And I gave וָֽאֶתְּנָ֣ה H5414 לְךָ֔ H0 אֶת H853 house בֵּ֥ית H1004 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 and of Judah וִֽיהוּדָ֑ה H3063 וְאִ֨ם H518 and if that had been too little מְעָ֔ט H4592 I would moreover have given וְאֹסִ֥פָה H3254 לְּךָ֖ H0 and such things וְכָהֵֽנָּה׃ H2007 and such things וְכָהֵֽנָּה׃ H2007 9 מַדּ֜וּעַ H4069 Wherefore hast thou despised בָּזִ֣יתָ׀ H959 אֶת H853 the commandment דְּבַ֣ר H1697 of the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 to do לַֽעֲשׂ֣וֹת H6213 evil הָרַע֮ H7451 in his sight בְּעֵינַו֒ H5869 אֵ֣ת H853 Uriah אֽוּרִיָּ֤ה H223 the Hittite הַֽחִתִּי֙ H2850 thou hast killed הִכִּ֣יתָ H5221 him with the sword בְּחֶ֖רֶב H2719 וְאֶ֨ת H853 his wife לְאִשָּׁ֑ה H802 and hast taken לָקַ֥חְתָּ H3947 לְּךָ֖ H0 his wife לְאִשָּׁ֑ה H802 וְאֹת֣וֹ H853 and hast slain הָרַ֔גְתָּ H2026 him with bare יָֽלְדָ֧ה H3205 wife אֵֽשֶׁת H802 that Uriah's אוּרִיָּ֛ה H223 unto David לְדָוִ֖ד H1732 and it was very sick וַיֵּֽאָנַֽשׁ׃ H605 16 therefore besought וַיְבַקֵּ֥שׁ H1245 David דָּוִד֙ H1732 אֶת H853 God הָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 בְּעַ֣ד H1157 for the child הַנָּ֑עַר H5288 fasted וַיָּ֤צָם H6684 David דָּוִד֙ H1732 צ֔וֹם H6685 and went in וּבָ֥א H935 all night וְלָ֖ן H3885 and lay וְשָׁכַ֥ב H7901 H3117 And it came to pass on the seventh הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י H7637 died מֵ֥ת H4191 Behold while the child הַיֶּ֖לֶד H3206 feared וַיִּֽרְאוּ֩ H3372 And the servants עַבְדֵ֨י H5650 of David דָוִ֜ד H1732 to tell לְהַגִּ֥יד H5046 ל֣וֹ׀ H0 כִּי H3588 died מֵ֥ת H4191 Behold while the child הַיֶּ֖לֶד H3206 כִּ֤י H3588 for they said נֹאמַ֥ר H559 הִנֵּה֩ H2009 בִֽהְי֨וֹת H1961 Behold while the child הַיֶּ֖לֶד H3206 was yet alive חַ֗י H2416 we spake דִּבַּ֤רְנוּ H1696 אֵלָיו֙ H413 וְלֹֽא H3808 unto him and he would not hearken שָׁמַ֣ע H8085 unto our voice בְּקוֹלֵ֔נוּ H6963 וְאֵ֨יךְ H349 for they said נֹאמַ֥ר H559 אֵלָ֛יו H413 died מֵ֥ת H4191 Behold while the child הַיֶּ֖לֶד H3206 himself וְעָשָׂ֥ה H6213 vex רָעָֽה׃ H7451 19 saw וַיַּ֣רְא H7200 But when David דָּוִ֧ד H1732 כִּ֤י H3588 that his servants עֲבָדָ֛יו H5650 whispered מִֽתְלַחֲשִׁ֔ים H3907 perceived וַיָּ֥בֶן H995 But when David דָּוִ֧ד H1732 כִּ֣י H3588 He is dead מֵֽת׃ H4191 Is the child הַיֶּ֖לֶד H3206 And they said H8071 and came וַיָּבֹא֙ H935 into the house בֵּית֔וֹ H1004 of the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 and worshipped וַיִּשְׁתָּ֑חוּ H7812 and came וַיָּבֹא֙ H935 אֶל H413 into the house בֵּית֔וֹ H1004 and when he required וַיִּשְׁאַ֕ל H7592 they set וַיָּשִׂ֥ימוּ H7760 ל֛וֹ H0 bread לֶ֖חֶם H3899 before him and he did eat וַיֹּאכַֽל׃ H398 21 Then said וַיֹּֽאמְר֤וּ H559 his servants עֲבָדָיו֙ H5650 אֵלָ֔יו H413 מָֽה H4100 unto him What thing הַדָּבָ֥ר H1697 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 is this that thou hast done עָשִׂ֑יתָה H6213 בַּֽעֲב֞וּר H5668 but when the child הַיֶּ֔לֶד H3206 while it was alive חַי֙ H2416 thou didst fast צַ֣מְתָּ H6684 and weep וַתֵּ֔בְךְּ H1058 וְכַֽאֲשֶׁר֙ H834 was dead מֵ֣ת H4191 but when the child הַיֶּ֔לֶד H3206 thou didst rise קַ֖מְתָּ H6965 and eat וַתֹּ֥אכַל H398 bread לָֽחֶם׃ H3899 22 And he said אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ H559 בְּעוֹד֙ H5750 While the child הַיָּֽלֶד׃ H3206 may live וְחַ֥י H2416 I fasted צַ֖מְתִּי H6684 and wept וָֽאֶבְכֶּ֑ה H1058 כִּ֤י H3588 And he said אָמַ֙רְתִּי֙ H559 מִ֣י H4310 Who can tell יוֹדֵ֔עַ H3045 will be gracious יְחַנַּ֥נִי H2603 whether GOD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 may live וְחַ֥י H2416 While the child הַיָּֽלֶד׃ H3206 23 וְעַתָּ֣ה׀ H6258 But now H1571 and have taken לָכַ֖דְתִּי H3920 אֶת H853 the city עִ֥יר H5892 of waters הַמָּֽיִם׃ H4325 28 וְעַתָּ֗ה H6258 Now therefore gather אֱסֹף֙ H622 אֶת H853 the rest יֶ֣תֶר H3499 of the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 and encamp וַֽחֲנֵ֥ה H2583 עַל H5921 against the city הָעִ֔יר H5892 and take אֶלְכֹּ֤ד H3920 פֶּן H6435 and take אֶלְכֹּ֤ד H3920 אֲנִי֙ H589 אֶת H853 against the city הָעִ֔יר H5892 and it be מְאֹֽד׃ H3966 31 וְאֶת H853 and all the people הָעָ֖ם H5971 אֲשֶׁר H834 בָּ֜הּ H0 And he brought forth הוֹצִ֗יא H3318 that were therein and put וַיָּ֣שֶׂם H7760 them under saws בַּ֠מְּגֵרָה H4050 and
