came וַ֠תָּבוֹאינָה H935 maids נַֽעֲר֨וֹת H5291 So Esther's אֶסְתֵּ֤ר H635 and her chamberlains וְסָֽרִיסֶ֙יהָ֙ H5631 and told וַיַּגִּ֣ידוּ H5046 לָ֔הּ H0 grieved וַתִּתְחַלְחַ֥ל H2342 it her Then was the queen הַמַּלְכָּ֖ה H4436 exceedingly מְאֹ֑ד H3966 and she sent וַתִּשְׁלַ֨ח H7971 raiment בְּגָדִ֜ים H899 to clothe לְהַלְבִּ֣ישׁ H3847 אֶֽת H853 Mordecai מָרְדֳּכַ֗י H4782 and to take away וּלְהָסִ֥יר H5493 his sackcloth שַׂקּ֛וֹ H8242 מֵֽעָלָ֖יו H5921 וְלֹ֥א H3808 from him but he received קִבֵּֽל׃ H6901 5 Then called וַתִּקְרָא֩ H7121 Esther אֶסְתֵּ֨ר H635 for Hatach לַֽהֲתָ֜ךְ H2047 chamberlains מִסָּֽרִיסֵ֤י H5631 one of the king's הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 whom he had appointed הֶֽעֱמִ֣יד H5975 to attend לְפָנֶ֔יהָ H6440 upon her and gave him a commandment וַתְּצַוֵּ֖הוּ H6680 עַֽל H5921 to Mordecai מָרְדֳּכָ֑י H4782 to know לָדַ֥עַת H3045 מַה H4100 זֶּ֖ה H2088 וְעַל H5921 מַה H4100 זֶּֽה׃ H2088 6 went forth וַיֵּצֵ֥א H3318 So Hatach הֲתָ֖ךְ H2047 אֶֽל H413 to Mordecai מָרְדֳּכָ֑י H4782 אֶל H413 unto the street רְח֣וֹב H7339 of the city הָעִ֔יר H5892 אֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 which was before לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 gate שַֽׁעַר H8179 the king's הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 7 told וַיַּגֶּד H5046 ל֣וֹ H0 And Mordecai מָרְדֳּכַ֔י H4782 אֵ֖ת H853 כָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 him of all that had happened קָרָ֑הוּ H7136 וְאֵ֣ת׀ H853 unto him and of the sum פָּֽרָשַׁ֣ת H6575 of the money הַכֶּ֗סֶף H3701 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 had promised אָמַ֤ר H559 that Haman הָמָן֙ H2001 to pay לִ֠שְׁקוֹל H8254 עַל H5921 treasuries גִּנְזֵ֥י H1595 to the king's הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ H4428 for the Jews בַּיְּהוּדִ֖יים H3064 to destroy לְאַבְּדָֽם׃ H6 8 וְאֶת H853 him the copy פַּתְשֶׁ֣גֶן H6572 of the writing כְּתָֽב H3791 of the decree הַ֠דָּת H1881 אֲשֶׁר H834 Also he gave נָ֣תַן H5414 at Shushan בְּשׁוּשָׁ֤ן H7800 to destroy לְהַשְׁמִידָם֙ H8045 Also he gave נָ֣תַן H5414 ל֔וֹ H0 them to shew לְהַרְא֥וֹת H7200 אֶת H853 it unto Esther אֶסְתֵּ֖ר H635 and to declare וּלְהַגִּ֣יד H5046 לָ֑הּ H0 it unto her and to charge וּלְצַוּ֣וֹת H6680 עָלֶ֗יהָ H5921 her that she should go in לָב֨וֹא H935 אֶל H413 unto the king הַמֶּ֧לֶךְ H4428 to make supplication לְהִֽתְחַנֶּן H2603 ל֛וֹ H0 unto him and to make request וּלְבַקֵּ֥שׁ H1245 before מִלְּפָנָ֖יו H6440 עַל H5921 him for her people עַמָּֽהּ׃ H5971 9 came וַיָּב֖וֹא H935 And Hatach הֲתָ֑ךְ H2047 and told וַיַּגֵּ֣ד H5046 Esther לְאֶסְתֵּ֔ר H635 אֵ֖ת H853 the words דִּבְרֵ֥י H1697 of Mordecai מָרְדֳּכָֽי׃ H4782 10 spake וַתֹּ֤אמֶר H559 Again Esther אֶסְתֵּר֙ H635 unto Hatach לַֽהֲתָ֔ךְ H2047 and gave him commandment וַתְּצַוֵּ֖הוּ H6680 אֶֽל H413 unto Mordecai מָרְדֳּכָֽי׃ H4782 11 כָּל H3605 servants עַבְדֵ֣י H5650 All the king's הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 and the people וְעַם H5971 provinces מְדִינ֨וֹת H4082 All the king's הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 do know יֽוֹדְעִ֗ים H3045 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 כָּל H3605 that whosoever whether man אִ֣ישׁ H376 or woman וְאִשָּׁ֡ה H802 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 shall come לָב֣וֹא H935 אֶל H413 All the king's הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 אֶל H413 court הֶֽחָצֵ֨ר H2691 into the inner הַפְּנִימִ֜ית H6442 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 but I have not been called נִקְרֵ֙אתִי֙ H7121 there is one אַחַ֤ת H259 law דָּתוֹ֙ H1881 of his to put him to death לְהָמִ֔ית H4191 except לְ֠בַד H905 מֵֽאֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 shall hold out יֽוֹשִׁיט H3447 ל֥וֹ H0 All the king's הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 אֶת H853 sceptre שַׁרְבִ֥יט H8275 the golden הַזָּהָ֖ב H2091 that he may live וְחָיָ֑ה H2421 וַֽאֲנִ֗י H589 לֹ֤א H3808 but I have not been called נִקְרֵ֙אתִי֙ H7121 shall come לָב֣וֹא H935 אֶל H413 All the king's הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ H4428 זֶ֖ה H2088 these thirty שְׁלוֹשִׁ֥ים H7970 days יֽוֹם׃ H3117 12 And they told וַיַּגִּ֣ידוּ H5046 to Mordecai לְמָרְדֳּכָ֔י H4782 אֵ֖ת H853 words דִּבְרֵ֥י H1697 Esther's אֶסְתֵּֽר׃ H635 13 commanded וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 Then Mordecai מָרְדֳּכַ֖י H4782 to answer לְהָשִׁ֣יב H7725 אֶל H413 Esther אֶסְתֵּ֑ר H635 אַל H408 Think תְּדַמִּ֣י H1819 not with thyself בְנַפְשֵׁ֔ךְ H5315 that thou shalt escape לְהִמָּלֵ֥ט H4422 house בֵּית H1004 in the king's הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ H4428 מִכָּל H3605 more than all the Jews הַיְּהוּדִֽים׃ H3064 14 כִּ֣י H3588 אִם H518 For if thou altogether תַּֽחֲרִישִׁי֮ H2790 For if thou altogether תַּֽחֲרִישִׁי֮ H2790 at this time כָּזֹ֔את H2063 whether thou art come הִגַּ֖עַתְּ H5060 to the kingdom לַמַּלְכֽוּת׃ H4438 15 bade וַתֹּ֥אמֶר H559 Then Esther אֶסְתֵּ֖ר H635 them return לְהָשִׁ֥יב H7725 אֶֽל H413 Mordecai מָרְדֳּכָֽי׃ H4782 16 לֵךְ֩ H1980 gather together כְּנ֨וֹס H3664 אֶת H853 כָּל H3605 all the Jews הַיְּהוּדִ֜ים H3064 that are present הַֽנִּמְצְאִ֣ים H4672 in Shushan בְּשׁוּשָׁ֗ן H7800 and fast אָצ֣וּם H6684 עָ֠לַי H5921 וְאַל H408 ye for me and neither eat תֹּֽאכְל֨וּ H398 וְאַל H408 nor drink תִּשְׁתּ֜וּ H8354 three שְׁלֹ֤שֶׁת H7969 days וָי֔וֹם H3117 night לַ֣יְלָה H3915 days וָי֔וֹם H3117 גַּם H1571 אֲנִ֥י H589 I also and my maidens וְנַֽעֲרֹתַ֖י H5291 and fast אָצ֣וּם H6684 likewise and so וּבְכֵ֞ן H3651 likewise and so וּבְכֵ֞ן H3651 will I go אָב֤וֹא H935 אֶל H413 in unto the king הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 לֹֽא H3808 which is not according to the law כַדָּ֔ת H1881 וְכַֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 I perish אָבָֽדְתִּי׃ H6 I perish אָבָֽדְתִּי׃ H6 17 went his way וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֖ר H5674 So
