H6440 And the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 answered וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 אֶל H413 It is for Saul שָׁאוּל֙ H7586 וְאֶל H413 house בֵּ֣ית H1004 and for his bloody הַדָּמִ֔ים H1818 עַל H5921 שָׁאֽוּל׃ H7586 8 took וַיִּקַּ֣ח H3947 But the king הַמֶּ֡לֶךְ H4428 אֶת H853 the two שְׁ֠נֵי H8147 sons בֶּן H1121 of Rizpah רִצְפָּ֤ה H7532 the daughter בַּת H1323 of Aiah אַיָּה֙ H345 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 whom she bare יָֽלְדָ֛ה H3205 of Saul שָׁא֔וּל H7586 אֶת H853 Armoni אַרְמֹנִ֖י H764 וְאֶת H853 and Mephibosheth מְפִבֹ֑שֶׁת H4648 וְאֶת H853 and the five חֲמֵ֗שֶׁת H2568 sons בֶּן H1121 of Michal הַמְּחֹֽלָתִֽי׃ H4259 9 And he delivered וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֞ם H5414 them into the hands בְּיַ֣ד H3027 of the Gibeonites הַגִּבְעֹנִ֗ים H1393 and they hanged וַיֹּֽקִיעֻ֤ם H3363 them in the hill בָּהָר֙ H2022 before לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 and they fell וַיִּפְּל֥וּ H5307 all seven שְׁבַעְתָּ֖ים H7651 together יָ֑חַד H3162 וְהֵ֨םָּ H1992 and were put to death הֻֽמְת֜וּ H4191 in the days בִּימֵ֤י H3117 harvest קְצִ֥יר H7105 in the first בָּרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים H7223 days in the beginning תְחִלַּ֖ת H8462 harvest קְצִ֥יר H7105 of barley שְׂעֹרִֽים׃ H8184 10 took וַתִּקַּ֣ח H3947 And Rizpah רִצְפָּה֩ H7532 the daughter בַת H1323 of Aiah אַיָּ֨ה H345 אֶת H853 sackcloth הַשַּׂ֜ק H8242 and spread וַתַּטֵּ֨הוּ H5186 לָ֤הּ H0 אֶל H413 it for her upon the rock הַצּוּר֙ H6697 from the beginning מִתְּחִלַּ֣ת H8462 of harvest קָצִ֔יר H7105 עַ֛ד H5704 dropped נִתַּךְ H5413 until water מַ֥יִם H4325 עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם H5921 מִן H4480 of the air הַשָּׁמַ֜יִם H8064 וְלֹֽא H3808 and suffered נָתְנָה֩ H5414 night לָֽיְלָה׃ H3915 11 And it was told וַיֻּגַּ֖ד H5046 David לְדָוִ֑ד H1732 אֵ֧ת H853 אֲשֶׁר H834 had done עָֽשְׂתָ֛ה H6213 what Rizpah רִצְפָּ֥ה H7532 the daughter בַת H1323 of Aiah אַיָּ֖ה H345 the concubine פִּלֶ֥גֶשׁ H6370 of Saul שָׁאֽוּל׃ H7586 12 וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ H1980 And David דָּוִ֗ד H1732 and took וַיִּקַּ֞ח H3947 אֶת H853 and the bones עַצְמוֹת֙ H6106 Saul שָׁא֖וּל H7586 וְאֶת H853 and the bones עַצְמוֹת֙ H6106 of Jonathan יְהֽוֹנָתָ֣ן H3083 his son בְּנ֔וֹ H1121 מֵאֵ֕ת H853 from the men בַּֽעֲלֵ֖י H1167 of Jabeshgilead יָבֵ֣ישׁ H3003 גִּלְעָ֑ד H1568 אֲשֶׁר֩ H834 which had stolen גָּֽנְב֨וּ H1589 אֹתָ֜ם H853 them from the street מֵֽרְחֹ֣ב H7339 בֵּֽית H0 of Bethshan שַׁ֗ן H1052 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 had hanged תְּלָוּ֥ם H8511 שָׁ֙םָּ֙ H8033 the Philistines פְּלִשְׁתִּ֛ים H6430 them when בְּי֨וֹם H3117 had slain הַכּ֧וֹת H5221 the Philistines פְּלִשְׁתִּ֛ים H6430 אֶת H853 Saul שָׁא֖וּל H7586 in Gilboa בַּגִּלְבֹּֽעַ׃ H1533 13 And he brought up וַיַּ֤עַל H5927 מִשָּׁם֙ H8033 אֶת H853 and the bones עַצְמ֖וֹת H6106 of Saul שָׁא֔וּל H7586 וְאֶת H853 and the bones עַצְמ֖וֹת H6106 of Jonathan יְהֽוֹנָתָ֣ן H3083 his son בְּנ֑וֹ H1121 and they gathered וַיַּ֣אַסְפ֔וּ H622 אֶת H853 and the bones עַצְמ֖וֹת H6106 of them that were hanged הַמּֽוּקָעִֽים׃ H3363 14 buried וַיִּקְבְּר֣וּ H6912 אֶת H853 And the bones עַצְמוֹת H6106 of Saul שָׁא֣וּל H7586 and Jonathan וִיהוֹנָֽתָן H3083 H3381 and David דָּוִֽד׃ H1732 and his servants וַֽעֲבָדָ֥יו H5650 עִמּ֛וֹ H5973 with him and fought וַיִּלָּֽחֲמ֥וּ H3898 אֶת H854 Moreover the Philistines פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים H6430 waxed faint וַיָּ֥עַף H5774 and David דָּוִֽד׃ H1732 16 וְיִשְׁבִּ֨ו H0 And Ishbibenob בְּנֹ֜ב H3430 אֲשֶׁ֣ר׀ H834 which was of the sons בִּֽילִידֵ֣י H3211 of the giant הָֽרָפָ֗ה H7497 in weight מִשְׁקַ֣ל H4948 of whose spear קֵינוֹ֙ H7013 weighed three שְׁלֹ֤שׁ H7969 hundred מֵאוֹת֙ H3967 in weight מִשְׁקַ֣ל H4948 shekels of brass נְחֹ֔שֶׁת H5178 וְה֖וּא H1931 he being girded חָג֣וּר H2296 with a new חֲדָשָׁ֑ה H2319 sword thought וַיֹּ֖אמֶר H559 to have slain לְהַכּ֥וֹת H5221 אֶת H853 David דָּוִֽד׃ H1732 17 succoured וַיַּֽעֲזָר H5826 לוֹ֙ H0 But Abishai אֲבִישַׁ֣י H52 the son בֶּן H1121 of Zeruiah צְרוּיָ֔ה H6870 him and smote וַיַּ֥ךְ H5221 אֶת H853 the Philistine הַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֖י H6430 and killed וַיְמִתֵ֑הוּ H4191 אָ֣ז H227 sware נִשְׁבְּעוּ֩ H7650 אַנְשֵׁי H376 of David דָוִ֨ד H1732 ל֜וֹ H0 unto him saying לֵאמֹ֗ר H559 לֹֽא H3808 Thou shalt go תֵצֵ֨א H3318 ע֤וֹד H5750 אִתָּ֙נוּ֙ H854 no more out with us to battle לַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה H4421 וְלֹ֥א H3808 that thou quench תְכַבֶּ֖ה H3518 אֶת H853 not the light נֵ֥ר H5216 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 18 וַֽיְהִי֙ H1961 And it came to pass after this אַֽחֲרֵי H310 כֵ֔ן H3651 וַתְּהִי H1961 ע֧וֹד H5750 that there was again a battle הַמִּלְחָמָ֛ה H4421 at Gob בְּג֖וֹב H1359 עִם H5973 with the Philistines פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים H6430 אָ֣ז H227 slew הִכָּ֗ה H5221 then Sibbechai סִבְּכַי֙ H5444 the Hushathite הַחֻ֣שָׁתִ֔י H2843 אֶת H853 Saph סַ֕ף H5593 אֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 which was of the sons בִּֽילִדֵ֥י H3211 of the giant הָֽרָפָֽה׃ H7497 19 וַתְּהִי H1961 ע֧וֹד H5750 And there was again a battle הַמִּלְחָמָ֛ה H4421 in Gob בְּג֖וֹב H1359 עִם H5973 with the Philistines פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים H6430 slew וַיַּ֡ךְ H5221 where Elhanan אֶלְחָנָן֩ H445 the son בֶּן H1121 יַעְרֵ֨י H0 of Jaareoregim אֹֽרְגִ֜ים H3296 בֵּ֣ית H0 a Bethlehemite הַלַּחְמִ֗י H1022 אֵ֚ת H853
