vision בֶּֽחָז֔וֹן H2377 וַאֲנִ֥י H589 הָיִ֖יתִי H1961 עַל H5921 and I was by the river אוּבַ֥ל H180 of Ulai אוּלָֽי׃ H195 3 Then I lifted up וָאֶשָּׂ֤א H5375 mine eyes עֵינַי֙ H5869 and saw וָאֶרְאֶ֔ה H7200 וְהִנֵּ֣ה׀ H2009 ram אַ֣יִל H352 a וְהָאַחַת֙ H259 and behold there stood עֹמֵ֛ד H5975 before לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 the river הָאֻבָ֖ל H180 וְל֣וֹ H0 and the two horns וְהַקְּרָנַ֣יִם H7161 H6828 and southward וָנֶ֗גְבָּה H5045 וְכָל H3605 so that no beasts חַיּוֹת֙ H2416 לֹֽא H3808 might stand יַֽעַמְד֣וּ H5975 before לְפָנָ֔יו H6440 וְאֵ֥ין H369 him neither was there any that could deliver מַצִּ֖יל H5337 out of his hand מִיָּד֑וֹ H3027 but he did וְעָשָׂ֥ה H6213 according to his will כִרְצֹנ֖וֹ H7522 and became great וְהִגְדִּֽיל׃ H1431 5 וַאֲנִ֣י׀ H589 הָיִ֣יתִי H1961 And as I was considering מֵבִ֗ין H995 וְהִנֵּ֤ה H2009 and the goat וְהַ֨צָּפִ֔יר H6842 behold an he הָֽעִזִּים֙ H5795 came בָּ֤א H935 מִן H4480 from the west הַֽמַּעֲרָב֙ H4628 עַל H5921 on the face פְּנֵ֣י H6440 כָל H3605 not the ground בָּאָ֑רֶץ H776 וְאֵ֥ין H369 and touched נוֹגֵ֖עַ H5060 not the ground בָּאָ֑רֶץ H776 and the goat וְהַ֨צָּפִ֔יר H6842 horn קֶ֥רֶן H7161 had a notable חָז֖וּת H2380 בֵּ֥ין H996 between his eyes עֵינָֽיו׃ H5869 6 And he came וַיָּבֹ֗א H935 עַד H5704 to the ram הָאַ֙יִל֙ H352 that had בַּ֣עַל H1167 two horns הַקְּרָנַ֔יִם H7161 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which I had seen רָאִ֔יתִי H7200 standing עֹמֵ֖ד H5975 before לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 the river הָאֻבָ֑ל H180 and ran וַיָּ֥רָץ H7323 אֵלָ֖יו H413 unto him in the fury בַּחֲמַ֥ת H2534 of his power כֹּחֽוֹ׃ H3581 7 And I saw וּרְאִיתִ֞יו H7200 him come מַגִּ֣יעַ׀ H5060 close אֵ֣צֶל H681 in the ram לָאַ֖יִל H352 and he was moved with choler וַיִּתְמַרְמַ֤ר H4843 אֵלָיו֙ H413 against him and smote וַיַּ֣ךְ H5221 אֶת H853 in the ram לָאַ֖יִל H352 and brake וַיְשַׁבֵּר֙ H7665 אֶת H853 his two שְׁתֵּ֣י H8147 horns קְרָנָ֔יו H7161 וְלֹא H3808 הָ֥יָה H1961 and there was no power כֹ֛חַ H3581 in the ram לָאַ֖יִל H352 to stand לַעֲמֹ֣ד H5975 before לְפָנָ֑יו H6440 him but he cast him down וַיַּשְׁלִיכֵ֤הוּ H7993 to the ground אַ֙רְצָה֙ H776 and stamped וַֽיִּרְמְסֵ֔הוּ H7429 וְלֹא H3808 הָיָ֥ה H1961 upon him and there was none that could deliver מַצִּ֛יל H5337 in the ram לָאַ֖יִל H352 out of his hand מִיָּדֽוֹ׃ H3027 8 Therefore the he וּצְפִ֥יר H6842 goat הָעִזִּ֖ים H5795 great הִגְדִּ֣יל H1431 עַד H5704 waxed very מְאֹ֑ד H3966 and when he was strong וּכְעָצְמ֗וֹ H6105 was broken נִשְׁבְּרָה֙ H7665 horn הַקֶּ֣רֶן H7161 the great הַגְּדֹלָ֔ה H1419 and for it came up וַֽתַּעֲלֶ֜נָה H5927 notable ones חָז֤וּת H2380 four לְאַרְבַּ֖ע H702 תַּחְתֶּ֔יהָ H8478 four לְאַרְבַּ֖ע H702 winds רוּח֥וֹת H7307 of heaven הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ H8064 9 וּמִן H4480 And out of one אַחַ֖ת H259 מֵהֶ֔ם H1992 of them came forth יָצָ֥א H3318 horn קֶֽרֶן H7161 And out of one אַחַ֖ת H259 a little מִצְּעִירָ֑ה H4704 great וַתִּגְדַּל H1431 which waxed exceeding יֶ֛תֶר H3499 אֶל H413 toward the south הַנֶּ֥גֶב H5045 וְאֶל H413 and toward the east הַמִּזְרָ֖ח H4217 וְאֶל H413 and toward the pleasant הַצֶּֽבִי׃ H6643 10 And it waxed great וַתִּגְדַּ֖ל H1431 עַד H5704 even to the host הַצָּבָ֥א H6635 of heaven הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם H8064 and it cast down וַתַּפֵּ֥ל H5307 to the ground אַ֛רְצָה H776 מִן H4480 even to the host הַצָּבָ֥א H6635 וּמִן H4480 and of the stars הַכּוֹכָבִ֖ים H3556 and stamped וַֽתִּרְמְסֵֽם׃ H7429 11 וְעַ֥ד H5704 himself even to the prince שַֽׂר H8269 of the host הַצָּבָ֖א H6635 Yea he magnified הִגְדִּ֑יל H1431 וּמִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ H4480 sacrifice was taken away הרּיַ֣ם H7311 and by him the daily הַתָּמִ֔יד H8548 was cast down וְהֻשְׁלַ֖ךְ H7993 and the place מְכ֥וֹן H4349 of his sanctuary מִקְדָּשֽׁוֹ׃ H4720 12 And an host וְצָבָ֛א H6635 was given תִּנָּתֵ֥ן H5414 עַל H5921 him against the daily הַתָּמִ֖יד H8548 sacrifice by reason of transgression בְּפָ֑שַׁע H6588 and it cast down וְתַשְׁלֵ֤ךְ H7993 the truth אֱמֶת֙ H571 to the ground אַ֔רְצָה H776 and it practised וְעָשְׂתָ֖ה H6213 and prospered וְהִצְלִֽיחָה׃ H6743 13 Then I heard וָאֶשְׁמְעָ֥ה H8085 and another אֶחָ֨ד H259 saint קָד֜וֹשׁ H6918 saint which spake הַֽמְדַבֵּ֗ר H1696 said וַיֹּאמֶר֩ H559 and another אֶחָ֨ד H259 saint קָד֜וֹשׁ H6918 unto that certain לַפַּֽלְמוֹנִ֣י H6422 saint which spake הַֽמְדַבֵּ֗ר H1696 עַד H5704 מָתַ֞י H4970 How long shall be the vision הֶחָז֤וֹן H2377 concerning the daily הַתָּמִיד֙ H8548 sacrifice and the transgression וְהַפֶּ֣שַׁע H6588 of desolation שֹׁמֵ֔ם H8074 to give תֵּ֛ת H5414 both the sanctuary וְקֹ֥דֶשׁ H6944 and the host וְצָבָ֖א H6635 to be trodden under foot מִרְמָֽס׃ H4823 14 And he said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 אֵלַ֔י H413 עַ֚ד H5704 days עֶ֣רֶב H6153 בֹּ֔קֶר H1242 unto me Unto two thousand אַלְפַּ֖יִם H505 and three וּשְׁלֹ֣שׁ H7969 hundred מֵא֑וֹת H3967 be cleansed וְנִצְדַּ֖ק H6663 then shall the sanctuary קֹֽדֶשׁ׃ H6944 15 וַיְהִ֗י H1961 had seen בִּרְאֹתִ֛י H7200 אֲנִ֥י H589 And it came to pass when I even I Daniel דָנִיֵּ֖אל H1840 אֶת H853 the vision הֶחָז֑וֹן H2377 and sought וָאֲבַקְשָׁ֣ה H1245 for the meaning בִינָ֔ה H998 וְהִנֵּ֛ה H2009 then behold there stood עֹמֵ֥ד H5975 לְנֶגְדִּ֖י H5048 before me as the appearance כְּמַרְאֵה H4758 of a man גָֽבֶר׃ H1397 16 And I heard וָאֶשְׁמַ֥ע H8085 voice קוֹל H6963 a man's אָדָ֖ם H120 בֵּ֣ין H996 between the banks of Ulai אוּלָ֑י H195 which called וַיִּקְרָא֙ H7121 and said וַיֹּאמַ֔ר H559 Gabriel גַּבְרִיאֵ֕ל H1403 man to understand הָבֵ֥ן H995 make this לְהַלָּ֖ז H1975 אֶת H853 the vision הַמַּרְאֶֽה׃ H4758 17 So he came וּבְבֹא֣וֹ H935 near אֵ֣צֶל H681 where I stood עָמְדִ֔י H5977 So he came וּבְבֹא֣וֹ H935 I was afraid נִבְעַ֔תִּי H1204 and fell וָאֶפְּלָ֖ה H5307 עַל H5921 upon my face פָּנָ֑י H6440 but he said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 אֵלַי֙ H413 unto me Understand הָבֵ֣ן H995 O son בֶּן H1121 of man אָדָ֔ם H120 כִּ֖י H3588 for at the time לְעֶת H6256 of the end קֵ֥ץ H7093 shall be the vision הֶחָזֽוֹן׃ H2377 18 Now as he was speaking וּבְדַבְּר֣וֹ H1696 עִמִּ֔י H5973 with me I was in a deep sleep נִרְדַּ֥מְתִּי H7290 עַל H5921 on my face פָּנַ֖י H6440 toward the ground אָ֑רְצָה H776 but he touched וַיִּ֨גַּע H5060 בִּ֔י H0 me and set וַיַּֽעֲמִידֵ֖נִי H5975 עַל H5921 me upright עָמְדִֽי׃ H5977 19 And he said וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 הִנְנִ֣י H2005 Behold I will make thee know מוֹדִֽיעֲךָ֔ H3045 אֵ֥ת H853 אֲשֶׁר H834 יִהְיֶ֖ה H1961 what shall be in the last end בְּאַחֲרִ֣ית H319 of the indignation הַזָּ֑עַם H2195 כִּ֖י H3588 for at the time appointed לְמוֹעֵ֥ד H4150 the end קֵֽץ׃ H7093 20 The ram הָאַ֥יִל H352 אֲשֶׁר H834 which thou sawest רָאִ֖יתָ H7200 having בַּ֣עַל H1167 two horns הַקְּרָנָ֑יִם H7161 are the kings מַלְכֵ֖י H4428 of Media מָדַ֥י H4074 and Persia וּפָרָֽס׃ H6539 21 goat וְהַצָּפִ֥יר H6842 And the rough הַשָּׂעִ֖יר H8163 is the king הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ H4428 of Grecia יָוָ֑ן H3120 horn וְהַקֶּ֤רֶן H7161 and the great הַגְּדוֹלָה֙ H1419 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 בֵּין H996 that is between his eyes עֵינָ֔יו H5869 ה֖וּא H1931 is the king הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ H4428 is the first הָרִאשֽׁוֹן׃ H7223 22 Now that being broken וְהַ֨נִּשְׁבֶּ֔רֶת H7665 shall stand up יַעֲמֹ֖דְנָה H5975 for it four אַרְבַּ֧ע H702 תַּחְתֶּ֑יהָ H8478 for it four אַרְבַּ֧ע H702 kingdoms מַלְכֻי֛וֹת H4438 out of the nation מִגּ֥וֹי H1471 shall stand up יַעֲמֹ֖דְנָה H5975 וְלֹ֥א H3808 but not in his power בְכֹחֽוֹ׃ H3581 23 And in the latter time וּֽבְאַחֲרִית֙ H319 of their kingdom מַלְכוּתָ֔ם H4438 are come to the full כְּהָתֵ֖ם H8552 when the transgressors הַפֹּשְׁעִ֑ים H6586 shall stand up יַעֲמֹ֛ד H5975 a king מֶ֥לֶךְ H4428 of fierce עַז H5794 countenance פָּנִ֖ים H6440 and understanding וּמֵבִ֥ין H995 dark sentences חִידֽוֹת׃ H2420 24 shall be mighty וְעָצַ֤ם H6105 And his power בְכֹח֔וֹ H3581 וְלֹ֣א H3808 And his power בְכֹח֔וֹ H3581 wonderfully וְנִפְלָא֥וֹת H6381 and he shall destroy וְהִשְׁחִ֥ית H7843 and shall prosper וְהִצְלִ֣יחַ H6743 and practise וְעָשָׂ֑ה H6213 and he shall destroy וְהִשְׁחִ֥ית H7843 the mighty עֲצוּמִ֖ים H6099 people וְעַם H5971 and the holy קְדֹשִֽׁים׃ H6918 25 וְעַל H5921 And through his policy שִׂכְל֗וֹ H7922 to prosper וְהִצְלִ֤יחַ H6743 also he shall cause craft מִרְמָה֙ H4820 hand יָ֖ד H3027 himself in his heart וּבִלְבָב֣וֹ H3824 and he shall magnify יַגְדִּ֔יל H1431 and by peace וּבְשַׁלְוָ֖ה H7962 shall destroy יַשְׁחִ֣ית H7843 many רַבִּ֑ים H7227 וְעַ֤ל H5921 against the Prince שָׂרִים֙ H8269 against the Prince שָׂרִים֙ H8269 he shall also stand up יַעֲמֹ֔ד H5975 without וּבְאֶ֥פֶס H657 hand יָ֖ד H3027 but he shall be broken יִשָּׁבֵֽר׃ H7665 26 And the vision וּמַרְאֵ֨ה H4758 of the evening הָעֶ֧רֶב H6153 and the morning וְהַבֹּ֛קֶר H1242 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which was told נֶאֱמַ֖ר H559 is true אֱמֶ֣ת H571 ה֑וּא H1931 וְאַתָּה֙ H859 wherefore shut thou up סְתֹ֣ם H5640 the vision הֶֽחָז֔וֹן H2377 כִּ֖י H3588 days לְיָמִ֥ים H3117 for it shall be for many רַבִּֽים׃ H7227 27 וַאֲנִ֣י H589 And I Daniel דָנִיֵּ֗אל H1840 fainted נִהְיֵ֤יתִי H1961 and was sick וְנֶֽחֱלֵ֙יתִי֙ H2470 certain days יָמִ֔ים H3117 afterward I rose up וָאָק֕וּם H6965 and did וָאֶֽעֱשֶׂ֖ה H6213 אֶת H853 business מְלֶ֣אכֶת H4399 the king's הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ H4428 and I was astonished וָאֶשְׁתּוֹמֵ֥ם H8074 עַל H5921 at the vision הַמַּרְאֶ֖ה H4758 וְאֵ֥ין
