וַיֵּ֙רֶד֙ H3381 עִם H5973 with the men אִ֣ישׁ H376 of Judah יְהוּדָ֔ה H3063 to meet לִקְרַ֖את H7125 king הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ H4428 David דָּוִֽד׃ H1732 17 And there were a thousand וְאֶ֨לֶף H505 men אִ֣ישׁ לִקְרַ֖את H7125 my lord אֲדֹנִ֥י H113 the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 21 answered וַיַּ֨עַן H6030 But Abishai אֲבִישַׁ֤י H52 the son בֶּן H1121 of Zeruiah צְרוּיָה֙ H6870 and said וַיֹּ֔אמֶר H559 הֲתַ֣חַת H8478 זֹ֔את H2063 לֹ֥א H3808 be put to death יוּמַ֖ת H4191 Shall not Shimei שִׁמְעִ֑י H8096 כִּ֥י H3588 for this because he cursed קִלֵּ֖ל H7043 אֶת H853 anointed מְשִׁ֥יחַ H4899 the LORD'S יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 22 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And David דָּוִ֗ד H1732 מַה H4100 לִּ֤י H0 וְלָכֶם֙ H0 What have I to do with you ye sons בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Zeruiah צְרוּיָ֔ה H6870 כִּֽי H3588 תִֽהְיוּ H1961 לִ֥י H0 that I am this day הַיּ֖וֹם H3117 be adversaries לְשָׂטָ֑ן H7854 that I am this day הַיּ֖וֹם H3117 be put to death י֤וּמַת H4191 unto me shall there any man אִישׁ֙ H376 in Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 כִּ֚י the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 אֶל H413 unto Shimei שִׁמְעִ֖י H8096 לֹ֣א H3808 Thou shalt not die תָמ֑וּת H4191 sware וַיִּשָּׁ֥בַֽע H7650 ל֖וֹ H0 And the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 24 And Mephibosheth וּמְפִבֹ֙שֶׁת֙ H4648 the son בֶּן H1121 of Saul שָׁא֔וּל H7586 came down יָרַ֖ד H3381 to meet לִקְרַ֣את H7125 the king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 and had neither לֹ֣א H3808 dressed עָשָׂ֣ה H6213 his feet רַגְלָ֜יו H7272 and had neither לֹ֣א H3808 dressed עָשָׂ֣ה H6213 his beard שְׂפָמ֗וֹ H8222 וְאֶת H853 his clothes בְּגָדָיו֙ H899 and had neither לֹ֣א H3808 nor washed כִבֵּ֔ס H3526 לְמִן H4480 from the day הַיּ֖וֹם H3117 לֶ֣כֶת H1980 the king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 עַד H5704 from the day הַיּ֖וֹם H3117 אֲשֶׁר H834 he came בָּ֥א H935 again in peace בְשָׁלֽוֹם׃ H7965 25 וַיְהִ֛י H1961 כִּי H3588 And it came to pass when he was come בָ֥א H935 to Jerusalem יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם H3389 to meet לִקְרַ֣את H7125 that the king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 לוֹ֙ H0 that the king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 לָ֛מָּה H4100 לֹֽא H3808 unto him Wherefore wentest הָלַ֥כְתָּ H1980 עִמִּ֖י H5973 not thou with me Mephibosheth מְפִיבֹֽשֶׁת׃ H4648 26 And he answered אָמַ֨ר H559 My lord אֲדֹנִ֥י H113 O king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 because thy servant עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃ H5650 deceived רִמָּ֑נִי H7411 כִּֽי H3588 And he answered אָמַ֨ר H559 because thy servant עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃ H5650 I will saddle אֶחְבְּשָׁה H2280 לִּי֩ H0 me an ass הַֽחֲמ֨וֹר H2543 that I may ride וְאֶרְכַּ֤ב H7392 עָלֶ֙יהָ֙ H5921 וְאֵלֵ֣ךְ H1980 אֶת H854 O king הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 כִּ֥י H3588 is lame פִסֵּ֖חַ H6455 because thy servant עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃ H5650 27 And he hath slandered וַיְרַגֵּ֣ל H7270 thy servant בְּעַבְדְּךָ֔ H5650 אֶל H413 but my lord וַֽאדֹנִ֤י H113 the king הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 but my lord וַֽאדֹנִ֤י H113 the king הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 is as an angel וּבַרְזִלַּי֙ H1271 the Gileadite הַגִּלְעָדִ֔י H1569 came down יָרַ֖ד H3381 from Rogelim מֵרֹֽגְלִ֑ים H7274 and went over וַיַּֽעֲבֹ֤ר H5674 אֶת H854 with the king הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 Jordan בַַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃ H3383 to conduct לְשַׁלְּח֖וֹ H7971 אֶת H853 Jordan בַַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃ H3383 32 Now Barzillai וּבַרְזִלַּי֙ H1271 aged זָקֵ֣ן H2204 for he was a very מְאֹֽד׃ H3966 old בֶּן H1121 man even
