and said אָמַ֤ר H559 אֵלָ֜יו H413 כֹּֽה H3541 to him and said אָמַ֤ר H559 the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 in order צַ֣ו H6680 Set thine house לְבֵיתֶ֔ךָ H1004 כִּ֛י H3588 for thou shalt die מֵ֥ת H4191 אַתָּ֖ה שׁ֣וּב H7725 Thus saith אָמַ֤ר H559 אֶל H413 Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ H2396 the captain נְגִיד H5057 of my people עַמִּ֗י H5971 כֹּֽה H3541 Thus saith אָמַ֤ר H559 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 the God אֱלֹהֵי֙ H430 of David דָּוִ֣ד H1732 thy father אָבִ֔יךָ H1 I have heard שָׁמַ֙עְתִּי֙ H8085 אֶת H853 thy prayer תְּפִלָּתֶ֔ךָ H8605 I have seen רָאִ֖יתִי H7200 אֶת H853 thy tears דִּמְעָתֶ֑ךָ H1832 הִנְנִי֙ H2005 behold I will heal רֹ֣פֶא H7495 לָ֔ךְ H0 day בַּיּוֹם֙ H3117 thee on the third הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י H7992 thou shalt go up תַּֽעֲלֶ֖ה H5927 unto the house בֵּ֥ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 6 And I will add וְהֹֽסַפְתִּ֣י H3254 עַל H5921 unto thy days יָמֶ֗יךָ H3117 fifteen חֲמֵ֤שׁ H2568 עֶשְׂרֵה֙ H6240 years שָׁנָ֔ה H8141 out of the hand וּמִכַּ֤ף H3709 of the king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Assyria אַשּׁוּר֙ H804 and I will deliver אַצִּ֣ילְךָ֔ H5337 וְאֵ֖ת H853 thee and this city הָעִ֣יר H5892 הַזֹּ֑את H2063 and I will defend וְגַנּוֹתִי֙ H1598 עַל H5921 thee and this city הָעִ֣יר H5892 הַזֹּ֔את H2063 לְמַֽעֲנִ֔י H4616 וּלְמַ֖עַן H4616 David's דָּוִ֥ד H1732 for mine own sake and for my servant עַבְדִּֽי׃ H5650 7 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And Isaiah יְשַׁעְיָ֔הוּ H3470 And they took וַיִּקְח֛וּ H3947 a lump דְּבֶ֣לֶת H1690 of figs תְּאֵנִ֑ים H8384 And they took וַיִּקְח֛וּ H3947 and laid וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ H7760 עַֽל H5921 it on the boil הַשְּׁחִ֖ין H7822 and he recovered וַיֶּֽחִי׃ H2421 8 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 And Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ H2396 אֶֽל H413 unto Isaiah יְשַׁעְיָ֔הוּ H3470 מָ֣ה H4100 What shall be the sign א֔וֹת H226 כִּֽי H3588 will heal יִרְפָּ֥א H7495 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 לִ֑י H0 me and that I shall go up וְעָלִ֛יתִי H5927 day בַּיּ֥וֹם H3117 the third הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֖י H7992 into the house בֵּ֥ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 9 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And Isaiah יְשַׁעְיָ֗הוּ H3470 זֶה H2088 לְּךָ֤ H0 This sign הָאוֹת֙ H226 מֵאֵ֣ת H853 shalt thou have of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 כִּ֚י H3588 will do יַֽעֲשֶׂ֣ה H6213 shalt thou have of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 אֶת H853 the thing הַדָּבָ֖ר H1697 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 that he hath spoken דִּבֵּ֑ר H1696 go forward הָלַ֤ךְ H1980 shall the shadow הַצֵּל֙ H6738 ten עֶ֥שֶׂר H6235 degrees מַֽעֲלֽוֹת׃ H4609 אִם H518 or go back יָשׁ֖וּב H7725 ten עֶ֥שֶׂר H6235 degrees מַֽעֲלֽוֹת׃ H4609 10 answered וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 And Hezekiah יְחִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ H3169 It is a light thing נָקֵ֣ל H7043 for the shadow הַצֵּ֛ל H6738 to go down לִנְט֖וֹת H5186 ten עֶ֥שֶׂר H6235 degrees מַֽעֲלֽוֹת׃ H4609 לֹ֣א H3808 כִ֔י H3588 return יָשׁ֥וּב H7725 for the shadow הַצֵּ֛ל H6738 backward אֲחֹֽרַנִּ֖ית H322 ten עֶ֥שֶׂר H6235 degrees מַֽעֲלֽוֹת׃ H4609 11 cried וַיִּקְרָ֛א H7121 And Isaiah יְשַׁעְיָ֥הוּ H3470 the prophet הַנָּבִ֖יא H5030 אֶל H413 unto the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 and he brought וַיָּ֣שֶׁב H7725 אֶת H853 the shadow הַצֵּ֗ל H6738 בַּֽ֠מַּעֲלוֹת H4600 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 which it had gone down יָֽרְדָ֜ה H3381 by מַֽעֲלֽוֹת׃ H4609 of Ahaz אָחָ֛ז H271 backward אֲחֹֽרַנִּ֖ית H322 ten עֶ֥שֶׂר H6235 by מַֽעֲלֽוֹת׃ H4609 12 At that time בָּעֵ֣ת H6256 הַהִ֡יא H1931 sent שָׁלַ֡ח H7971 בְּרֹאדַ֣ךְ H0 Berodachbaladan בַּ֠לְאֲדָן H1255 the son בֶּֽן H1121 of Baladan בַּלְאֲדָ֧ן H1081 king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Babylon בָּבֶ֛ל H894 letters סְפָרִ֥ים H5612 and a present וּמִנְחָ֖ה H4503 אֶל H413 that Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּֽהוּ׃ H2396 כִּ֣י H3588 for he had heard שָׁמַ֔ע H8085 כִּ֥י H3588 had been sick חָלָ֖ה H2470 that Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּֽהוּ׃ H2396 13 hearkened וַיִּשְׁמַ֣ע H8085 עֲלֵיהֶם֮ H5921 And Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּ֛הוּ H2396 shewed הֶרְאָ֧ם H7200 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 and all the house בְּבֵית֖וֹ H1004 of his precious things נְכֹתֹ֡ה H5238 אֶת H853 the silver הַכֶּסֶף֩ H3701 וְאֶת H853 and the gold הַזָּהָ֨ב H2091 וְאֶת H853 and the spices הַבְּשָׂמִ֜ים H1314 וְאֵ֣ת׀ H853 ointment שֶׁ֣מֶן H8081 and the precious הַטּ֗וֹב H2896 וְאֵת֙ H853 and all the house בְּבֵית֖וֹ H1004 of his armour כֵּלָ֔יו H3627 וְאֵ֛ת H853 כָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 and all that was found נִמְצָ֖א H4672 in his treasures בְּאֽוֹצְרֹתָ֑יו H214 לֹֽא H3808 הָיָ֣ה H1961 there was nothing דָבָ֗ר H1697 אֲ֠שֶׁר H834 לֹֽא H3808 shewed הֶרְאָ֧ם H7200 And Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּ֛הוּ H2396 and all the house בְּבֵית֖וֹ H1004 וּבְכָל H3605 nor in all his dominion מֶמְשַׁלְתּֽוֹ׃ H4475 14 Then came בָּ֖אוּ H935 Isaiah יְשַׁעְיָ֣הוּ H3470 the prophet הַנָּבִ֔יא H5030 אֶל H413 unto king הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ H2396 and said וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 אֵלָ֜יו H413 מָ֥ה H4100 and said וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֣ים H376 הָאֵ֗לֶּה H428 and from whence וּמֵאַ֙יִן֙ H370 Then came בָּ֖אוּ H935 אֵלֶ֔יךָ H413 and said וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּ֔הוּ H2396 country מֵאֶ֧רֶץ H776 from a far רְחוֹקָ֛ה H7350 Then came בָּ֖אוּ H935 even from Babylon מִבָּבֶֽל׃ H894 15 And he said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 מָ֥ה H4100 What have they seen הִרְאִיתִ֖ם H7200 All the things that are in mine house בְּבֵיתִי֙ H1004 And he said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּ֗הוּ H2396 אֵ֣ת H853 כָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 All the things that are in mine house בְּבֵיתִי֙ H1004 What have they seen הִרְאִיתִ֖ם H7200 לֹֽא H3808 הָיָ֥ה H1961 there is nothing דָבָ֛ר H1697 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 What have they seen הִרְאִיתִ֖ם H7200 among my treasures בְּאֹֽצְרֹתָֽי׃ H214 16 said וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 And Isaiah יְשַׁעְיָ֖הוּ H3470 אֶל H413 unto Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּ֑הוּ H2396 Hear שְׁמַ֖ע H8085 the word דְּבַר H1697 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 17 הִנֵּה֮ H2009 Behold the days הַיּ֥וֹם H3117 come בָּאִים֒ H935 shall be carried וְנִשָּׂ֣א׀ H5375 כָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 that all that is in thine house בְּבֵיתֶ֗ךָ H1004 וַֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 have laid up in store אָֽצְר֧וּ H686 and that which thy fathers אֲבֹתֶ֛יךָ H1 עַד H5704 Behold the days הַיּ֥וֹם H3117 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 into Babylon בָּבֶ֑לָה H894 לֹֽא H3808 shall be left יִוָּתֵ֥ר H3498 nothing דָּבָ֖ר H1697 saith אָמַ֥ר H559 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 18 And of thy sons וּמִבָּנֶ֜יךָ H1121 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 that shall issue יֵֽצְא֧וּ H3318 מִמְּךָ֛ H4480 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 from thee which thou shalt beget תּוֹלִ֖יד H3205 shall they take away יִקָּ֑חּ H3947 וְהָיוּ֙ H1961 and they shall be eunuchs סָֽרִיסִ֔ים H5631 in the palace בְּהֵיכַ֖ל H1964 of the king מֶ֥לֶךְ H4428 of Babylon בָּבֶֽל׃ H894 19 And he said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ H2396 אֶֽל H413 unto Isaiah יְשַׁעְיָ֔הוּ H3470 Good ט֥וֹב H2896 is the word דְּבַר H1697 of the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which thou hast spoken דִּבַּ֑רְתָּ H1696 And he said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 הֲל֛וֹא H3808 אִם H518 Is it not good if peace שָׁל֥וֹם H7965 and truth וֶֽאֱמֶ֖ת H571 יִֽהְיֶ֥ה H1961 be in my days בְיָמָֽי׃ H3117 20 And the rest וְיֶ֨תֶר H3499 of the acts דִּבְרֵ֥י H1697 of Hezekiah חִזְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ H2396 וְכָל H3605 and all his might גְּב֣וּרָת֔וֹ H1369 וַֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 and how he made עָשָׂ֗ה H6213 אֶת H853 a pool הַבְּרֵכָה֙ H1295 וְאֶת H853 and a conduit הַתְּעָלָ֔ה H8585 and brought וַיָּבֵ֥א H935 אֶת H853 water הַמַּ֖יִם H4325 into the city הָעִ֑ירָה H5892 הֲלֹא H3808 הֵ֣ם H1992 are they not written כְּתוּבִ֗ים H3789 עַל H5921 in the book סֵ֛פֶר H5612 of the acts דִּבְרֵ֥י H1697 הַיָּמִ֖ים H3117 of the kings לְמַלְכֵ֥י H4428 of Judah יְהוּדָֽה׃ H3063 21 slept וַיִּשְׁכַּ֥ב H7901 And Hezekiah
