הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֗י H7992 put on וַתִּלְבַּ֤שׁ H3847 that Esther אֶסְתֵּר֙ H635 her royal הַמַּלְכ֔וּת H4438 apparel and stood וַֽתַּעֲמֹ֞ד H5975 court בַּֽחֲצַ֤ר H2691 house הַבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 and the king וְ֠הַמֶּלֶךְ H4428 in the inner הַפְּנִימִ֔ית H6442 over against נֹ֖כַח H5227 house הַבָּֽיִת׃ H1004 and the king וְ֠הַמֶּלֶךְ H4428 and the king וְ֠הַמֶּלֶךְ H4428 sat יוֹשֵׁ֞ב H3427 עַל H5921 throne H7200 And it was so when the king הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ H4428 אֶת H853 Esther אֶסְתֵּ֔ר H635 the queen הַמַּלְכָּ֗ה H4436 standing עֹמֶ֙דֶת֙ H5975 in the court בֶּֽחָצֵ֔ר H2691 that she obtained נָֽשְׂאָ֥ה H5375 favour חֵ֖ן H2580 in his sight בְּעֵינָ֑יו H5869 held out וַיּ֨וֹשֶׁט H3447 And it was so when the king הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ H4428 Esther אֶסְתֵּ֔ר H635 אֶת H853 of the sceptre הַשַּׁרְבִֽיט׃ H8275 the golden הַזָּהָב֙ H2091 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 that was in his hand בְּיָד֔וֹ H3027 drew near וַתִּקְרַ֣ב H7126 Esther אֶסְתֵּ֔ר H635 and touched וַתִּגַּ֖ע H5060 the top בְּרֹ֥אשׁ H7218 of the sceptre הַשַּׁרְבִֽיט׃ בַּקָּֽשָׁתֵ֛ךְ H1246 עַד H5704 thee to the half חֲצִ֥י H2677 of the kingdom הַמַּלְכ֖וּת H4438 it shall be even given וְיִנָּ֥תֵֽן H5414 לָֽךְ׃ H0 4 answered וַתֹּ֣אמֶר H559 And Esther אֶסְתֵּ֔ר H635 אִם H518 עַל H5921 let the king הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ H4428 If it seem good ט֑וֹב H2895 come יָב֨וֹא H935 let the king הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ H4428 and Haman וְהָמָן֙ H2001 this day הַיּ֔וֹם H3117 אֶל H413 unto the banquet הַמִּשְׁתֶּ֖ה H4960 אֲשֶׁר H834 that I have prepared עָשִׂ֥יתִי H6213 לֽוֹ׃ H0 5 said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 So the king הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 to make haste מַֽהֲרוּ֙ H4116 אֶת H853 Cause Haman וְהָמָ֔ן H2001 had prepared עָֽשְׂתָ֥ה H6213 אֶת H853 hath said דְּבַ֣ר H1697 as Esther אֶסְתֵּֽר׃ H635 came וַיָּבֹ֤א H935 So the king הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ H4428 Cause Haman וְהָמָ֔ן H2001 אֶל H413 to the banquet הַמִּשְׁתֶּ֖ה H4960 אֲשֶׁר H834 had prepared עָֽשְׂתָ֥ה H6213 as Esther אֶסְתֵּֽר׃ H635 6 said וַיֹּ֨אמֶר H559 And the king הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ H4428 unto Esther לְאֶסְתֵּר֙ H635 at the banquet בְּמִשְׁתֵּ֣ה H4960 of wine הַיַּ֔יִן H3196 מַה H4100 What is thy petition שְּׁאֵֽלָתֵ֖ךְ H7596 and it shall be granted וְיִנָּ֣תֵֽן H5414 לָ֑ךְ H0 וּמַה H4100 thee and what is thy request בַּקָּֽשָׁתֵ֛ךְ H1246 עַד H5704 even to the half חֲצִ֥י H2677 of the kingdom הַמַּלְכ֖וּת H4438 it shall be performed וְתֵעָֽשׂ׃ H6213 7 Then answered וַתַּ֥עַן H6030 Esther אֶסְתֵּ֖ר H635 and said וַתֹּאמַ֑ר H559 My petition שְׁאֵֽלָתִ֖י H7596 and my request וּבַקָּֽשָׁתִֽי׃ H1246 8 אִם H518 If I have found מָצָ֨אתִי H4672 favour חֵ֜ן H2580 in the sight בְּעֵינֵ֣י H5869 as the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 וְאִם H518 עַל H5921 as the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 and if it please ט֔וֹב H2895 to grant לָתֵת֙ H5414 אֶת H853 my petition שְׁאֵ֣לָתִ֔י H7596 and to perform אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֖ה H6213 אֶת H853 my request בַּקָּֽשָׁתִ֑י H1246 come יָב֧וֹא H935 as the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 and Haman וְהָמָ֗ן H2001 אֶל H413 to the banquet הַמִּשְׁתֶּה֙ H4960 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 and to perform אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֖ה H6213 לָהֶ֔ם H0 to morrow וּמָחָ֥ר H4279 and to perform אֶֽעֱשֶׂ֖ה H6213 hath said כִּדְבַ֥ר H1697 as the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 9 Then went וַיֵּצֵ֤א H3318 Haman הָמָ֛ן H2001 that day בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 הַה֔וּא H1931 joyful שָׂמֵ֖חַ H8056 and with a glad וְט֣וֹב H2896 heart לֵ֑ב H3820 saw וְכִרְאוֹת֩ H7200 Haman הָמָ֛ן H2001 אֶֽת H853 Mordecai מָרְדֳּכַ֖י H4782 gate בְּשַׁ֣עַר H8179 in the king's הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ H4428 וְלֹא H3808 that he stood not up קָם֙ H6965 וְלֹא H3808 nor moved זָ֣ע H2111 מִמֶּ֔נּוּ H4480 was full וַיִּמָּלֵ֥א H4390 Haman הָמָ֛ן H2001 עַֽל H5921 Mordecai מָרְדֳּכַ֖י H4782 of indignation חֵמָֽה׃ H2534 10 refrained וַיִּתְאַפַּ֣ק H662 Nevertheless Haman הָמָ֔ן H2001 and called וַיָּבֵ֥א H935 אֶל H413 home בֵּית֑וֹ H1004 he sent וַיִּשְׁלַ֛ח H7971 and called וַיָּבֵ֥א H935 אֶת H853 for his friends אֹֽהֲבָ֖יו H157 וְאֶת H853 and Zeresh זֶ֥רֶשׁ H2238 his wife אִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃ H802 11 told וַיְסַפֵּ֨ר H5608 לָהֶ֥ם H1992 And Haman הָמָ֛ן H2001 אֶת H853 them of the glory כְּב֥וֹד H3519 of his riches עָשְׁר֖וֹ H6239 and the multitude וְרֹ֣ב H7230 of his children בָּנָ֑יו H1121 וְאֵת֩ H853 כָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 had promoted גִּדְּל֤וֹ H1431 and all the things wherein the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 וְאֵ֣ת H853 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 him and how he had advanced נִשְּׂא֔וֹ H5375 עַל H5921 him above the princes הַשָּׂרִ֖ים H8269 and servants וְעַבְדֵ֥י H5650 and all the things wherein the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 12 said וַיֹּאמֶר֮ H559 Haman הָמָן֒ H2001 אַ֣ף H637 לֹֽא H3808 did let no man come in הֵבִיאָה֩ H935 moreover Yea Esther אֶסְתֵּ֨ר H635 the queen הַמַּלְכָּ֧ה H4436 עִם H5973 unto her also with the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 אֶל H413 unto the banquet הַמִּשְׁתֶּ֥ה H4960 אֲשֶׁר H834 that she had prepared עָשָׂ֖תָה H6213 כִּ֣י H3588 אִם H518 אוֹתִ֑י H853 וְגַם H1571 but myself and to morrow לְמָחָ֛ר H4279 אֲנִ֥י H589 am I invited קָֽרוּא H7121 לָ֖הּ H0 עִם H5973 unto her also with the king הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 13 וְכָל H3605 זֶ֕ה H2088 אֵינֶ֥נּוּ H369 Yet all this availeth שׁוֶֹ֖ה H7737 לִ֑י H0 בְּכָל H3605 me nothing so long as עֵ֗ת H6256 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 אֲנִ֤י H589 I see רֹאֶה֙ H7200 אֶת H853 Mordecai מָרְדֳּכַ֣י H4782 the Jew הַיְּהוּדִ֔י H3064 sitting יוֹשֵׁ֖ב H3427 gate בְּשַׁ֥עַר H8179 at the king's הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ H4428 14 Then said אֱמֹ֣ר H559 לוֹ֩ H0 Zeresh זֶ֨רֶשׁ H2238 his wife אִשְׁתּ֜וֹ H802 וְכָל H3605 and all his friends אֹֽהֲבָ֗יו H157 and he caused וַיַּ֥עַשׂ H6213 the gallows הָעֵֽץ׃ H6086 high גָּבֹ֣הַּ H1364 of fifty חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים H2572 cubits אַמָּה֒ H520 and to morrow וּבַבֹּ֣קֶר׀ H1242 Then said אֱמֹ֣ר H559 thou unto the king הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ H4428 may be hanged וְיִתְל֤וּ H8518 אֶֽת H853 that Mordecai מָרְדֳּכַי֙ H4782 עָלָ֔יו H5921 thereon then go וּבֹֽא H935 עִם H5973 thou unto the king הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ H4428 אֶל H413 unto the banquet הַמִּשְׁתֶּ֖ה H4960 thou in merrily
