֔וּ H4487 אֶת H853 money הַכֶּ֖סֶף H3701 that was found הַנִּמְצָ֥א H4672 in the house בֵית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 11 And they gave וְנָֽתְנוּ֙ H5414 אֶת H853 the money הַכֶּ֣סֶף H3701 being told הַֽמְתֻכָּ֔ן H8505 עַל H5921 into the hands יְדֵ֙ H3027 of them that did הָֽעֹשִׂ֖ים H6213 the work הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה H4399 that had the oversight הַפְקָדִ֖ים H6485 of the house בֵּ֥ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 and they laid it out וַיּֽוֹצִיאֻ֜הוּ H3318 to the carpenters לְחָֽרָשֵׁ֤י H2796 הָעֵץ֙ H6086 and builders וְלַבֹּנִ֔ים H1129 of them that did הָֽעֹשִׂ֖ים H6213 of the house בֵּ֥ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 12 And to masons וְלַגֹּֽדְרִים֙ H1443 and hewers וּלְחֹֽצְבֵ֣י H2672 of stone וְאַבְנֵ֣י H68 and to buy וְלִקְנ֤וֹת H7069 timber עֵצִים֙ H6086 of stone וְאַבְנֵ֣י H68 and hewed מַחְצֵ֔ב H4274 to repair לְחַזֵּ֖ק H2388 אֶת H853 the breaches בֶּ֣דֶק H919 for the house הַבַּ֖יִת H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 וּלְכֹ֛ל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 and for all that was laid out יֵצֵ֥א H3318 עַל H5921 for the house הַבַּ֖יִת H1004 to repair לְחָזְקָֽה׃ H2394 13 אַךְ֩ H389 לֹ֨א H3808 Howbeit there were not made יֵֽעָשֶׂ֜ה H6213 for the house בֵית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 bowls סִפּ֥וֹת H5592 of silver הַכֶּ֖סֶף H3701 snuffers מְזַמְּר֤וֹת H4212 basons מִזְרָקוֹת֙ H4219 trumpets חֲצֹ֣צְר֔וֹת H2689 כָּל H3605 any vessels וּכְלִי H3627 of gold זָהָ֖ב H2091 any vessels וּכְלִי H3627 of silver הַכֶּ֖סֶף H3701 מִן H4480 of silver הַכֶּ֖סֶף H3701 that was brought הַמּוּבָ֥א H935 for the house בֵית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 14 כִּֽי H3588 לְעֹשֵׂ֥י H6213 that to the workmen הַמְּלָאכָ֖ה H4399 But they gave יִתְּנֻ֑הוּ H5414 and repaired וְחִזְּקוּ H2388 ב֖וֹ H0 אֶת H853 therewith the house בֵּ֥ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 15 וְלֹ֧א H3808 Moreover they reckoned יְחַשְּׁב֣וּ H2803 אֶת H854 not with the men הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֗ים H582 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 they delivered לָתֵ֖ת H5414 אֶת H853 the money הַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ H3701 עַל H5921 into whose hand יָדָ֔ם H3027 they delivered לָתֵ֖ת H5414 for they dealt עֹשִֽׂים׃ H6213 on workmen הַמְּלָאכָ֑ה H4399 כִּ֥י H3588 faithfully בֶֽאֱמֻנָ֖ה H530 הֵ֥ם H1992 for they dealt עֹשִֽׂים׃ H6213 16 money וְכֶ֣סֶף H3701 H3548 יִֽהְיֽוּ׃ H1961 17 אָ֣ז H227 to go up לַֽעֲל֖וֹת H5927 Then Hazael חֲזָאֵל֙ H2371 king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Syria אֲרָ֔ם H758 and fought וַיִּלָּ֥חֶם H3898 עַל H5921 against Gath גַּ֖ת H1661 and took וַֽיִּלְכְּדָ֑הּ H3920 set וַיָּ֤שֶׂם H7760 Then Hazael חֲזָאֵל֙ H2371 his face פָּנָ֔יו H6440 to go up לַֽעֲל֖וֹת H5927 עַל H5921 to Jerusalem יְרֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 18 took וַיִּקַּ֞ח H3947 And Jehoash יְהוֹאָ֣שׁ H3060 and in the king's מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Judah יְהוּדָה֙ H3063 אֵ֣ת H853 כָּל H3605 all the hallowed things קֳדָשָׁ֔יו H6944 אֲשֶׁר H834 had dedicated הִקְדִּ֣ישׁוּ H6942 that Jehoshaphat יְהֽוֹשָׁפָ֣ט H3092 and Jehoram וִֽיהוֹרָם֩ H3088 and Ahaziah וַֽאֲחַזְיָ֨הוּ H274 his fathers אֲבֹתָ֜יו H1 and in the king's מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Judah יְהוּדָה֙ H3063 וְאֶת H853 all the hallowed things קֳדָשָׁ֔יו H6944 וְאֵ֣ת H853 כָּל H3605 and all the gold הַזָּהָ֗ב H2091 that was found הַנִּמְצָ֛א H4672 in the treasures בְּאֹֽצְר֥וֹת H214 house וּבֵ֣ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 house וּבֵ֣ית H1004 and in the king's מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 and sent וַיִּשְׁלַ֗ח H7971 it to Hazael לַֽחֲזָאֵל֙ H2371 and in the king's מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Syria אֲרָ֔ם H758 and he went away וַיַּ֖עַל H5927 מֵעַ֥ל H5921 from Jerusalem יְרֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 19 And the rest וְיֶ֛תֶר H3499 of the acts דִּבְרֵ֥י H1697 of Joash יוֹאָ֖שׁ H3101 וְכָל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 and all that he did עָשָׂ֑ה H6213 הֲלוֹא H3808 הֵ֣ם H1992 are they not written כְּתוּבִ֗ים H3789 עַל H5921 in the book סֵ֛פֶר H5612 of the acts דִּבְרֵ֥י H1697 הַיָּמִ֖ים H3117 of the kings לְמַלְכֵ֥י H4428 of Judah יְהוּדָֽה׃ H3063 20 arose וַיָּקֻ֥מוּ H6965 And his servants עֲבָדָ֖יו H5650 and made וַיִּקְשְׁרוּ H7194 a conspiracy קָ֑שֶׁר H7195 and slew וַיַּכּוּ֙ H5221 אֶת H853 Joash יוֹאָ֔שׁ H3101 in the house בֵּ֥ית H1004 of Millo מִלֹּ֖א H4407 which goeth down הַיֹּרֵ֥ד H3381 to Silla סִלָּֽא׃ H5538 21 For Jozachar וְיוֹזָכָ֣ר H3108 his son בְנ֖וֹ H1121 of Shimeath שִׁ֠מְעָת H8100 and Jehozabad וִיהֽוֹזָבָ֨ד H3075 his son בְנ֖וֹ H1121 of Shomer שֹׁמֵ֤ר׀ H7763 his servants עֲבָדָיו֙ H5650 smote הִכֻּ֣הוּ H5221 him and he died וַיָּמֹ֔ת H4191 and they buried וַֽיִּקְבְּר֥וּ H6912 אֹת֛וֹ H853 עִם H5973 him with his
