הֱבִיאַ֣נִי H935 after that the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 doth drive them out וּבְרִשְׁעַת֙ H3423 אֶת H853 this land הָאָ֣רֶץ H776 הַזֹּ֑את H2063 doth drive them out וּבְרִשְׁעַת֙ H3423 of these nations הַגּוֹיִ֣ם H1471 הָאֵ֔לֶּה H428 after that the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 but for the wickedness מֽוֹרִישָׁ֥ם H7564 from before מִפָּנֶֽיךָ׃ H6440 5 לֹ֣א H3808 Not for thy righteousness בְצִדְקָֽתְךָ֗ H6666 or for the uprightness וּבְיֹ֙שֶׁר֙ H3476 of thine heart לְבָ֣בְךָ֔ H3824 אַתָּ֥ה H859 dost thou go בָ֖א H935 doth drive them out בְּרִשְׁעַ֣ת׀ H3423 אֶת H853 their land אַרְצָ֑ם H776 כִּ֞י H3588 doth drive them out בְּרִשְׁעַ֣ת׀ H3423 of these nations הַגּוֹיִ֣ם H1471 הָאֵ֗לֶּה H428 the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 thy God אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ H430 but for the wickedness מֽוֹרִישָׁ֣ם H7564 from before מִפָּנֶ֔יךָ H1961 against עִם H5973 not how thou provokedst the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 8 Also in Horeb וּבְחֹרֵ֥ב H2722 to wrath הִקְצַפְתֶּ֖ם H7107 אֶת H853 so that the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 was angry וַיִּתְאַנַּ֧ף H599 so that the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 בָּכֶ֖ם H0 with you to have destroyed לְהַשְׁמִ֥יד H8045 אֶתְכֶֽם׃ H853 9 When I was gone up בַּֽעֲלֹתִ֣י H5927 in the mount בָּהָ֗ר H2022 to receive לָקַ֜חַת H3947 even the tables לוּחֹ֣ת H3871 of stone הָֽאֲבָנִים֙ H68 even the tables לוּחֹ֣ת H3871 of the covenant הַבְּרִ֔ית H1285 אֲשֶׁר H834 made כָּרַ֥ת H3772 which the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 עִמָּכֶ֑ם H5973 with you then I abode וָֽאֵשֵׁ֣ב H3427 in the mount בָּהָ֗ר H2022 and forty וְאַרְבָּעִ֣ים H705 days יוֹם֙ H3117 and forty וְאַרְבָּעִ֣ים H705 nights לַ֔יְלָה H3915 bread לֶ֚חֶם H3899 לֹ֣א H3808 I neither did eat אָכַ֔לְתִּי H398 water וּמַ֖יִם H4325 לֹ֥א H3808 nor drink שָׁתִֽיתִי׃ H8354 10 delivered וַיִּתֵּ֨ן H5414 And the LORD יְהוָ֨ה H3068 אֵלַ֗י H413 אֶת H853 unto me two שְׁנֵי֙ H8147 tables לוּחֹ֣ת H3871 of stone הָֽאֲבָנִ֔ים H68 written כְּתֻבִ֖ים H3789 with the finger בְּאֶצְבַּ֣ע H676 of God אֱלֹהִ֑ים H430 וַֽעֲלֵיהֶ֗ם H5921 כְּֽכָל H3605 and on them was written according to all the words הַדְּבָרִ֡ים H1697 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 spake דִּבֶּר֩ H1696 And the LORD יְהוָ֨ה H3068 עִמָּכֶ֥ם H5973 with you in the mount בָּהָ֛ר H2022 out of the midst מִתּ֥וֹךְ H8432 of the fire הָאֵ֖שׁ H784 in the day בְּי֥וֹם H3117 of the assembly הַקָּהָֽל׃ H6951 11 וַיְהִ֗י H1961 And it came to pass at the end מִקֵּץ֙ H7093 and forty וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים H705 days י֔וֹם H3117 and forty וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים H705 nights לָ֑יְלָה H3915 gave נָתַ֨ן H5414 that the LORD יְהוָ֜ה H3068 אֵלַ֗י H413 אֶת H853 me the two שְׁנֵ֛י H8147 even the tables לֻח֥וֹת H3871 of stone הָֽאֲבָנִ֖ים H68 even the tables לֻח֥וֹת H3871 of the covenant הַבְּרִֽית׃ H1285 12 said וַיֹּ֨אמֶר H559 And the LORD יְהוָ֜ה H3068 אֵלַ֗י H413 unto me Arise ק֣וּם H6965 get thee down רֵ֤ד H3381 quickly מַהֵ֗ר H4118 מִזֶּ֔ה H2088 כִּ֚י H3588 have corrupted שִׁחֵ֣ת H7843 from hence for thy people עַמְּךָ֔ H5971 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which thou hast brought forth הוֹצֵ֖אתָ H3318 out of Egypt מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם H4714 turned aside סָ֣רוּ H5493 quickly מַהֵ֗ר H4118 מִן H4480 out of the way הַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ H1870 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which I commanded צִוִּיתִ֔ם H6680 them they have made עָשׂ֥וּ H6213 לָהֶ֖ם H0 them a molten image מַסֵּכָֽה׃ H4541 13 spake לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 Furthermore the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 אֵלַ֣י H413 spake לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 I have seen רָאִ֙יתִי֙ H7200 אֶת H853 people עַם H5971 הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 וְהִנֵּ֥ה H2009 people עַם H5971 קְשֵׁה H7186 and behold it is a stiffnecked עֹ֖רֶף H6203 הֽוּא׃ H1931 14 Let me alone הֶ֤רֶף H7503 מִמֶּ֙נִּי֙ H4480 that I may destroy וְאַשְׁמִידֵ֔ם H8045 them and blot out וְאֶמְחֶ֣ה H4229 אֶת H853 their name שְׁמָ֔ם H8034 מִתַּ֖חַת H8478 from under heaven הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם H8064 and I will make וְאֶֽעֱשֶׂה֙ H6213 of אֽוֹתְךָ֔ H854 thee a nation לְגוֹי H1471 mightier עָצ֥וּם H6099 and greater וָרָ֖ב H7227 מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃ H4480 15 So I turned וָאֵ֗פֶן H6437 and came down וָֽאֵרֵד֙ H3381 מִן H4480 and the mount וְהָהָ֖ר H2022 and the mount וְהָהָ֖ר H2022 burned בֹּעֵ֣ר H1197 with fire בָּאֵ֑שׁ H784 and the two שְׁתֵּ֥י H8147 tables לוּחֹ֣ת H3871 of the covenant הַבְּרִ֔ית H1285 עַ֖ל H5921 and the two שְׁתֵּ֥י H8147 hands יָדָֽי׃ H3027 16 And I looked וָאֵ֗רֶא H7200 וְהִנֵּ֤ה H2009 and behold ye had sinned חֲטָאתֶם֙ H2398 against the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 your God אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם H430 and had made עֲשִׂיתֶ֣ם H6213 לָכֶ֔ם H0 calf עֵ֖גֶל H5695 you a molten מַסֵּכָ֑ה H4541 ye had turned aside סַרְתֶּ֣ם H5493 quickly מַהֵ֔ר H4118 מִן H4480 out of the way הַדֶּ֕רֶךְ H1870 אֲשֶׁר H834 had commanded צִוָּ֥ה H6680 against the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 אֶתְכֶֽם׃ H853 17 And I took וָֽאֶתְפֹּשׂ֙ H8610 my two שְׁתֵּ֣י H8147 tables הַלֻּחֹ֔ת H3871 and cast וָֽאַשְׁלִכֵ֔ם H7993 them out of מֵעַ֖ל H5921 my two שְׁתֵּ֣י H8147 hands יָדָ֑י H3027 and brake וָֽאֲשַׁבְּרֵ֖ם H7665 them before your eyes לְעֵֽינֵיכֶֽם׃ H5869 18 And I fell down וָֽאֶתְנַפַּל֩ H5307 before לִפְנֵ֨י H6440 of the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 as at the first כָּרִֽאשֹׁנָ֗ה H7223 and forty וְאַרְבָּעִ֣ים H705 days יוֹם֙ H3117 and forty וְאַרְבָּעִ֣ים H705 nights לַ֔יְלָה H3915 bread לֶ֚חֶם H3899 לֹ֣א H3808 I did neither eat אָכַ֔לְתִּי H398 water וּמַ֖יִם H4325 לֹ֣א H3808 nor drink שָׁתִ֑יתִי H8354 עַ֤ל H5921 כָּל H3605 because of all your sins חַטַּאתְכֶם֙ H2403 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 which ye sinned חֲטָאתֶ֔ם H2398 in doing לַֽעֲשׂ֥וֹת H6213 wickedly הָרַ֛ע H7451 in the sight בְּעֵינֵ֥י H5869 of the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 to provoke him to anger לְהַכְעִיסֽוֹ׃ H3707 19 כִּ֣י H3588 For I was afraid יָגֹ֗רְתִּי H3025 of מִפְּנֵ֤י H6440 the anger הָאַף֙ H639 and hot displeasure וְהַ֣חֵמָ֔ה H2534 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 was wroth קָצַ֧ף H7107 wherewith the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם H5921 against you to destroy לְהַשְׁמִ֣יד H8045 אֶתְכֶ֑ם H853 hearkened וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע H8085 wherewith the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 אֵלַ֔י H413 גַּ֖ם H1571 unto me at that time בַּפַּ֥עַם H6471 הַהִֽוא׃ H1931 20 for Aaron אַֽהֲרֹ֖ן H175 angry הִתְאַנַּ֧ף H599 And the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 was very מְאֹ֖ד H3966 to have destroyed לְהַשְׁמִיד֑וֹ H8045 him and I prayed וָֽאֶתְפַּלֵּ֛ל H6419 גַּם H1571 בְּעַ֥ד H1157 for Aaron אַֽהֲרֹ֖ן H175 also the same time בָּעֵ֥ת H6256 הַהִֽוא׃ H1931 21 וְֽאֶת H853 your sin חַטַּאתְכֶ֞ם H2403 אֲשֶׁר H834 which ye had made עֲשִׂיתֶ֣ם H6213 אֶת H853 the calf הָעֵ֗גֶל H5695 And I took לָקַחְתִּי֮ H3947 and burnt וָֽאֶשְׂרֹ֣ף H8313 אֹת֣וֹ׀ H853 it with fire בָּאֵשׁ֒ H784 and stamped וָֽאֶכֹּ֨ת H3807 אֹת֤וֹ H853 it and ground טָחוֹן֙ H2912 it very small הֵיטֵ֔ב H3190 עַ֥ד H5704 אֲשֶׁר H834 even until it was as small דַּ֖ק H1854 as dust עֲפָר֔וֹ H6083 and I cast וָֽאַשְׁלִךְ֙ H7993 אֶת H853 as dust עֲפָר֔וֹ H6083 אֶל H413 thereof into the brook הַנַּ֖חַל H5158 that descended out הַיֹּרֵ֥ד H3381 מִן H4480 of the mount הָהָֽר׃ H2022 22 And at Taberah וּבְתַבְעֵרָה֙ H8404 and at Massah וּבְמַסָּ֔ה H4532 וּבְקִבְרֹ֖ת H0 and at Kibrothhattaavah הַֽתַּאֲוָ֑ה H6914 to wrath מַקְצִפִ֥ים H7107 הֱיִיתֶ֖ם H1961 אֶת H853 ye provoked the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 23 sent וּבִשְׁלֹ֨חַ H7971 Likewise when the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 אֶתְכֶ֗ם H853 מִקָּדֵ֤שׁ H0 you from Kadeshbarnea בַּרְנֵ֙עַ֙ H6947 saying לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 Go up עֲלוּ֙ H5927 and possess וּרְשׁ֣וּ H3423 אֶת H853 the land הָאָ֔רֶץ H776 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which I have given נָתַ֖תִּי H5414 לָכֶ֑ם H0 you then ye rebelled וַתַּמְר֗וּ H4784 אֶת H853 against the commandment פִּ֤י H6310 Likewise when the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 your God אֱלֹ֣הֵיכֶ֔ם H430 וְלֹ֤א H3808 and ye believed הֶֽאֱמַנְתֶּם֙ H539 ל֔וֹ H0 וְלֹ֥א H3808 him not nor hearkened שְׁמַעְתֶּ֖ם H8085 to his voice בְּקֹלֽוֹ׃ H6963 24 Ye have been rebellious מַמְרִ֥ים H4784 הֱיִיתֶ֖ם H1961 עִם H5973 against the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 from the day מִיּ֖וֹם H3117 that I knew דַּעְתִּ֥י H3045 אֶתְכֶֽם׃ H853 25 Thus I fell down הִתְנַפָּ֑לְתִּי H5307 before לִפְנֵ֣י H6440 at the first because the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 אֵ֣ת H853 and forty אַרְבָּעִ֥ים H705 days הַיּ֛וֹם H3117 וְאֶת H853 and forty אַרְבָּעִ֥ים H705 nights הַלַּ֖יְלָה H3915 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 Thus I fell down הִתְנַפָּ֑לְתִּי H5307 כִּֽי H3588 had said אָמַ֥ר H559 at the first because the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 he would destroy לְהַשְׁמִ֥יד H8045 אֶתְכֶֽם׃ H853 26 I prayed וָֽאֶתְפַּלֵּ֣ל H6419 אֶל H413 therefore unto the LORD יְהוִ֗ה H3068 and said וָֽאֹמַר֒ H559 O Lord אֲדֹנָ֣י H136 therefore unto the LORD יְהוִ֗ה H3068 אַל H408 destroy תַּשְׁחֵ֤ת H7843 not thy people עַמְּךָ֙ H5971 and thine inheritance וְנַחֲלָ֣תְךָ֔ H5159 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which thou hast redeemed פָּדִ֖יתָ H6299 through thy greatness בְּגָדְלֶ֑ךָ H1433 אֲשֶׁר H834 which thou hast brought forth הוֹצֵ֥אתָ H3318 out of Egypt מִמִּצְרַ֖יִם H4714 hand בְּיָ֥ד H3027 with a mighty חֲזָקָֽה׃ H2389 27 Remember זְכֹר֙ H2142 thy servants לַֽעֲבָדֶ֔יךָ H5650 Abraham לְאַבְרָהָ֥ם H85 Isaac לְיִצְחָ֖ק H3327 and Jacob וּֽלְיַעֲקֹ֑ב H3290 אַל H408 look תֵּ֗פֶן H6437 אֶל H413 not unto the stubbornness קְשִׁי֙ H7190 of this people הָעָ֣ם H5971 הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 וְאֶל H413 nor to their wickedness רִשְׁע֖וֹ H7562 וְאֶל H413 nor to their sin חַטָּאתֽוֹ׃ H2403 28 פֶּן H6435 say יֹֽאמְר֗וּ H559 Lest the land הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 them he hath brought them out הֽוֹצִיאָ֖ם H3318 מִשָּׁם֒ H8033 מִבְּלִי֙ H1097 was not able יְכֹ֣לֶת H3201 Because the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 to bring לַֽהֲבִיאָ֕ם H935 אֶל H413 Lest the land הָאָ֖רֶץ H776 אֲשֶׁר H834 which he promised דִּבֶּ֣ר H1696 לָהֶ֑ם H0 them and because he hated וּמִשִּׂנְאָת֣וֹ H8135 אוֹתָ֔ם H853 them he hath brought them out הֽוֹצִיאָ֖ם H3318 to slay לַֽהֲמִתָ֥ם
