H594 8 Then said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And the LORD יְהוָ֜ה H3068 אֵלַ֗י H413 מָֽה H4100 אַתָּ֤ה H859 what seest רֹאֶה֙ H7200 unto me Amos עָמ֔וֹס H5986 Then said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 A plumbline אֲנָךְ֙ H594 Then said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 the Lord אֲדֹנָ֗י H136 הִנְנִ֨י H2005 Behold I will set שָׂ֤ם H7760 A plumbline אֲנָךְ֙ H594 in the midst בְּקֶ֙רֶב֙ H7130 of my people עַמִּ֣י H5971 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 לֹֽא H3808 I will not again אוֹסִ֥יף H3254 ע֖וֹד H5750 pass by עֲב֥וֹר H5674 לֽוֹ׃ H0 9 shall be desolate וְנָשַׁ֙מּוּ֙ H8074 And the high places בָּמ֣וֹת H1116 of Isaac יִשְׂחָ֔ק H3446 and the H3379 with the sword בֶּחָֽרֶב׃ H2719 10 sent וַיִּשְׁלַ֗ח H7971 Then Amaziah אֲמַצְיָה֙ H558 the priest כֹּהֵ֣ן H3548 בֵּֽית H0 of Bethel אֵ֔ל H1008 אֶל H413 to Jeroboam יָרָבְעָ֥ם H3379 king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 saying לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 hath conspired קָשַׁ֨ר H7194 עָלֶ֜יךָ H5921 Amos עָמ֗וֹס H5986 against thee in the midst בְּקֶ֙רֶב֙ H7130 of the house בֵּ֣ית H1004 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 לֹא H3808 is not able תוּכַ֣ל H3201 the land הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 to bear לְהָכִ֖יל H3557 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all his words דְּבָרָֽיו׃ H1697 11 כִּי H3588 כֹה֙ H3541 saith אָמַ֣ר H559 For H1540 מֵעַ֥ל H5921 out of their own land אַדְמָתֽוֹ׃ H127 12 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 Also Amaziah אֲמַצְיָה֙ H558 אֶל H413 unto Amos עָמ֔וֹס H5986 O thou seer חֹזֶ֕ה H2374 לֵ֥ךְ H1980 flee thee away בְּרַח H1272 לְךָ֖ H0 אֶל H413 into the land אֶ֣רֶץ H776 of Judah יְהוּדָ֑ה H3063 and there eat וֶאֱכָל H398 שָׁ֣ם H8033 bread לֶ֔חֶם H3899 וְשָׁ֖ם H8033 and prophesy תִּנָּבֵֽא׃ H5012 13 וּבֵֽית H0 any more at Bethel אֵ֔ל H1008 לֹֽא H3808 not again תוֹסִ֥יף H3254 ע֖וֹד H5750 But prophesy לְהִנָּבֵ֑א H5012 כִּ֤י H3588 chapel מִקְדַּשׁ H4720 for it is the king's מֶ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 ה֔וּא H1931 court וּבֵ֥ית H1004 and it is the king's מַמְלָכָ֖ה H4467 הֽוּא׃ H1931 14 Then answered וַיַּ֤עַן H6030 Amos עָמוֹס֙ H5986 and said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 אֶל H413 to Amaziah אֲמַצְיָ֔ה H558 לֹא H3808 I was no prophet נָבִ֖יא H5030 אָנֹ֔כִי H595 וְלֹ֥א H3808 son בֶן H1121 I was no prophet נָבִ֖יא H5030 אָנֹ֑כִי H595 כִּֽי H3588 but I was an herdman בוֹקֵ֥ר H951 אָנֹ֖כִי H595 and a gatherer וּבוֹלֵ֥ס H1103 of sycomore fruit שִׁקְמִֽים׃ H8256 15 took וַיִּקָּחֵ֣נִי H3947 And the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 me as I followed מֵאַחֲרֵ֖י H310 the flock הַצֹּ֑אן H6629 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 אֵלַי֙ H413 And the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 לֵ֥ךְ H1980 prophesy הִנָּבֵ֖א H5012 אֶל H413 unto my people עַמִּ֥י H5971 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ H3478 16 וְעַתָּ֖ה H6258 Now therefore hear שְׁמַ֣ע H8085 thou the word דְּבַר H1697 of the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 אַתָּ֣ה H859 Thou sayest אֹמֵ֗ר H559 לֹ֤א H3808 Prophesy תִנָּבֵא֙ H5012 עַל H5921 not against Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 וְלֹ֥א H3808 and drop תַטִּ֖יף H5197 עַל H5921 not thy word against the house בֵּ֥ית H1004 of Isaac יִשְׂחָֽק׃ H3446 17 לָכֵ֞ן H3651 כֹּה H3541 Therefore thus saith אָמַ֣ר H559 the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 Thy wife אִשְׁתְּךָ֞ H802 in the city בָּעִ֤יר H5892 shall be an harlot תִּזְנֶה֙ H2181 and thy sons וּבָנֶ֤יךָ H1121 and thy daughters וּבְנֹתֶ֙יךָ֙ H1323 by the sword בַּחֶ֣רֶב H2719 shall fall יִפֹּ֔לוּ H5307 and thy land אַדְמָתֽוֹ׃ H127 by line בַּחֶ֣בֶל H2256 shall be divided תְּחֻלָּ֑ק H2505 וְאַתָּ֗ה H859 in מֵעַ֥ל H5921 and thy land אַדְמָתֽוֹ׃ H127 a polluted טְמֵאָה֙ H2931 and thou shalt die תָּמ֔וּת H4191 and Israel וְיִ֨שְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 go into
