H3566 king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Persia פָּרַ֔ס H6539 a thing הַדָּבָ֔ר H1697 was revealed נִגְלָ֣ה H1540 unto Daniel לְדָֽנִיֵּ֔אל H1840 אֲשֶׁר H834 was called נִקְרָ֥א H7121 whose name שְׁמ֖וֹ H8034 Belteshazzar בֵּלְטְשַׁאצַּ֑ר H1095 was true וֶאֱמֶ֤ת H571 a thing הַדָּבָ֔ר H1697 but the time appointed וְצָבָ֣א H6635 was long גָד֔וֹל H1419 and he understood וּבִין֙ H995 אֶת H853 a thing הַדָּבָ֔ר H1697 and had understanding וּבִ֥ינָה H998 ל֖וֹ H0 of the vision בַּמַּרְאֶֽה׃ H4758 2 In those days יָמִֽים׃ H3117 הָהֵ֑ם H1992 אֲנִ֤י H589 I Daniel דָֽנִיֵּאל֙ H1840 הָיִ֣יתִי H1961 was וּפָנָ֞יו H6440 as the appearance כְּמַרְאֵ֤ה H4758 of lightning בָרָק֙ H1300 and his eyes כְּעֵ֖ין H5869 as lamps כְּלַפִּ֣ידֵי H3940 of fire אֵ֔שׁ H784 and his arms וּזְרֹֽעֹתָיו֙ H2220 and his feet וּמַרְגְּלֹתָ֔יו H4772 and his eyes כְּעֵ֖ין H5869 brass נְחֹ֣שֶׁת H5178 to polished קָלָ֑ל H7044 and the voice כְּק֥וֹל H6963 of his words דְּבָרָ֖יו H1697 and the voice כְּק֥וֹל H6963 of a multitude הָמֽוֹן׃ H1995 7 alone saw רָא֖וּ H7200 אֲנִ֨י H589 And I Daniel דָנִיֵּ֤אל H1840 לְבַדִּי֙ H905 אֶת H853 not the vision הַמַּרְאָ֑ה H4759 for the men וְהָאֲנָשִׁים֙ H582 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 הָי֣וּ H1961 עִמִּ֔י H5973 לֹ֥א H3808 alone saw רָא֖וּ H7200 אֶת H853 not the vision הַמַּרְאָ֑ה H4759 but אֲבָ֗ל H61 quaking חֲרָדָ֤ה H2731 a great גְדֹלָה֙ H1419 fell נָפְלָ֣ה H5307 עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם H5921 upon them so that they fled וַֽיִּבְרְח֖וּ H1272 to hide בְּהֵחָבֵֽא׃ H2244 8 וַאֲנִי֙ H589 Therefore I was left alone נִשְׁאַר H7604 לְבַדִּ֔י H905 and saw וָֽאֶרְאֶ֗ה H7200 אֶת H853 vision הַמַּרְאָ֤ה H4759 this great הַגְּדֹלָה֙ H1419 הַזֹּ֔את H2063 וְלֹ֥א H3808 Therefore I was left alone נִשְׁאַר H7604 בִּ֖י H0 no strength כֹּֽחַ׃ H3581 in me for my comeliness וְהוֹדִ֗י H1935 was turned נֶהְפַּ֤ךְ H2015 עָלַי֙ H5921 in me into corruption לְמַשְׁחִ֔ית H4889 וְלֹ֥א H3808 and I retained עָצַ֖רְתִּי H6113 no strength כֹּֽחַ׃ H3581 9 Yet heard וּכְשָׁמְעִי֙ H8085 אֶת H853 I the voice ק֣וֹל H6963 of his man אִישׁ H376 חֲ֠מֻדוֹת H2530 understand הָבֵ֨ן H995 the words הַדָּבָ֥ר H1697 אֲשֶׁר֩ H834 אָנֹכִ֨י H595 And when he had spoken וּבְדַבְּר֥וֹ H1696 אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ H413 unto me I stood עָמַ֥דְתִּי H5975 עַל H5921 upright עָמְדֶ֔ךָ H5977 כִּ֥י H3588 עַתָּ֖ה H6258 for unto thee am I now sent שֻׁלַּ֣חְתִּי H7971 אֵלֶ֑יךָ H413 And when he had spoken וּבְדַבְּר֥וֹ H1696 עִמִּ֛י H5973 אֶת H853 the words הַדָּבָ֥ר H1697 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 unto me I stood עָמַ֥דְתִּי H5975 trembling מַרְעִֽיד׃ H7460 12 Then said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 אֵלַי֮ H413 אַל H408 he unto me Fear תִּירָ֣א H3372 not Daniel דָנִיֵּאל֒ H1840 כִּ֣י׀ H3588 מִן H4480 day הַיּ֣וֹם H3117 for from the first הָרִאשׁ֗וֹן H7223 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 that thou didst set נָתַ֧תָּ H5414 אֶֽת H853 thine heart לִבְּךָ֛ H3820 to understand לְהָבִ֧ין H995 and to chasten וּלְהִתְעַנּ֛וֹת H6031 thyself before לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 thy God אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ H430 were heard נִשְׁמְע֣וּ H8085 for thy words בִּדְבָרֶֽיךָ׃ H1697 וַאֲנִי H589 and I am come בָ֖אתִי H935 for thy words בִּדְבָרֶֽיךָ׃ H1697 13 But the prince הַשָּׂרִ֥ים H8269 of the kingdom מַלְכ֣וּת H4438 of Persia פָרָֽס׃ H6539 withstood עֹמֵ֤ד H5975 לְנֶגְדִּי֙ H5048 and twenty עֶשְׂרִ֣ים H6242 me one אַחַ֛ד H259 days י֔וֹם H3117 וְהִנֵּ֣ה H2009 but lo Michael מִֽיכָאֵ֗ל H4317 me one אַחַ֛ד H259 But the prince הַשָּׂרִ֥ים H8269 of the chief הָרִאשֹׁנִ֖ים H7223 came בָּ֣א H935 to help לְעָזְרֵ֑נִי H5826 וַאֲנִי֙ H589 me and I remained נוֹתַ֣רְתִּי H3498 שָׁ֔ם H8033 there with אֵ֖צֶל H681 the kings מַלְכֵ֥י H4428 of Persia פָרָֽס׃ H6539 14 Now I am come וּבָ֙אתִי֙ H935 to make thee understand לַהֲבִ֣ינְךָ֔ H995 אֵ֛ת H853 אֲשֶׁר H834 what shall befall יִקְרָ֥ה H7136 thy people לְעַמְּךָ֖ H5971 in the latter בְּאַחֲרִ֣ית H319 days לַיָּמִֽים׃ H3117 כִּי H3588 ע֥וֹד H5750 for yet the vision חָז֖וֹן H2377 days לַיָּמִֽים׃ H3117 15 And when he had spoken וּבְדַבְּר֣וֹ H1696 עִמִּ֔י H5973 such words כַּדְּבָרִ֖ים H1697 הָאֵ֑לֶּה H428 unto me I set נָתַ֧תִּי H5414 my face פָנַ֛י H6440 toward the ground אַ֖רְצָה H776 and I became dumb וְנֶאֱלָֽמְתִּי׃ H481 16 וְהִנֵּ֗ה H2009 And behold one like the similitude כִּדְמוּת֙ H1823 of the sons בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of men אָדָ֔ם H120 touched נֹגֵ֖עַ H5060 עַל H5921 my lips שְׂפָתָ֑י H8193 then I opened וָאֶפְתַּח H6605 my mouth פִּ֗י H6310 and spake וָאֲדַבְּרָה֙ H1696 and said וָאֹֽמְרָה֙ H559 אֶל H413 unto him that stood הָעֹמֵ֣ד H5975 לְנֶגְדִּ֔י H5048 before me O my lord אֲדֹנִ֗י H113 by the vision בַּמַּרְאָה֙ H4759 are turned נֶהֶפְכ֤וּ H2015 my sorrows צִירַי֙ H6735 עָלַ֔י H5921 וְלֹ֥א H3808 upon me and I have retained עָצַ֖רְתִּי H6113 no strength כֹּֽחַ׃ H3581 17 For how וְהֵ֣יךְ H1963 can יוּכַ֗ל H3201 the servant עֶ֤בֶד H5650 of this my lord אֲדֹ֣נִי H113 זֶ֔ה H2088 talk לְדַבֵּ֖ר H1696 עִם H5973 of this my lord אֲדֹ֣נִי H113 זֶ֑ה H2088 וַאֲנִ֤י H589 for as for me straightway מֵעַ֙תָּה֙ H6258 לֹֽא H3808 there remained יַעֲמָד H5975 בִּ֣י H0 no strength כֹ֔חַ H3581 in me neither is there breath וּנְשָׁמָ֖ה H5397 לֹ֥א H3808 left נִשְׁאֲרָה H7604 בִֽי׃ H0 18 Then there came again וַיֹּ֧סֶף H3254 and touched וַיִּגַּע H5060 בִּ֛י H0 me one like the appearance כְּמַרְאֵ֥ה H4758 of a man אָדָ֖ם H120 and he strengthened וַֽיְחַזְּקֵֽנִי׃ H2388 19 And said וָאֹ֥מְרָ֛ה H559 אַל H408 fear תִּירָ֧א H3372 O man אִישׁ H376 חֲמֻד֛וֹת H2530 not peace שָׁל֥וֹם H7965 לָ֖ךְ H0 be unto thee be strong חִזַּקְתָּֽנִי׃ H2388 be unto thee be strong חִזַּקְתָּֽנִי׃ H2388 And when he had spoken יְדַבֵּ֥ר H1696 עִמִּי֙ H5973 be unto thee be strong חִזַּקְתָּֽנִי׃ H2388 And said וָאֹ֥מְרָ֛ה H559 And when he had spoken יְדַבֵּ֥ר H1696 Let my lord אֲדֹנִ֖י H113 כִּ֥י H3588 be unto thee be strong חִזַּקְתָּֽנִי׃ H2388 20 Then said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 he Knowest הֲיָדַ֙עְתָּ֙ H3045 לָמָּה H4100 shall come בָּֽא׃ H935 אֵלֶ֔יךָ H413 וְעַתָּ֣ה H6258 unto thee and now will I return אָשׁ֔וּב H7725 to fight לְהִלָּחֵ֖ם H3898 עִם H5973 lo the prince שַׂר H8269 of Persia פָּרָ֑ס H6539 וַאֲנִ֣י H589 and when I am gone forth יוֹצֵ֔א H3318 וְהִנֵּ֥ה H2009 lo the prince שַׂר H8269 of Grecia יָוָ֖ן H3120 shall come בָּֽא׃ H935 21 But אֲבָל֙ H61 I will shew אַגִּ֣יד H5046 לְךָ֔ H0 אֶת H853 thee that which is noted הָרָשׁ֥וּם H7559 in the scripture בִּכְתָ֖ב H3791 of truth אֱמֶ֑ת H571 וְאֵ֨ין H369 and there is none אֶחָ֜ד H259 that holdeth מִתְחַזֵּ֤ק H2388 עִמִּי֙ H5973 עַל H5921 אֵ֔לֶּה H428 כִּ֥י H3588 אִם
