and brought נֹֽשְׂאֵ֥י H5375 gifts מִנְחָֽה׃ H4503 3 smote וַיַּ֣ךְ H5221 David דָּוִ֔ד H1732 אֶת H853 also Hadadezer הֲדַדְעֶ֥זֶר H1909 the son בֶּן H1121 of Rehob רְחֹ֖ב H7340 king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Zobah צוֹבָ֑ה H6678 בְּלֶכְתּ֕וֹ H1980 to recover לְהָשִׁ֥יב H7725 his border יָד֖וֹ H3027 at the river בִּֽנְהַר H5104 Euphrates פְּרָֽת׃ H6578 4 took וַיִּלְכֹּ֨ד H3920 and David דָּוִד֙ H1732 מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Zobah צוֹבָ֑ה H6678 slew וַיַּ֤ךְ H5221 David דָּוִד֙ H1732 And when the Syrians בַּֽאֲרָ֔ם H758 and twenty עֶשְׂרִֽים H6242 two וּשְׁנַ֥יִם H8147 thousand אֶ֖לֶף H505 men אִֽישׁ׃ H376 6 put וַיָּ֨שֶׂם H7760 David דָּוִ֔ד H1732 garrisons נְצִבִים֙ H5333 and the Syrians אֲרָם֙ H758 of Damascus דַּמֶּ֔שֶׂק H1834 וַתְּהִ֤י H1961 and the Syrians אֲרָם֙ H758 David דָּוִ֔ד H1732 became servants לַֽעֲבָדִ֖ים H5650 and brought נֽוֹשְׂאֵ֣י H5375 gifts מִנְחָ֑ה H4503 preserved וַיֹּ֤שַׁע H3467 And the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 אֶת H853 David דָּוִ֔ד H1732 בְּכֹ֖ל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 whithersoever he went הָלָֽךְ׃ H1980 7 took וַיִּקַּ֣ח H3947 And David דָּוִ֗ד H1732 אֵ֚ת H853 the shields שִׁלְטֵ֣י H7982 of gold הַזָּהָ֔ב H2091 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 הָי֔וּ H1961 אֶ֖ל H413 that were on the servants עַבְדֵ֣י H5650 of Hadadezer הֲדַדְעָ֑זֶר H1909 and brought וַיְבִיאֵ֖ם H935 them to Jerusalem יְרֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ H3389 8 And from Betah וּמִבֶּ֥טַח H984 and from Berothai וּמִבֵּֽרֹתַ֖י H1268 cities עָרֵ֣י H5892 of Hadadezer הֲדַדְעָ֑זֶר H1909 took לָקַ֞ח H3947 king הַמֶּ֧לֶךְ H4428 David דָּוִ֛ד H1732 brass נְחֹ֖שֶׁת H5178 much הַרְבֵּ֥ה H7235 exceeding מְאֹֽד׃ H3966 9 heard וַיִּשְׁמַ֕ע H8085 When Toi תֹּ֖עִי H8583 king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Hamath חֲמָ֑ת H2574 כִּ֚י H3588 had smitten הִכָּ֣ה H5221 that David דָוִ֔ד H1732 אֵ֖ת H853 כָּל H3605 all the host חֵ֥יל H2428 of Hadadezer הֲדַדְעָֽזֶר׃ H1909 10 sent וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח H7971 Then Toi תֹּ֖עִי H8583 אֶת H853 Joram יֽוֹרָם H3141 his son בְּנ֣וֹ H1121 אֶל H413 unto king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ H4428 David דָּ֠וִד H1732 to salute לִשְׁאָל H3627 of silver כֶ֥סֶף H3701 and vessels וּכְלֵ֥י H3627 of gold זָהָ֖ב H2091 and vessels וּכְלֵ֥י H3627 of brass נְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ H5178 11 גַּם H1571 אֹתָ֕ם H853 did dedicate הִקְדִּ֔ישׁ H6942 Which also king הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ H4428 David דָּוִ֖ד H1732 unto the LORD לַֽיהוָ֑ה H3068 עִם H5973 with the silver הַכֶּ֤סֶף H3701 and gold וְהַזָּהָב֙ H2091 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 did dedicate הִקְדִּ֔ישׁ H6942 מִכָּל H3605 of all nations הַגּוֹיִ֖ם H1471 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which he subdued כִּבֵּֽשׁ׃ H3533 12 Of Syria מֵֽאֲרָ֤ם H758 and of Moab וּמִמּוֹאָב֙ H4124 and of the children בֶּן H1121 of Ammon עַמּ֔וֹן H5983 and of the Philistines וּמִפְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים H6430 and of Amalek וּמֵֽעֲמָלֵ֑ק H6002 and of the spoil וּמִשְּׁלַ֛ל H7998 of Hadadezer הֲדַדְעֶ֥זֶר H1909 and of the children בֶּן H1121 of Rehob רְחֹ֖ב H7340 king מֶ֥לֶךְ H4428 of Zobah צוֹבָֽה׃ H6678 13 gat וַיַּ֤עַשׂ H6213 And David דָּוִד֙ H1732 him a name שֵׁ֔ם H8034 when he returned בְּשֻׁב֕וֹ H7725 from smiting מֵֽהַכּוֹת֥וֹ H5221 אֶת H853 of the Syrians אֲרָ֖ם H758 in the valley בְּגֵיא H1516 of salt מֶ֑לַח H4417 being eighteen שְׁמוֹנָ֥ה H8083 עָשָׂ֖ר H6240 thousand אָֽלֶף׃ H505 14 And he put שָׂ֣ם H7760 and all they of Edom אֱד֖וֹם H123 garrisons And David דָוִ֗ד H1732 עַל H5921 כָּל H3605 over all Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 וַיְהִ֣י H1961 And David דָוִ֗ד H1732 executed עֹשֶׂ֛ה H6213 judgment מִשְׁפָּ֥ט H4941 and justice וּצְדָקָ֖ה H6666 לְכָל of Abiathar אֶבְיָתָ֖ר H54 were the priests כֹּֽהֲנִ֑ים H3548 and Seraiah וּשְׂרָיָ֖ה H8304 was the scribe סוֹפֵֽר׃ H5608 18 And Benaiah וּבְנָיָ֙הוּ֙ H1141 sons וּבְנֵ֥י H1121 of Jehoiada יְה֣וֹיָדָ֔ע H3077 was over both the Cherethites וְהַכְּרֵתִ֖י H3774 and the Pelethites וְהַפְּלֵתִ֑י H6432 sons וּבְנֵ֥י H1121 and David's דָוִ֖ד H1732 were chief rulers כֹּֽהֲנִ֥ים H3548 הָיֽוּ׃
