into the hand יַד֙ H3027 it to the doers לְעֹשֵׂ֤י H6213 of the work הַמְּלָאכָה֙ H4399 that have the oversight הַמֻּפְקָדִ֖ים H6485 of the house הַבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 And let them deliver וְיִתְּנ֣וּ H5414 אֹת֗וֹ H853 it to the doers לְעֹשֵׂ֤י H6213 of the work הַמְּלָאכָה֙ H4399 אֲשֶׁר֙ H834 of the house הַבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 to repair לְחַזֵּ֖ק H2388 the breaches בֶּ֥דֶק H919 of the house הַבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 6 Unto carpenters לֶחָ֣רָשִׁ֔ים H2796 and builders וְלַבֹּנִ֖ים H1129 and masons וְלַגֹּֽדְרִ֑ים H1443 and to buy וְלִקְנ֤וֹת H7069 timber עֵצִים֙ H6086 stone וְאַבְנֵ֣י H68 and hewn מַחְצֵ֔ב H4274 to repair לְחַזֵּ֖ק H2388 אֶת H853 the house הַבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 7 אַ֚ךְ H389 לֹֽא H3808 Howbeit there was no reckoning made יֵֽחָשֵׁ֣ב H2803 אִתָּ֔ם H854 with them of the money הַכֶּ֖סֶף H3701 that was delivered הַנִּתָּ֣ן H5414 עַל H5921 into their hand יָדָ֑ם H3027 כִּ֥י H3588 faithfully בֶֽאֱמוּנָ֖ה H530 הֵ֥ם H1992 because they dealt עֹשִֽׂים׃ H6213 8 said וַ֠יֹּאמֶר H559 And Hilkiah חִלְקִיָּ֧ה H2518 priest הַכֹּהֵ֤ן H3548 the high הַגָּדוֹל֙ H1419 עַל H5921 to Shaphan שָׁפָ֖ן H8227 the scribe הַסֹּפֵ֔ר H5608 the book הַסֵּ֛פֶר H5612 of the law הַתּוֹרָ֛ה H8451 I have found מָצָ֖אתִי H4672 in the house בְּבֵ֣ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 gave וַיִּתֵּ֨ן H5414 And Hilkiah חִלְקִיָּ֧ה H2518 אֶת H853 the book הַסֵּ֛פֶר H5612 אֶל H413 to Shaphan שָׁפָ֖ן H8227 and he read וַיִּקְרָאֵֽהוּ׃ H7121 9 came וַיָּבֹ֞א H935 And Shaphan שָׁפָ֤ן H8227 the scribe הַסֹּפֵר֙ H5608 אֶל H413 the king הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 again וַיָּ֥שֶׁב H7725 אֶת H853 the king הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 word דָּבָ֑ר H1697 and said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 have gathered הִתִּ֤יכוּ H5413 Thy servants עֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ H5650 אֶת H853 the money הַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ H3701 that was found הַנִּמְצָ֣א H4672 in the house בֵּ֥ית H1004 and have delivered וַֽיִּתְּנֻ֗הוּ H5414 עַל H5921 it into the hand יַד֙ H3027 of them that do עֹשֵׂ֣י H6213 the work הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה H4399 that have the oversight הַמֻּפְקָדִ֖ים H6485 in the house בֵּ֥ית H1004 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 10 shewed וַיַּגֵּ֞ד H5046 And Shaphan שָׁפָ֖ן H8227 the scribe הַסֹּפֵר֙ H5608 the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 saying לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 me a book סֵ֚פֶר H5612 hath delivered נָ֣תַן H5414 לִ֔י H0 Hilkiah חִלְקִיָּ֖ה H2518 the priest הַכֹּהֵ֑ן H3548 read וַיִּקְרָאֵ֥הוּ H7121 And Shaphan שָׁפָ֖ן H8227 it before לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 11 וַֽיְהִי֙ H1961 had heard כִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ H8085 And it came to pass when the king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 אֶת H853 the words דִּבְרֵ֖י H1697 of the book סֵ֣פֶר H5612 of the law הַתּוֹרָ֑ה H8451 that he rent וַיִּקְרַ֖ע H7167 אֶת H853 his clothes בְּגָדָֽיו׃ H899 12 commanded וַיְצַ֣ו H6680 And the king הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 אֶת H853 Hilkiah חִלְקִיָּ֣ה H2518 the priest הַכֹּהֵ֡ן H3548 וְאֶת H853 and Ahikam אֲחִיקָ֣ם H296 the son בֶּן H1121 and Shaphan שָׁפָ֣ן H8227 וְאֶת H853 and Achbor עַכְבּ֨וֹר H5907 the son בֶּן H1121 of Michaiah מִֽיכָיָ֜ה H4320 וְאֵ֣ת׀ H853 and Shaphan שָׁפָ֣ן H8227 the scribe הַסֹּפֵ֗ר H5608 וְאֵ֛ת H853 and Asahiah עֲשָׂיָ֥ה H6222 a servant עֶֽבֶד H5650 And the king הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H559 13 לְכוּ֩ H1980 ye enquire דִרְשׁ֨וּ H1875 אֶת H853 of the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 בַּֽעֲדִ֣י H1157 וּבְעַד H1157 for me and for the people הָעָ֗ם H5971 וּבְעַד֙ H1157 כָּל H3605 and for all Judah יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 עַל H5921 concerning the words דִּבְרֵי֙ H1697 of this book הַסֵּ֣פֶר H5612 that is found הַנִּמְצָ֖א H4672 הַזֶּ֑ה H2088 כִּֽי H3588 for great גְדוֹלָ֞ה H1419 is the wrath חֲמַ֣ת H2534 of the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 אֲשֶׁר H834 הִיא֙ H1931 that is kindled נִצְּתָ֣ה H3341 בָ֔נוּ H0 עַל֩ H5921 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 have not hearkened שָׁמְע֜וּ H8085 against us because our fathers אֲבֹתֵ֗ינוּ H1 עַל H5921 concerning the words דִּבְרֵי֙ H1697 of this book הַסֵּ֣פֶר H5612 הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 to do לַֽעֲשׂ֖וֹת H6213 כְּכָל H3605 according unto all that which is written הַכָּת֥וּב H3789 עָלֵֽינוּ׃ H5921 14 וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ H1980 So Hilkiah חִלְקִיָּ֣הוּ H2518 the priest הַ֠כֹּהֵן H3548 and Ahikam וַֽאֲחִיקָ֨ם H296 and Achbor וְעַכְבּ֜וֹר H5907 and Shaphan וְשָׁפָ֣ן H8227 and Asahiah וַֽעֲשָׂיָ֗ה H6222 אֶל H413 unto Huldah חֻלְדָּ֨ה H2468 the prophetess הַנְּבִיאָ֜ה H5031 the wife אֵ֣שֶׁת׀ H802 of Shallum שַׁלֻּ֣ם H7967 the son בֶּן H1121 of Tikvah תִּקְוָ֗ה H8616 the son בֶּן H1121 of Harhas חַרְחַס֙ H2745 keeper שֹׁמֵ֣ר H8104 of the wardrobe הַבְּגָדִ֔ים H899 וְהִ֛יא H1931 now she dwelt יֹשֶׁ֥בֶת H3427 in Jerusalem בִּירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם H3389 in the college בַּמִּשְׁנֶ֑ה H4932 and they communed וַֽיְדַבְּר֖וּ H1696 אֵלֶֽיהָ׃ H413 15 And she said אִמְר֣וּ H559 אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם H413 כֹּֽה H3541 And she said אִמְר֣וּ H559 the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 God אֱלֹהֵ֣י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 And she said אִמְר֣וּ H559 the man לָאִ֔ישׁ H376 אֲשֶׁר H834 that sent שָׁלַ֥ח H7971 אֶתְכֶ֖ם H853 אֵלָֽי׃ H413 16 כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus saith אָמַ֣ר H559 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 הִנְנִ֨י H2005 Behold I will bring מֵבִ֥יא H935 evil רָעָ֛ה H7451 אֶל H413 upon this place הַמָּק֥וֹם H4725 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 וְעַל H5921 and upon the inhabitants יֹֽשְׁבָ֑יו H3427 אֵ֚ת H853 כָּל H3605 thereof even all the words דִּבְרֵ֣י H1697 of the book הַסֵּ֔פֶר H5612 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 hath read קָרָ֖א H7121 which the king מֶ֥לֶךְ H4428 of Judah יְהוּדָֽה׃ H3063 17 תַּ֣חַת׀ H8478 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 Because they have forsaken עֲזָב֗וּנִי H5800 me and have burned incense וַֽיְקַטְּרוּ֙ H6999 gods לֵֽאלֹהִ֣ים H430 unto other אֲחֵרִ֔ים H312 לְמַ֙עַן֙ H4616 that they might provoke me to anger הַכְעִיסֵ֔נִי H3707 בְּכֹ֖ל H3605 with all the works מַֽעֲשֵׂ֣ה H4639 of their hands יְדֵיהֶ֑ם H3027 shall be kindled וְנִצְּתָ֧ה H3341 therefore my wrath חֲמָתִ֛י H2534 against this place בַּמָּק֥וֹם H4725 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 וְלֹ֥א H3808 and shall not be quenched תִכְבֶּֽה׃ H3518 18 וְאֶל H413 But to the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה H3063 which sent הַשֹּׁלֵ֤חַ H7971 אֶתְכֶם֙ H853 you to enquire לִדְרֹ֣שׁ H1875 אֶת H853 of the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 כֹּ֥ה H3541 thus shall ye say אָמַ֤ר H559 אֵלָ֑יו H413 כֹּֽה H3541 thus shall ye say אָמַ֤ר H559 of the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 God אֱלֹהֵ֣י H430 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 As touching the words הַדְּבָרִ֖ים H1697 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which thou hast heard שָׁמָֽעְתָּ׃ H8085 19 יַ֠עַן H3282 was tender רַךְ H7401 Because thine heart לְבָ֨בְךָ֜ H3824 and thou hast humbled וַתִּכָּנַ֣ע׀ H3665 before לְפָנָ֑י H6440 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 me I also have heard שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי H8085 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 what I spake דִּבַּרְתִּי֩ H1696 עַל H5921 against this place הַמָּק֨וֹם H4725 הַזֶּ֜ה H2088 וְעַל H5921 and against the inhabitants יֹֽשְׁבָ֗יו H3427 לִֽהְי֤וֹת H1961 thereof that they should become a desolation לְשַׁמָּה֙ H8047 and a curse וְלִקְלָלָ֔ה H7045 and hast rent וַתִּקְרַע֙ H7167 אֶת H853 thy clothes בְּגָדֶ֔יךָ H899 and wept וַתִּבְכֶּ֖ה H1058 before לְפָנָ֑י H6440 וְגַ֧ם H1571 אָֽנֹכִ֛י H595 me I also have heard שָׁמַ֖עְתִּי H8085 thee saith נְאֻם H5002 the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 20 לָכֵן֩ H3651 הִנְנִ֨י H2005 Behold therefore I will gather וְנֶֽאֱסַפְתָּ֣ H622 עַל H5921 thee unto thy fathers אֲבֹתֶ֗יךָ H1 Behold therefore I will gather וְנֶֽאֱסַפְתָּ֣ H622 אֶל H413 into thy grave
