his God אֱלָהֵֽהּ׃ H426 12 Then בֵּ֠אדַיִן H116 they came near קְרִ֨בוּ H7127 and said וְאָמַ֗ר H560 before קֳדָם H6925 The king מַלְכָּ֜א H4430 concerning עַל H5922 a decree אֱסָ֣ר H633 The king מַלְכָּ֜א H4430 Hast thou not לָ֥א H3809 a decree אֱסָ֣ר H633 signed רְשַׁ֗מְתָּ H7560 דִּ֣י H1768 any כָּל H3606 man וֶֽאֱנָ֜שׁ H606 דִּֽי H1768 that shall ask יִבְעֵא֩ H1156 a petition of מִנָּ֣ךְ H4481 any כָּל H3606 God אֱלָ֨הּ H426 man וֶֽאֱנָ֜שׁ H606 within עַד H5705 days יוֹמִ֣ין H3118 thirty תְּלָתִ֗ין H8533 save לָהֵן֙ H3861 a petition of מִנָּ֣ךְ H4481 The king מַלְכָּ֜א H4430 shall be גָלוּתָ֜א H1547 דִּ֣י H1768 of Judah יְה֗וּד H3061 not לָא H3809 regardeth שָׂ֨ם H7761 עֲלָ֤יךְ H5921 O king מַלְכָּא֙ H4430 טְעֵ֔ם H2942 thee וְעַל H5922 nor the decree אֱסָרָ֖א H633 דִּ֣י H1768 that thou hast signed רְשַׁ֑מְתָּ H7560 times וְזִמְנִ֤ין H2166 three תְּלָתָה֙ H8532 a day בְּיוֹמָ֔א H3118 but maketh בָּעֵ֖א H1156 his petition בָּעוּתֵֽהּ׃ H1159 14 Then אֱדַ֨יִן H116 the king מַלְכָּ֜א H4430 כְּדִ֧י H1768 these words מִלְּתָ֣א H4406 when he heard שְׁמַ֗ע H8086 was sore שַׂגִּיא֙ H7690 displeased בְּאֵ֣שׁ H888 on וְעַ֧ל H5922 on וְעַ֧ל H5922 Daniel דָּנִיֵּ֛אל H1841 with וְאָמְרִ֣ין H560 O king מַלְכָּ֥א H4430 Know דַּ֤ע H3046 O king מַלְכָּ֥א H4430 דִּֽי H1768 that the law דָת֙ H1882 of the Medes לְמָדַ֣י H4076 and Persians וּפָרַ֔ס H6540 דִּֽי H1768 is That no כָל H3606 decree אֱסָ֥ר H633 nor statute וּקְיָ֛ם H7010 דִּֽי H1768 O king מַלְכָּ֥א H4430 establisheth יְהָקֵ֖ים H6966 לָ֥א H3809 may be changed לְהַשְׁנָיָֽה׃ H8133 16 Then בֵּאדַ֜יִן H116 Now the king מַלְכָּא֙ H4430 and said וְאָמַ֣ר H560 and they brought וְהַיְתִיו֙ H858 Daniel לְדָנִיֵּ֔אל H1841 and cast וּרְמ֕וֹ H7412 him into the den לְגֻבָּ֖א H1358 דִּ֣י H1768 of lions אַרְיָוָתָ֑א H744 spake עָנֵ֤ה H6032 Now the king מַלְכָּא֙ H4430 and said וְאָמַ֣ר H560 Daniel לְדָנִיֵּ֔אל H1841 Thy God אֱלָהָ֗ךְ H426 דִּ֣י H1768 whom thou אַ֤נְתְּה H607 servest פָּֽלַֽח H6399 לֵהּ֙ H0 continually בִּתְדִירָ֔א H8411 ה֖וּא H1932 he will deliver יְשֵׁיזְבִנָּֽךְ׃ H7804 17 was brought וְהֵיתָ֙יִת֙ H858 stone אֶ֣בֶן H69 And a חֲדָ֔ה H2298 and laid וְשֻׂמַ֖ת H7761 upon עַל H5922 the mouth פֻּ֣ם H6433 of the den גֻּבָּ֑א H1358 sealed וְחַתְמַ֨הּ H2857 and the king מַלְכָּ֜א H4430 and with the signet וּבְעִזְקָת֙ H5824 and with the signet וּבְעִזְקָת֙ H5824 of his lords רַבְרְבָנ֔וֹהִי H7261 דִּ֛י H1768 might not לָא H3809 be changed תִשְׁנֵ֥א H8133 that the purpose צְב֖וּ H6640 concerning Daniel בְּדָנִיֵּֽאל׃ H1841 18 Then אֱ֠דַיִן H116 went אֲזַ֨ל H236 the king מַלְכָּ֤א H4430 to his palace לְהֵֽיכְלֵהּ֙ H1965 and passed the night וּבָ֣ת H956 fasting טְוָ֔ת H2908 were instruments וְדַחֲוָ֖ן H1761 neither לָא H3809 of musick brought הַנְעֵ֣ל H5954 before קָֽדָמ֑וֹהִי H6925 him and his sleep וְשִׁנְתֵּ֖הּ H8139 went נַדַּ֥ת H5075 from him עֲלֽוֹהִי׃ H5922 19 Then בֵּאדַ֣יִן H116 the king מַלְכָּ֔א H4430 very early בִּשְׁפַּרְפָּרָ֖א H8238 arose יְק֣וּם H6966 in the morning בְּנָגְהָ֑א H5053 in haste וּבְהִ֨תְבְּהָלָ֔ה H927 unto the den לְגֻבָּ֥א H1358 דִֽי H1768 of lions אַרְיָוָתָ֖א H744 and went אֲזַֽל׃ H236 20 And when he came וּכְמִקְרְבֵ֣הּ H7127 to the den לְגֻבָּ֔א H1358 O Daniel דָּֽנִיֵּאל֙ H1841 voice בְּקָ֥ל H7032 with a lamentable עֲצִ֖יב H6088 he cried זְעִ֑ק H2200 spake עָנֵ֨ה H6032 and the king מַלְכָּ֜א H4430 and said וְאָמַ֣ר H560 O Daniel דָּֽנִיֵּאל֙ H1841 O Daniel דָּֽנִיֵּאל֙ H1841 servant עֲבֵד֙ H5649 God אֱלָהָ֗ךְ H426 of the living חַיָּ֔א H2417 God אֱלָהָ֗ךְ H426 דִּ֣י H1768 אַ֤נְתְּה H607 whom thou servest פָּֽלַֽח H6399 לֵהּ֙ H0 continually בִּתְדִירָ֔א H8411 able הַיְכִ֥ל H3202 to deliver לְשֵׁיזָבוּתָ֖ךְ H7804 thee from מִן H4481 the lions אַרְיָוָתָֽא׃ H744 21 Then אֱדַ֙יִן֙ H116 Daniel דָּנִיֶּ֔אל H1841 unto עִם H5974 O king מַלְכָּ֖א H4430 said מַלִּ֑ל H4449 O king מַלְכָּ֖א H4430 for ever לְעָלְמִ֥ין H5957 live חֱיִֽי׃ H2418 22 My God אֱלָהִ֞י H426 hath sent שְׁלַ֣ח H7972 his angel מַלְאֲכֵ֗הּ H4398 and hath shut וְהַיְתִ֞יו H858 men גֻּבְרַיָּ֤א H1400 those אִלֵּךְ֙ H479 דִּֽי H1768 which had accused אֲכַ֤לוּ H399 קַרְצ֙וֹהִי֙ H7170 דִּ֣י H1768 Daniel דָֽנִיֵּ֔אל H1841 of the den גֻּבָּ֗א H1358 and the lions אַרְיָ֣וָתָ֔א H744 and they cast רְמ֔וֹ H7412 them אִנּ֖וּן H581 their children בְּנֵיה֣וֹן H1123 and their wives וּנְשֵׁיה֑וֹן H5389 or ever וְלָֽא H3809 they came מְט֞וֹ H4291 at the bottom לְאַרְעִ֣ית H773 of the den גֻּבָּ֗א H1358 had the mastery עַ֠ד H5705 דִּֽי H1768 שְׁלִ֤טֽוּ H7981 בְהוֹן֙ H0 and the lions אַרְיָ֣וָתָ֔א H744 all וְכָל H3606 their bones גַּרְמֵיה֖וֹן H1635 in pieces וְלִשָּׁנַיָּ֛א H3961 דִּֽי H1768 that dwell דָאְרִ֥ין H1753 in all בְּכָל H3606 the earth אַרְעָ֖א H772 Peace שְׁלָמְכ֥וֹן H8001 be multiplied יִשְׂגֵּֽא׃ H7680 26 I מִן H4481 קֳדָמַי֮ H6925 make
