thou be not afraid תִירָ֖א H3372 מֵהֶ֑ם H1992 כִּֽי H3588 of them for the LORD יְהוָ֤ה H3068 thy God אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ H430 עִמָּ֔ךְ H5973 is with thee which brought thee up הַמַּֽעַלְךָ֖ H5927 out of the וְיָשֹׁ֣ב H7725 house לְבֵית֑וֹ H1004 פֶּן H6435 lest he die יָמוּת֙ H4191 in the battle בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה H4421 What man וְאִ֥ישׁ H376 and another אַחֵ֖ר H312 and hath not dedicated יַחְנְכֶֽנּוּ׃ H2596 6 וּמִֽי H4310 And what man וְאִ֥ישׁ H376 אֲשֶׁר H834 is he that hath planted נָטַ֥ע H5193 a vineyard כֶּ֙רֶם֙ H3754 וְלֹ֣א H3808 and hath not yet eaten יְחַלְּלֶֽנּוּ׃ H2490 יֵלֵ֖ךְ H1980 and return וְיָשֹׁ֣ב H7725 unto his house לְבֵית֑וֹ H1004 פֶּן H6435 lest he die יָמוּת֙ H4191 in the battle בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה H4421 And what man וְאִ֥ישׁ H376 and another אַחֵ֖ר H312 and hath not yet eaten יְחַלְּלֶֽנּוּ׃ H2490 7 וּמִֽי H4310 And what man וְאִ֥ישׁ H376 אֲשֶׁר H834 is there that hath betrothed אֵרַ֤שׂ H781 a wife אִשָּׁה֙ H802 וְלֹ֣א H3808 and hath not taken יִקָּחֶֽנָּה׃ H3947 יֵלֵ֖ךְ H1980 and return וְיָשֹׁ֣ב H7725 unto his house לְבֵית֑וֹ H1004 פֶּן H6435 lest he die יָמוּת֙ H4191 in the battle בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה H4421 And what man וְאִ֥ישׁ H376 and another אַחֵ֖ר H312 and hath not taken יִקָּחֶֽנָּה׃ H3947 8 further וְיָֽסְפ֣וּ H3254 And the officers הַשֹּֽׁטְרִים֮ H7860 shall speak לְדַבֵּ֣ר H1696 אֶל H413 unto the people הָעָם֒ H5971 and they shall say וְאָֽמְר֗וּ H559 מִֽי H4310 What man הָאִ֤ישׁ H376 is there that is fearful הַיָּרֵא֙ H3373 and fainthearted וְרַ֣ךְ H7390 as well as his heart כִּלְבָבֽוֹ׃ H3824 יֵלֵ֖ךְ H1980 and return וְיָשֹׁ֣ב H7725 unto his house לְבֵית֑וֹ H1004 וְלֹ֥א H3808 faint יִמַּ֛ס H4549 אֶת H853 as well as his heart כִּלְבָבֽוֹ׃ H3824 lest his brethren's אֶחָ֖יו H251 as well as his heart כִּלְבָבֽוֹ׃ H3824 9 וְהָיָ֛ה H1961 have made an end כְּכַלֹּ֥ת H3615 And it shall be when the officers הַשֹּֽׁטְרִ֖ים H7860 of speaking לְדַבֵּ֣ר H1696 אֶל H413 the people הָעָֽם׃ H5971 that they shall make וּפָֽקְד֛וּ H6485 captains שָׂרֵ֥י H8269 of the armies צְבָא֖וֹת H6635 to lead בְּרֹ֥אשׁ H7218 the people הָעָֽם׃ H5971 10 כִּֽי H3588 When thou comest nigh תִקְרַ֣ב H7126 אֶל H413 unto a city עִ֔יר H5892 to fight לְהִלָּחֵ֖ם H3898 עָלֶ֑יהָ H5921 against it then proclaim וְקָרָ֥אתָ H7121 אֵלֶ֖יהָ H413 peace לְשָׁלֽוֹם׃ H7965 11 וְהָיָה֙ H1961 אִם H518 of peace שָׁל֣וֹם H7965 And it shall be if it make thee answer תַּֽעַנְךָ֔ H6030 and open וּפָֽתְחָ֖ה H6605 לָ֑ךְ H0 וְהָיָ֞ה H1961 כָּל H3605 unto thee then it shall be that all the people הָעָ֣ם H5971 that is found הַנִּמְצָא H4672 בָ֗הּ H0 יִֽהְי֥וּ H1961 לְךָ֛ H0 therein shall be tributaries לָמַ֖ס H4522 unto thee and they shall serve וַֽעֲבָדֽוּךָ׃ H5647 12 וְאִם H518 לֹ֤א H3808 And if it will make no peace תַשְׁלִים֙ H7999 עִמָּ֔ךְ H5973 with thee but will make וְעָֽשְׂתָ֥ה H6213 עִמְּךָ֖ H5973 war מִלְחָמָ֑ה H4421 against thee then thou shalt besiege וְצַרְתָּ֖ H6696 עָלֶֽיהָ׃ H5921 13 hath delivered וּנְתָנָ֛הּ H5414 And when the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 thy God אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ H430 it into thine hands בְּיָדֶ֑ךָ H3027 thou shalt smite וְהִכִּיתָ֥ H5221 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 every male זְכוּרָ֖הּ H2138 thereof with the edge לְפִי H6310 of the sword חָֽרֶב׃ H2719 14 רַ֣ק H7535 But the women הַ֠נָּשִׁים H802 and the little ones וְהַטַּ֨ף H2945 and the cattle וְהַבְּהֵמָ֜ה H929 וְכֹל֩ H3605 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 יִֽהְיֶ֥ה H1961 and all that is in the city בָעִ֛יר H5892 כָּל H3605 even all the spoil שְׁלַ֣ל H7998 thereof shalt thou take תָּבֹ֣ז H962 לָ֑ךְ H0 unto thyself and thou shalt eat וְאָֽכַלְתָּ֙ H398 אֶת H853 even all the spoil שְׁלַ֣ל H7998 of thine enemies אֹֽיְבֶ֔יךָ H341 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 hath given נָתַ֛ן H5414 which the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 thy God אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ H430 לָֽךְ׃ H0 15 כֵּ֤ן H3651 Thus shalt thou do תַּֽעֲשֶׂה֙ H6213 לְכָל H3605 are not of the cities מֵעָרֵ֥י H5892 far off הָֽרְחֹקֹ֥ת H7350 מִמְּךָ֖ H4480 which are very מְאֹ֑ד H3966 אֲשֶׁ֛ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 are not of the cities מֵעָרֵ֥י H5892 of these nations הַגּֽוֹיִם H1471 הָאֵ֖לֶּה H428 from thee which הֵֽנָּה׃ H2007 16 רַ֗ק H7535 But of the cities מֵֽעָרֵ֤י H5892 of these people הָֽעַמִּים֙ H5971 הָאֵ֔לֶּה H428 אֲשֶׁר֙ H834 which the LORD יְהוָ֣ה H3068 thy God אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ H430 doth give נֹתֵ֥ן H5414 לְךָ֖ H0 thee for an inheritance נַֽחֲלָ֑ה H5159 לֹ֥א H3808 thou shalt save alive תְחַיֶּ֖ה H2421 כָּל H3605 nothing that breatheth נְשָׁמָֽה׃ H5397 17 כִּֽי H3588 But thou shalt utterly תַּֽחֲרִימֵ֗ם H2763 But thou shalt utterly תַּֽחֲרִימֵ֗ם H2763 them namely the Hittites הַֽחִתִּ֤י H2850 and the Amorites וְהָֽאֱמֹרִי֙ H567 the Canaanites הַכְּנַֽעֲנִ֣י H3669 and the Perizzites וְהַפְּרִזִּ֔י H6522 the Hivites הַֽחִוִּ֖י H2340 and the Jebusites וְהַיְבוּסִ֑י H2983 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 hath commanded צִוְּךָ֖ H6680 as the LORD יְהוָ֥ה H3068 thy God אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ H430 18 לְמַ֗עַן H4616 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 That they teach יְלַמְּד֤וּ H3925 אֶתְכֶם֙ H853 which they have done עָשׂ֖וּ H6213 כְּכֹל֙ H3605 after all their abominations תּֽוֹעֲבֹתָ֔ם H8441 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which they have done עָשׂ֖וּ H6213 unto their gods אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם׃ H430 so should ye sin וַֽחֲטָאתֶ֖ם H2398 against the LORD לַֽיהוָ֥ה H3068 unto their gods אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם׃ H430 19 כִּֽי H3588 When thou shalt besiege תָצ֣וּר H6696 אֶל H413 a city עִיר֩ H5892 time יָמִ֨ים H3117 a long רַבִּ֜ים H7227 in making war לְֽהִלָּחֵ֧ם H3898 עָלֶ֣יהָ H5921 against it to take לְתָפְשָׂ֗הּ H8610 לֹֽא H3808 it thou shalt not destroy תַשְׁחִ֤ית H7843 אֶת H853 for the tree עֵ֣ץ H6086 thereof by forcing לִנְדֹּ֤חַ H5080 עָלָיו֙ H5921 an axe גַּרְזֶ֔ן H1631 כִּ֚י H3588 מִמֶּ֣נּוּ H4480 against them for thou mayest eat תֹאכֵ֔ל H398 וְאֹת֖וֹ H853 לֹ֣א H3808 of them and thou shalt not cut them down תִכְרֹ֑ת H3772 כִּ֤י H3588 is man's הָֽאָדָם֙ H120 for the tree עֵ֣ץ H6086 of the field הַשָּׂדֶ֔ה H7704 life to employ לָבֹ֥א H935
