then in Bethlehem לָֽחֶם׃ H1035 15 longed וַיִּתְאַוֶּ֥ה H183 And David דָוִ֖ד H1732 and said וַיֹּאמַ֑ר H559 מִ֚י H4310 Oh that one would give me drink יַשְׁקֵ֣נִי H8248 of the water מַ֔יִם H4325 of the well מִבֹּ֥אר H953 בֵּֽית H0 of Bethlehem לֶ֖חֶם H1035 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which is by the gate בַּשָּֽׁעַר׃ H8179 16 brake through וַיִּבְקְעוּ֩ H1234 And the three שְׁלֹ֨שֶׁת H7969 mighty men הַגִּבֹּרִ֜ים H1368 the host בְּמַֽחֲנֵ֣ה H4264 of the Philistines פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים H6430 and drew וַיִּֽשְׁאֲבוּ H7579 water מַ֙יִם֙ H4325 out of the well מִבֹּ֤אר H953 בֵּֽית H0 of Bethlehem לֶ֙חֶם֙ H1035 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 that was by the gate בַּשַּׁ֔עַר H8179 and took וַיִּשְׂא֖וּ H5375 it and brought וַיָּבִ֣אוּ H935 אֶל H413 it to David דָּוִ֑ד H1732 וְלֹ֤א H3808 nevertheless he would אָבָה֙ H14 not drink לִשְׁתּוֹתָ֔ם H8354 thereof but poured it out וַיַּסֵּ֥ךְ H5258 אֹתָ֖ם H853 unto the LORD לַֽיהוָֽה׃ H3068 17 And he said וַיֹּ֡אמֶר H559 Be it far חָלִילָה֩ H2486 לִּ֨י H0 from me O LORD H1368 18 And Abishai וַֽאֲבִישַׁ֞י H52 the brother אֲחִ֣י׀ H251 of Joab יוֹאָ֣ב H3097 the son בֶּן H1121 of Zeruiah צְרוּיָ֗ה H6870 ה֚וּא H1931 was chief רֹ֣אשׁ H7218 among three הַשְּׁלֹשָׁ֔י H7992 H1368 23 מִן H4480 than the thirty הַשְּׁלֹשִׁ֣ים H7970 He was more honourable נִכְבָּ֔ד H3513 וְאֶל H413 not to the first three הַשְּׁלֹשָׁ֖ה H7969 לֹא H3808 but he attained בָ֑א H935 set
