land בָּֽאֲדָמָה֙ H127 אֲשֶׁר֩ H834 which the LORD יְהוָ֨ה H3068 thy God אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ H430 giveth נֹתֵ֤ן H5414 לְךָ֙ H0 thee to possess לְרִשְׁתָּ֔הּ H3423 it lying נֹפֵ֖ל H5307 in the field בַּשָּׂדֶ֑ה H7704 לֹ֥א H3808 and it be not known נוֹדַ֖ע H3045 מִ֥י H4310 who hath slain הִכָּֽהוּ׃ H5221 2 shall come forth וְיָֽצְא֥וּ H3318 Then thy elders זְקֵנֶ֖יךָ H2205 and thy judges וְשֹֽׁפְטֶ֑יךָ H8199 הָעִ֨יר H5892 הַהִ֜וא H1931 עֶגְלַ֣ת H5697 an heifer בָּקָ֗ר H1241 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 which hath not been wrought with עֻבַּד֙ H5647 בָּ֔הּ H0 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 and which hath not drawn מָשְׁכָ֖ה H4900 in the yoke בְּעֹֽל׃ H5923 4 shall bring down וְהוֹרִ֡דוּ H3381 And the elders זִקְנֵי֩ H2205 of that city הָעִ֨יר H5892 הַהִ֤וא H1931 אֶת H853 the heifer הָֽעֶגְלָ֖ה H5697 אֶל H413 there in the valley בַּנָּֽחַל׃ H5158 unto a rough אֵיתָ֔ן H386 אֲשֶׁ֛ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 which is neither eared יֵעָבֵ֥ד H5647 בּ֖וֹ H0 וְלֹ֣א H3808 nor sown יִזָּרֵ֑עַ H2232 and shall strike off of Levi לֵוִי֒ H3878 כִּ֣י H3588 בָ֗ם H0 hath chosen בָּחַ֞ר H977 for them the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 thy God אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ H430 to minister לְשָׁ֣רְת֔וֹ H8334 unto him and to bless וּלְבָרֵ֖ךְ H1288 in the H5061 6 וְכֹ֗ל H3605 And all the elders זִקְנֵי֙ H2205 of that city הָעִ֣יר H5892 הַהִ֔וא H1931 that are next הַקְּרֹבִ֖ים H7138 אֶל H413 unto the slain הֶֽחָלָ֑ל H2491 man shall wash יִרְחֲצוּ֙ H7364 אֶת H853 their hands יְדֵיהֶ֔ם H3027 עַל H5921 over the heifer הָֽעֶגְלָ֖ה H5697 that is beheaded הָֽעֲרוּפָ֥ה H6202 in the valley בַנָּֽחַל׃ H5158 7 And they shall answer וְעָנ֖וּ H6030 and say וְאָֽמְר֑וּ H559 Our hands יָדֵ֗ינוּ H3027 לֹ֤א H3808 have not shed שָֽׁפְכָה֙ H8210 אֶת H853 this blood הַדָּ֣ם H1818 הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 neither have our eyes וְעֵינֵ֖ינוּ H5869 לֹ֥א H3808 seen רָאֽוּ׃ H7200 8 Be merciful וְנִכַּפֵּ֥ר H3722 unto thy people עַמְּךָ֣ H5971 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 אֲשֶׁר H834 whom thou hast redeemed פָּדִ֙יתָ֙ H6299 O LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 וְאַל H408 and lay תִּתֵּן֙ H5414 And the blood הַדָּֽם׃ H1818 not innocent נָקִ֔י H5355 charge בְּקֶ֖רֶב H7130 unto thy people עַמְּךָ֣ H5971 Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 Be merciful וְנִכַּפֵּ֥ר H3722 לָהֶ֖ם H1992 And the blood הַדָּֽם׃ H1818 9 וְאַתָּ֗ה H859 So shalt thou put away תְּבַעֵ֛ר H1197 blood הַדָּ֥ם H1818 the guilt of innocent הַנָּקִ֖י H5355 from among מִקִּרְבֶּ֑ךָ H7130 כִּֽי H3588 you when thou shalt do against thine enemies אֹֽיְבֶ֑יךָ H341 hath delivered וּנְתָנ֞וֹ H5414 and the LORD יְהוָ֧ה H3068 thy God אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ H430 them into thine hands בְּיָדֶ֖ךָ H3027 and thou hast taken שִׁבְיֽוֹ׃ H7617 and thou hast taken שִׁבְיֽוֹ׃ H7617 11 And seest וְרָאִיתָ֙ H7200 among the captives בַּשִּׁבְיָ֔ה H7633 to thy wife לְאִשָּֽׁה׃ H802 יְפַת H3303 a beautiful תֹּ֑אַר H8389 and hast a desire וְחָֽשַׁקְתָּ֣ H2836 בָ֔הּ H0 unto her that thou wouldest have her וְלָֽקַחְתָּ֥ H3947 לְךָ֖ H0 to thy wife לְאִשָּֽׁה׃ H802 12 Then thou shalt bring וַֽהֲבֵאתָ֖הּ H935 אֶל H413 her home תּ֣וֹךְ H8432 to thine house בֵּיתֶ֑ךָ H1004 and she shall shave וְגִלְּחָה֙ H1548 אֶת H853 her head רֹאשָׁ֔הּ H7218 and pare וְעָֽשְׂתָ֖ה H6213 אֶת H853 her nails צִפָּרְנֶֽיהָ׃ H6856 13 And she shall put וְהֵסִ֩ירָה֩ H5493 אֶת H853 the raiment שִׂמְלַ֨ת H8071 of her captivity שִׁבְיָ֜הּ H7628 מֵֽעָלֶ֗יהָ H5921 from off her and shall remain וְיָֽשְׁבָה֙ H3427 in thine house בְּבֵיתֶ֔ךָ H1004 and bewail וּבָֽכְתָ֛ה H1058 אֶת H853 her father אָבִ֥יהָ H1 וְאֶת H853 and her mother אִמָּ֖הּ H517 month יֶ֣רַח H3391 a full יָמִ֑ים H3117 and after וְאַ֨חַר H310 כֵּ֜ן H3651 that thou shalt go תָּב֤וֹא H935 אֵלֶ֙יהָ֙ H413 וּבְעַלְתָּ֔הּ H1167 וְהָֽיְתָ֥ה H1961 לְךָ֖ H0 and she shall be thy wife לְאִשָּֽׁה׃ H802 14 וְהָיָ֞ה H1961 אִם H518 לֹ֧א H3808 And it shall be if thou have no delight חָפַ֣צְתָּ H2654 בָּ֗הּ H0 in her then thou shalt let her go וְשִׁלַּחְתָּהּ֙ H7971 whither she will לְנַפְשָׁ֔הּ H5315 but thou shalt not sell תִמְכְּרֶ֖נָּה H4376 לֹֽא H3808 but thou shalt not sell תִמְכְּרֶ֖נָּה תִהְיֶ֨יןָ H1961 If a man לְאִ֜ישׁ H376 have two שְׁתֵּ֣י H8147 wives נָשִׁ֗ים H802 and another וְהָֽאַחַ֣ת H259 beloved הָֽאֲהוּבָ֖ה H157 and another וְהָֽאַחַ֣ת H259 and the hated וְהַשְּׂנוּאָ֑ה H8130 and they have born וְיָֽלְדוּ H3205 ל֣וֹ H0 him children הַבֵּ֥ן H1121 beloved הָֽאֲהוּבָ֖ה H157 and the hated וְהַשְּׂנוּאָ֑ה H8130 וְהָיָ֛ה H1961 him children הַבֵּ֥ן H1121 and if the firstborn הַבְּכֹ֖ר H1060 be hers that was hated לַשְּׂנִיאָֽה׃ H8146 16 וְהָיָ֗ה H1961 Then it shall be when בְּיוֹם֙ H3117 to inherit הַנְחִיל֣וֹ H5157 אֶת H853 he maketh his sons בֶן H1121 אֵ֥ת H853 אֲשֶׁר H834 יִֽהְיֶ֖ה H1961 ל֑וֹ H0 לֹ֣א H3808 that which he hath that he may יוּכַ֗ל H3201 which is indeed the firstborn הַבְּכֹֽר׃ H1060 אֶת H853 he maketh his sons בֶן H1121 of the beloved הָ֣אֲהוּבָ֔ה H157 עַל H5921 before פְּנֵ֥י H6440 he maketh his sons בֶן H1121 of the hated הַשְּׂנוּאָ֖ה H8130 which is indeed the firstborn הַבְּכֹֽר׃ H1060 17 כִּי֩ H3588 אֶת H853 for the firstborn הַבְּכֹ֨ר H1060 the son בֶּן H1121 of the hated הַשְּׂנוּאָ֜ה H8130 But he shall acknowledge יַכִּ֗יר H5234 by giving לָ֤תֶת H5414 לוֹ֙ H0 portion פִּ֣י H6310 him a double שְׁנַ֔יִם H8147 בְּכֹ֥ל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 of all that he hath יִמָּצֵ֖א H4672 ל֑וֹ H0 כִּי H3588 הוּא֙ H1931 for he is the beginning רֵאשִׁ֣ית H7225 of his strength אֹנ֔וֹ H202 ל֖וֹ H0 the right מִשְׁפַּ֥ט H4941 of the firstborn הַבְּכֹרָֽה׃ H1062 18 כִּֽי H3588 יִהְיֶ֣ה H1961 If a man לְאִ֗ישׁ H376 son בֵּ֚ן H1121 have a stubborn סוֹרֵ֣ר H5637 and rebellious וּמוֹרֶ֔ה H4784 אֵינֶ֣נּוּ H369 him will not hearken יִשְׁמַ֖ע H8085 or the voice וּבְק֣וֹל H6963 of his father אָבִ֖יו H1 or the voice וּבְק֣וֹל H6963 of his mother אִמּ֑וֹ H517 and that when they have chastened וְיִסְּר֣וּ H3256 אֹת֔וֹ H853 וְלֹ֥א H3808 him will not hearken יִשְׁמַ֖ע H8085 אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ H413 19 lay hold וְתָ֥פְשׂוּ H8610 ב֖וֹ H0 Then shall his father אָבִ֣יו H1 and his mother וְאִמּ֑וֹ H517 on him and bring him out וְהוֹצִ֧יאוּ H3318 אֹת֛וֹ H853 אֶל H413 unto the elders זִקְנֵ֥י H2205 of his city עִיר֖וֹ H5892 וְאֶל H413 and unto the gate שַׁ֥עַר H8179 of his place מְקֹמֽוֹ׃ H4725 20 And they shall say וְאָֽמְר֞וּ H559 אֶל H413 unto the elders זִקְנֵ֣י H2205 of his city עִיר֗וֹ H5892 This our son בְּנֵ֤נוּ H1121 זֶה֙ H2088 is stubborn סוֹרֵ֣ר H5637 and rebellious וּמֹרֶ֔ה H4784 אֵינֶ֥נּוּ H369 he will not obey שֹׁמֵ֖עַ H8085 our voice בְּקֹלֵ֑נוּ H6963 he is a glutton זוֹלֵ֖ל H2151 and a drunkard וְסֹבֵֽא׃ H5433 21 shall stone וּ֠רְגָמֻהוּ H7275 כָּל H3605 אַנְשֵׁ֨י H376 of his city עִיר֤וֹ H5892 him with stones בָֽאֲבָנִים֙ H68 that he die וָמֵ֔ת H4191 away וּבִֽעַרְתָּ֥ H1197 evil הָרָ֖ע H7451 from among מִקִּרְבֶּ֑ךָ H7130 וְכָל H3605 you and all Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל H3478 shall hear יִשְׁמְע֥וּ H8085 and fear וְיִרָֽאוּ׃ H3372 22 וְכִֽי H3588 יִהְיֶ֣ה H1961 And if a man בְאִ֗ישׁ H376 have committed a sin חֵ֛טְא H2399 worthy of מִשְׁפַּט H4941 death מָ֖וֶת H4194 and he be to be put to death וְהוּמָ֑ת H4191 and thou hang וְתָלִ֥יתָ H8518 אֹת֖וֹ H853 עַל H5921 him on a tree עֵֽץ׃ H6086 23 לֹֽא H3808 shall not remain all night תָלִ֨ין H3885 His body נִבְלָת֜וֹ H5038 עַל H5921 upon the tree הָעֵ֗ץ
