חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ H2396 כֹּֽה H3541 Thus saith אָמַ֞ר H559 king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 the great הַגָּדוֹל֙ H1419 king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Assyria אַשּׁ֔וּר H804 מָ֧ה H4100 What confidence הַבִּטָּח֛וֹן H986 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 is this wherein thou trustest בָּטָֽחְתָּ׃ H982 20 Thou sayest אָמַ֙רְתָּ֙ H559 אַךְ H389 words דְּבַר H1697 but they are but vain שְׂפָתַ֔יִם H8193 I have counsel עֵצָ֥ה H6098 and strength וּגְבוּרָ֖ה H1369 for the war לַמִּלְחָמָ֑ה H4421 עַתָּה֙ H6258 עַל H5921 מִ֣י H4310 Now on whom dost thou trust בָטַ֔חְתָּ H982 כִּ֥י H3588 that thou rebellest מָרַ֖דְתָּ H4775 בִּֽי׃ H0 21 עַתָּ֡ה H6258 הִנֵּ֣ה H2009 Now behold thou trustest הַבֹּטְחִ֖ים H982 לְּךָ֡ H0 עַל H5921 upon the staff מִשְׁעֶנֶת֩ H4938 reed הַקָּנֶ֨ה H7070 of this bruised הָרָצ֤וּץ H7533 הַזֶּה֙ H2088 עַל H5921 even upon Egypt מִצְרַ֔יִם H4714 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 lean יִסָּמֵ֥ךְ H5564 on which if a man אִישׁ֙ H376 עָלָ֔יו H5921 it will go וּבָ֥א H935 into his hand בְכַפּ֖וֹ H3709 and pierce וּנְקָבָ֑הּ H5344 כֵּ֚ן חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ H2396 אֶת H853 is not that he whose high places בָּֽמֹתָ֣יו H1116 וְאֶת H853 and whose altars הַמִּזְבֵּ֣חַ H4196 But if ye say וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 to Judah לִֽיהוּדָה֙ H3063 and Jerusalem בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 before לִפְנֵי֙ H6440 and whose altars הַמִּזְבֵּ֣חַ H4196 הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 Ye shall worship תִּֽשְׁתַּחֲו֖וּ H7812 and Jerusalem בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 23 וְעַתָּה֙ H6258 Now therefore I pray thee give pledges הִתְעָ֣רֶב H6148 נָ֔א H4994 אֶת H854 to my lord אֲדֹנִ֖י H113 אֶת H853 the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Assyria אַשּׁ֑וּר H804 and I will deliver לָ֥תֶת H5414 לְךָ֙ H0 thee two thousand אַלְפַּ֣יִם H505 horses סוּסִ֔ים H5483 אִם H518 if thou be able תּוּכַ֕ל H3201 and I will deliver לָ֥תֶת H5414 לְךָ֖ H0 riders רֹֽכְבִ֥ים H7392 עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ H5921 24 וְאֵ֣יךְ H349 How then wilt thou turn away תָּשִׁ֗יב H7725 אֵ֠ת H853 the face פְּנֵ֨י H6440 captain פַחַ֥ת H6346 of one אַחַ֛ד H259 servants עַבְדֵ֥י H5650 of my master's אֲדֹנִ֖י H113 of the least הַקְּטַנִּ֑ים H6996 and put thy trust וַתִּבְטַ֤ח H982 לְךָ֙ H0 עַל H5921 on Egypt מִצְרַ֔יִם H4714 for chariots לְרֶ֖כֶב H7393 and for horsemen וּלְפָֽרָשִֽׁים׃ H6571 25 עַתָּה֙ H6258 without הֲמִבַּלְעֲדֵ֣י H1107 it The Hilkiah חִ֠לְקִיָּהוּ H2518 and Shebna וְשֶׁבְנָ֨ה H7644 and Joah וְיוֹאָ֜ח H3098 אֶל H413 unto Rabshakeh רַבְשָׁקֵ֗ה H7262 Speak תְּדַבֵּ֤ר H1696 נָ֤א H4994 אֶל H413 I pray thee to thy servants עֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ H5650 in the Syrian language אֲרָמִ֔ית H762 כִּ֥י H3588 for we understand שֹֽׁמְעִ֖ים H8085 אֲנָ֑חְנוּ H587 וְאַל H408 Speak תְּדַבֵּ֤ר H1696 עִמָּ֙נוּ֙ H5973 not with us in the Jews' הַדְּבָרִ֣ים H1697 הָאֵ֑לֶּה H428 הֲלֹ֣א H3808 עַל H5921 הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֗ים H376 which sit הַיֹּֽשְׁבִים֙ H3427 עַל H5921 on the wall הַ֣חֹמָ֔ה H2346 that they may eat לֶֽאֱכֹ֣ל H398 אֶת H853 חרָיהָ֗ם king מֶ֥לֶךְ H4428 of Assyria אַשּֽׁוּר׃ H804 29 כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus saith אָמַ֣ר H559 the king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 אַל H408 deceive יַשִּׁ֥א H5377 לָכֶ֖ם H0 Let not Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ H2396 כִּי H3588 לֹ֣א H3808 you for he shall not be able יוּכַ֔ל H3201 to deliver לְהַצִּ֥יל H5337 אֶתְכֶ֖ם H853 you out of his hand מִיָּדֽוֹ׃ H3027 30 וְאַל H408 make you trust יַבְטַ֨ח H982 אֶתְכֶ֤ם H853 Neither not to Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ H2396 כִּי֩ H3588 כֹ֨ה H3541 for thus saith אָמַ֜ר H559 the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Assyria אַשּׁ֗וּר H804 Make עֲשֽׂוּ H6213 אִתִּ֤י H854 an agreement with me by a present
