וְהַחֲכָמִ֛ים H2450 and their works וַעֲבָדֵיהֶ֖ם H5652 are in the hand בְּיַ֣ד H3027 of God הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים H430 either גַם H1571 love אַהֲבָ֣ה H160 either גַם H1571 or hatred שִׂנְאָ֗ה H8135 אֵ֤ין H369 birds וְכַ֨צִּפֳּרִ֔ים H6833 that are caught הָאֲחֻז֖וֹת H270 in the snare בַּפָּ֑ח H6341 so כָּהֵ֗ם H1992 snared יֽוּקָשִׁים֙ H3369 are the sons בְּנֵ֣י H1121 For man הָֽאָדָ֔ם H120 not his time לְעֵ֣ת H6256 in an evil רָעָ֔ה H7451 when it falleth כְּשֶׁתִּפּ֥וֹל H5307 עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם H5921 suddenly פִּתְאֹֽם׃ H6597 13 גַּם H1571 This זֹ֛ה H2090 have I seen רָאִ֥יתִי H7200 wisdom חָכְמָ֖ה H2451 תַּ֣חַת H8478 also under the sun הַשָּׁ֑מֶשׁ H8121 and it seemed great וּגְדוֹלָ֥ה H1419 הִ֖יא H1931 אֵלָֽי׃ H413 14 city עִ֣יר H5892 There was a little קְטַנָּ֔ה H6996 men וַאֲנָשִׁ֥ים H582 בָּ֖הּ H0 and few מְעָ֑ט H4592 within it and there came וּבָֽא H935 אֵלֶ֜יהָ H413 king מֶ֤לֶךְ H4428 a great גְּדֹלִֽים׃ H1419 against it and besieged וְסָבַ֣ב H5437 אֹתָ֔הּ H853 it and built וּבָנָ֥ה H1129 עָלֶ֖יהָ H5921 bulwarks מְצוֹדִ֥ים H4685 a great גְּדֹלִֽים׃ H1419 15 Now there was found וּמָ֣צָא H4672 בָ֗הּ H0 man הָאִ֥ישׁ H376 in it a poor הַמִּסְכֵּ֖ן H4542 wise חָכָ֔ם H2450 delivered וּמִלַּט H4422 ה֥וּא H1931 אֶת H853 the city הָעִ֖יר H5892 and he by his wisdom בְּחָכְמָת֑וֹ H2451 yet no man וְאָדָם֙ H120 לֹ֣א H3808 remembered זָכַ֔ר H2142 אֶת H853 man הָאִ֥ישׁ H376 in it a poor הַמִּסְכֵּ֖ן H4542 הַהֽוּא׃ H1931 16 Then said וְאָמַ֣רְתִּי H559 אָ֔נִי H589 is better טוֹבָ֥ה H2896 I Wisdom וְחָכְמַ֤ת H2451 than strength מִגְּבוּרָ֑ה H1369 I Wisdom וְחָכְמַ֤ת H2451 nevertheless
