תַחְתָּ֖יו H8478 אֶל H413 it under him on the top גֶּ֣רֶם H1634 of the stairs הַֽמַּעֲל֑וֹת H4609 and blew וַֽיִּתְקְעוּ֙ H8628 with trumpets בַּשּׁוֹפָ֔ר H7782 saying וַיֹּֽאמְר֖וּ H559 is king Jezreel בְּיִזְרְעֶֽאל׃ H3157 מִן H4480 of the wounds הַמַּכִּים֙ H4347 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 had given יַכֻּ֣הוּ H5221 which the Syrians אֲרַמִּ֔ים H761 him when he fought בְּהִלָּ֣חֲמ֔וֹ H3898 אֶת H854 with Hazael חֲזָאֵ֖ל H2371 But king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Syria אֲרָ֑ם H758 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 And Jehu יֵהוּא֙ H3058 אִם H518 If it be יֵ֣שׁ H3426 your minds נַפְשְׁכֶ֔ם H5315 then let none אַל H408 go forth יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 was come down יָרַ֖ד H3381 to see לִרְא֥וֹת H7200 אֶת H853 Joram יוֹרָֽם׃ H3141 17 a watchman וְהַצֹּפֶה֩ H6822 And there stood עֹמֵ֨ד H5975 עַֽל H5921 on the tower הַמִּגְדָּ֜ל H4026 in Jezreel בְּיִזְרְעֶ֗אל H3157 I see רֹאֶ֑ה H7200 אֶת H853 a company שִׁפְעַ֖ת H8229 of Jehu יֵהוּא֙ H3058 as he came בְּבֹא֔וֹ H935 and said וְיֹאמַ֥ר H559 a company שִׁפְעַ֖ת H8229 אֲנִ֣י H589 I see רֹאֶ֑ה H7200 and said וְיֹאמַ֥ר H559 And Joram יְהוֹרָ֗ם H3088 Take קַ֥ח H3947 an horseman רַכָּ֛ב H7395 and send וּֽשְׁלַ֥ח H7971 to meet לִקְרָאתָ֖ם H7125 and said וְיֹאמַ֥ר H559 Is it peace הֲשָׁלֽוֹם׃ H7965 18 וַיֵּלֶךְ֩ H1980 one on horseback רֹכֵ֨ב H7392 הַסּ֜וּס H5483 to meet לִקְרָאת֗וֹ H7125 Thus saith לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 כֹּֽה H3541 Thus saith לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 the king הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 Is it peace וּלְשָׁל֖וֹם H7965 Thus saith לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 And Jehu יֵה֛וּא H3058 מַה H4100 לְּךָ֥ H0 Is it peace וּלְשָׁל֖וֹם H7965 turn סֹ֣ב H5437 אֶֽל H413 thee behind אַחֲרָ֑י H310 told וַיַּגֵּ֤ד H5046 me And the watchman הַצֹּפֶה֙ H6822 Thus saith לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 came בָּֽא H935 The messenger הַמַּלְאָ֥ךְ H4397 עַד H5704 הֵ֖ם H1992 וְלֹא H3808 to them but he cometh not again שָֽׁב׃ H7725 19 Then he sent out וַיִּשְׁלַ֗ח H7971 on horseback רֹכֵ֣ב H7392 סוּס֮ H5483 a second שֵׁנִי֒ H8145 which came וַיָּבֹ֣א H935 אֲלֵהֶ֔ם H413 Thus saith וַיֹּ֧אמֶר H559 כֹּֽה H3541 Thus saith וַיֹּ֧אמֶר H559 the אַחֲרָֽי׃ H310 20 told וַיַּגֵּ֤ד H5046 And the watchman הַצֹּפֶה֙ H6822 saying לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 He came בָּ֥א H935 עַד H5704 אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם H413 וְלֹא H3808 even unto them and cometh not again שָׁ֑ב H7725 and the driving כְּמִנְהַג֙ H4491 and the driving כְּמִנְהַג֙ H4491 of Jehu יֵה֣וּא H3058 the son בֶן H1121 of Nimshi נִמְשִׁ֔י H5250 כִּ֥י H3588 furiously בְשִׁגָּע֖וֹן H7697 for he driveth יִנְהָֽג׃ H5090 21 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 And Joram יְהוֹרָ֣ם H3088 Make ready וַיֶּאְסֹ֖ר H631 Make ready וַיֶּאְסֹ֖ר H631 And his chariot בְּרִכְבּ֗וֹ H7393 and they went out וַיֵּֽצְאוּ֙ H3318 And Joram יְהוֹרָ֣ם H3088 king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Israel יִ֠שְׂרָאֵל H3478 and Ahaziah וַֽאֲחַזְיָ֨הוּ H274 king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Judah יְהוּדָ֜ה H3063 each אִ֣ישׁ H376 And his chariot בְּרִכְבּ֗וֹ H7393 and they went out וַיֵּֽצְאוּ֙ H3318 against לִקְרַ֣את H7125 Jehu יֵה֔וּא H3058 and met וַיִּמְצָאֻ֔הוּ H4672 him in the portion בְּחֶלְקַ֖ת H2513 of Naboth נָב֥וֹת H5022 the Jezreelite הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִֽי׃ H3158 22 וַיְהִ֗י H1961 saw כִּרְא֤וֹת H7200 And it came to pass when Joram יְהוֹרָם֙ H3088 אֶת H853 Jehu יֵה֑וּא H3058 And he answered וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 Is it peace הַשָּׁל֔וֹם H7965 Jehu יֵה֑וּא H3058 And he answered וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 מָ֣ה H4100 Is it peace הַשָּׁל֔וֹם H7965 so long as עַד H5704 the whoredoms זְנוּנֵ֞י H2183 Jezebel אִיזֶ֧בֶל H348 of thy mother אִמְּךָ֛ H517 and her witchcrafts וּכְשָׁפֶ֖יהָ H3785 are so many הָֽרַבִּֽים׃ H7227 23 turned וַיַּֽהֲפֹ֧ךְ H2015 And Joram יְהוֹרָ֛ם H3088 his hands יָדָ֖יו H3027 and fled וַיָּנֹ֑ס H5127 and said וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 אֶל H413 O Ahaziah אֲחַזְיָֽה׃ H274 There is treachery מִרְמָ֥ה H4820 O Ahaziah אֲחַזְיָֽה׃ H274 24 And Jehu וְיֵה֞וּא H3058 with his full מִלֵּ֧א H4390 strength יָד֣וֹ H3027 drew a bow בַקֶּ֗שֶׁת H7198 and smote וַיַּ֤ךְ H5221 אֶת H853 Jehoram יְהוֹרָם֙ H3088 בֵּ֣ין H996 between his arms זְרֹעָ֔יו H2220 went out וַיֵּצֵ֥א H3318 and the arrow הַחֵ֖צִי H2678 at his heart מִלִּבּ֑וֹ H3820 and he sunk down וַיִּכְרַ֖ע H3766 in his chariot בְּרִכְבּֽוֹ׃ H7393 25 Then said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 אֶל H413 Jehu to Bidkar בִּדְקַר֙ H920 his captain שָׁלִשֹׁ֔ה H7991 Take up נָשָׂ֣א H5375 and cast הַשְׁלִכֵ֔הוּ H7993 him in the portion בְּחֶלְקַ֕ת H2513 of the field שְׂדֵ֖ה H7704 of Naboth נָב֣וֹת H5022 the Jezreelite הַיִּזְרְעֵאלִ֑י H3158 כִּֽי H3588 for remember זְכֹ֞ר H2142 אֲנִ֣י H589 וָאַ֗תָּה H859 אֵ֣ת H853 how that when I and thou rode רֹֽכְבִ֤ים H7392 together צְמָדִים֙ H6776 after אַֽחֲרֵי֙ H310 Ahab אַחְאָ֣ב H256 his father אָבִ֔יו H1 the LORD וַֽיהוָה֙ H3068 Take up נָשָׂ֣א H5375 עָלָ֔יו H5921 אֶת H853 this burden הַמַּשָּׂ֖א H4853 הַזֶּֽה׃ H2088 26 אִם H518 לֹ֡א H3808 אֶת H853 and the blood דְּמֵ֨י H1818 of Naboth נָבוֹת֩ H5022 וְאֶת H853 and the blood דְּמֵ֨י H1818 of his sons בָנָ֜יו H1121 Surely I have seen רָאִ֤יתִי H7200 yesterday אֶ֙מֶשׁ֙ H570 saith נְאֻם H5002 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 and I will requite וְשִׁלַּמְתִּ֥י H7999 לְךָ֛ H0 him into the plat בַּחֶלְקָ֖ה H2513 הַזֹּ֖את H2063 saith נְאֻם H5002 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 וְעַתָּ֗ה H6258 Now therefore take שָׂ֧א H5375 and cast הַשְׁלִכֵ֛הוּ H7993 him into the plat בַּחֶלְקָ֖ה H2513 of ground according to the word כִּדְבַ֥ר H1697 of the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 27 But when Ahaziah וַֽאֲחַזְיָ֤ה H274 the king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Judah יְהוּדָה֙ H3063 saw רָאָ֔ה H7200 And he fled וַיָּ֥נָס H5127 by the way דֶּ֖רֶךְ H1870 house בֵּ֣ית H1004 of the garden הַגָּ֑ן H1588 followed וַיִּרְדֹּ֨ף H7291 after אַֽחֲרָ֜יו H310 And Jehu יֵה֗וּא H3058 him and said וַ֠יֹּאמֶר H559 גַּם H1571 אֹת֞וֹ H853 Smite הַכֻּ֣הוּ H5221 אֶל H413 him also in the chariot הַמֶּרְכָּבָ֗ה H4818 And they did so at the going up בְּמַֽעֲלֵה H4608 to Gur גוּר֙ H1483 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 אֶֽת H853 which is by Ibleam יִבְלְעָ֔ם H2991 And he fled וַיָּ֥נָס H5127 to Megiddo מְגִדּ֖וֹ H4023 and died וַיָּ֥מָת H4191 שָֽׁם׃ H8033 28 carried וַיַּרְכִּ֧בוּ H7392 אֹת֛וֹ H853 And his servants עֲבָדָ֖יו H5650 him in a chariot to Jerusalem יְרוּשָׁלְָ֑מָה H3389 and buried וַיִּקְבְּר֨וּ H6912 אֹת֧וֹ H853 him in his sepulchre בִקְבֻֽרָת֛וֹ H6900 עִם H5973 with his fathers אֲבֹתָ֖יו H1 in the city בְּעִ֥יר H5892 of David דָּוִֽד׃ H1732 29 year שָׁנָ֔ה H8141 And in the eleventh אַחַ֣ת H259 עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה H6240 year שָׁנָ֔ה H8141 of Joram לְיוֹרָ֖ם H3141 the son בֶּן H1121 of Ahab אַחְאָ֑ב H256 to reign מָלַ֥ךְ H4427 began Ahaziah אֲחַזְיָ֖ה H274 עַל H5921 over Judah יְהוּדָֽה׃ H3063 30 was come וַיָּב֥וֹא H935 And when Jehu יֵה֖וּא H3058 to Jezreel יִזְרְעֶ֑אלָה H3157 Jezebel וְאִיזֶ֣בֶל H348 heard שָֽׁמְעָ֗ה H8085 of it and she painted וַתָּ֨שֶׂם H7760 בַּפּ֤וּךְ H6320 her face עֵינֶ֙יהָ֙ H5869 and tired וַתֵּ֣יטֶב H3190 אֶת H853 her head רֹאשָׁ֔הּ H7218 and looked out וַתַּשְׁקֵ֖ף H8259 בְּעַ֥ד H1157 at a window הַֽחַלּֽוֹן׃ H2474 31 And as Jehu וְיֵה֖וּא H3058 entered in בָּ֣א H935 at the gate בַשָּׁ֑עַר H8179 she said וַתֹּ֣אמֶר H559 peace הֲשָׁל֔וֹם H7965 Had Zimri זִמְרִ֖י H2174 who slew הֹרֵ֥ג H2026 his master אֲדֹנָֽיו׃ H113 32 And he lifted up וַיִּשָּׂ֤א H5375 his face פָנָיו֙ H6440 אֶל H413 to the window הַ֣חַלּ֔וֹן H2474 and said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 מִ֥י H4310 אִתִּ֖י H854 מִ֑י H4310 Who is on my side who And there looked out
