helve הָעֵ֔ץ H6086 fetcheth a stroke וְנִדְּחָ֨ה H5080 and his hand יָד֤וֹ H3027 with the axe בַגַּרְזֶן֙ H1631 to cut down לִכְרֹ֣ת H3772 from the helve הָעֵ֔ץ H6086 slippeth וְנָשַׁ֤ל H5394 and the head הַבַּרְזֶל֙ H1270 מִן H4480 from the helve הָעֵ֔ץ H6086 and lighteth וּמָצָ֥א H4672 אֶת H853 upon his neighbour רֵעֵ֖הוּ H7453 that he die וָמֵ֑ת H4191 ה֗וּא H1931 he shall flee יָנ֛וּס H5127 אֶל H413 unto one אַחַ֥ת H259 of those cities הֶֽעָרִים H5892 הָאֵ֖לֶּה H428 and live וָחָֽי׃ H2425 6 פֶּן H6435 pursue יִרְדֹּף֩ H7291 Lest the avenger גֹּאֵ֨ל H1350 of the blood הַדָּ֜ם H1818 the slayer אַֽחֲרֵ֣י H310 הָֽרֹצֵ֗חַ H7523 inasmuch as כִּ֠י H3588 is hot יֵחַם֮ H3179 his heart לְבָבוֹ֒ H3824 and overtake וְהִשִּׂיג֛וֹ H5381 inasmuch as כִּ֠י H3588 is long יִרְבֶּ֥ה H7235 him because the way הַדֶּ֖רֶךְ H1870 and slay וְהִכָּ֣הוּ H5221 him נָ֑פֶשׁ H5315 וְלוֹ֙ H0 אֵ֣ין H369 whereas he was not worthy מִשְׁפַּט H4941 of death מָ֔וֶת H4194 inasmuch as כִּ֠י H3588 לֹ֣א H3808 he hated גְּבֻ֣לְךָ֔ H1366 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 as he hath sworn נִשְׁבַּ֖ע H7650 unto thy fathers לַֽאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃ H1 and give לָתֵ֥ת H5414 לְךָ֙ H0 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 thee all the land הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which he promised דִּבֶּ֖ר H1696 and give לָתֵ֥ת H5414 unto thy fathers לַֽאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃ H1 9 כִּֽי H3588 If thou shalt keep תִשְׁמֹר֩ H8104 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all these commandments הַמִּצְוָ֨ה H4687 הַזֹּ֜את H2063 to do לַֽעֲשֹׂתָ֗הּ H6213 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 אָֽנֹכִ֣י H595 them which I command מְצַוְּךָ֮ H6680 ever הַיָּמִ֑ים H3117 to love לְאַֽהֲבָ֞ה H157 אֶת H853 the LORD יְהוָ֧ה H3068 thy God אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ H430 וְלָלֶ֥כֶת H1980 in his ways בִּדְרָכָ֖יו H1870 כָּל H3605 ever הַיָּמִ֑ים H3117 then shalt thou add וְיָֽסַפְתָּ֙ H3254 לְךָ֥ H0 עוֹד֙ H5750 more for thee beside these three הַשָּׁלֹ֥שׁ H7969 cities עָרִ֔ים H5892 עַ֖ל H5921 more for thee beside these three הַשָּׁלֹ֥שׁ H7969 הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ H428 10 וְלֹ֤א H3808 be not shed יִשָּׁפֵךְ֙ H8210 and so blood דָּמִֽים׃ H1818 That innocent נָקִ֔י H5355 in בְּקֶ֣רֶב H7130 thy land אַרְצְךָ֔ H776 אֲשֶׁר֙ H834 which the LORD יְהוָ֣ה H3068 thy God אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ H430 giveth נֹתֵ֥ן H5414 לְךָ֖ H0 thee for an inheritance נַֽחֲלָ֑ה H5159 וְהָיָ֥ה H1961 עָלֶ֖יךָ H5921 and so blood דָּמִֽים׃ H1818 11 וְכִֽי H3588 יִהְיֶ֥ה H1961 But if any man אִישׁ֙ H376 hate שֹׂנֵ֣א H8130 his neighbour לְרֵעֵ֔הוּ H7453 and lie in wait וְאָ֤רַב H693 לוֹ֙ H0 for him and rise up וְקָ֣ם H6965 עָלָ֔יו H5921 against him and smite וְהִכָּ֥הוּ H5221 him mortally נֶ֖פֶשׁ H5315 that he die וָמֵ֑ת H4191 and fleeth וְנָ֕ס H5127 אֶל H413 into one אַחַ֖ת H259 cities הֶֽעָרִ֥ים H5892 of these הָאֵֽל׃ H411 12 shall send וְשָֽׁלְחוּ֙ H7971 Then the elders זִקְנֵ֣י H2205 of his city עִיר֔וֹ H5892 and fetch וְלָֽקְח֥וּ H3947 אֹת֖וֹ H853 מִשָּׁ֑ם H8033 him H3605 for any iniquity עָוֹן֙ H5771 וּלְכָל H3605 or for any sin חַטָּ֔את H2403 בְּכָל H3605 in any sin חֵ֖טְא H2399 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 that he sinneth יֶֽחֱטָ֑א H2398 עַל H5921 at the mouth פִּ֥י H6310 of And the judges הַשֹּֽׁפְטִ֖ים H8199 shall make diligent הֵיטֵ֑ב H3190 וְהִנֵּ֤ה H2009 and behold if the witness הָעֵ֔ד H5707 be a false שֶׁ֖קֶר H8267 and behold if the witness הָעֵ֔ד H5707 be a false שֶׁ֖קֶר H8267 and hath testified עָנָ֥ה H6030 against his brother בְאָחִֽיו׃ H251 19 Then shall ye do לַֽעֲשׂ֣וֹת H6213 ל֔וֹ H0 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 unto him as he had thought זָמַ֖ם H2161 Then shall ye
