H935 2 Reuben רְאוּבֵ֣ן H7205 Simeon שִׁמְע֔וֹן H8095 Levi לֵוִ֖י H3878 and Judah וִֽיהוּדָֽה׃ H3063 3 Issachar יִשָּׂשכָ֥ר H3485 Zebulun זְבוּלֻ֖ן H2074 and Benjamin וּבְנְיָמִֽן׃ H1144 4 Dan דָּ֥ן H1835 and Naphtali וְנַפְתָּלִ֖י H5321 Gad גָּ֥ד H1410 and Asher וְאָשֵֽׁר׃ H836 5 וַֽיְהִ֗י H1961 כָּל H3605 And all the souls נָ֑פֶשׁ H5315 that came out יֹֽצְאֵ֥י H3318 of the loins יֶֽרֶךְ H3409 of Jacob יַעֲקֹ֖ב H3290 were seventy שִׁבְעִ֣ים H7657 And all the souls נָ֑פֶשׁ H5315 for Joseph וְיוֹסֵ֖ף H3130 הָיָ֥ה H1961 was in Egypt בְמִצְרָֽיִם׃ H4714 6 died וַיָּ֤מָת H4191 And Joseph יוֹסֵף֙ H5921 also unto our enemies שֹׂ֣נְאֵ֔ינוּ H8130 and fight וְנִלְחַם H3898 בָּ֖נוּ H0 against us and so get them up וְעָלָ֥ה H5927 מִן H4480 out of the land הָאָֽרֶץ׃ H776 11 Therefore they did set וַיָּשִׂ֤ימוּ H7760 עָלָיו֙ H5921 שָׂרֵ֣י H8269 over them taskmasters מִסִּ֔ים H4522 לְמַ֥עַן H4616 to afflict עַנֹּת֖וֹ H6031 them with their burdens בְּסִבְלֹתָ֑ם H5450 And they built וַיִּ֜בֶן H1129 cities עָרֵ֤י H5892 treasure מִסְכְּנוֹת֙ H4543 for Pharaoh לְפַרְעֹ֔ה H6547 אֶת H853 Pithom פִּתֹ֖ם H6619 וְאֶת H853 and Raamses רַֽעַמְסֵֽס׃ H7486 12 וְכַֽאֲשֶׁר֙ H834 But the more they afflicted יְעַנּ֣וּ H6031 אֹת֔וֹ H853 them the more וְכֵ֣ן H3651 they multiplied יִרְבֶּ֖ה H7235 them the more וְכֵ֣ן H3651 and grew יִפְרֹ֑ץ H6555 And they were grieved וַיָּקֻ֕צוּ H6973 because הָֽעִבְרִיֹּ֑ת H5680 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 and the name וְשֵׁ֥ם H8034 of the one הָֽאַחַת֙ H259 was Shiphrah שִׁפְרָ֔ה H8236 and the name וְשֵׁ֥ם H8034 of the other הַשֵּׁנִ֖ית H8145 Puah פּוּעָֽה׃ H6326 16 And he said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 When ye do the office of a midwife בְּיַלֶּדְכֶן֙ H3205 אֶת H853 to the Hebrew women הָֽעִבְרִיּ֔וֹת H5680 and see וּרְאִיתֶ֖ן H7200 עַל H5921 them upon the stools הָֽאָבְנָ֑יִם H70 אִם H518 if it be a son בֵּ֥ן H1121 הוּא֙ H1931 then ye shall kill וַֽהֲמִתֶּ֣ן H4191 אֹת֔וֹ H853 וְאִם H518 him but if it be a daughter בַּ֥ת H1323 הִ֖וא H1931 then she shall live וָחָֽיָה׃ H2425 17 feared וַתִּירֶ֤אןָ H3372 But the midwives הַֽמְיַלְּדֹת֙ H3205 אֶת H853 God הָ֣אֱלֹהִ֔ים H430 וְלֹ֣א H3808 and did עָשׂ֔וּ H6213 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר H834 commanded דִּבֶּ֥ר H1696 אֲלֵיהֶ֖ן H413 not as the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Egypt מִצְרָ֑יִם H4714 alive וַתְּחַיֶּ֖יןָ H2421 אֶת H853 the men children הַיְלָדִֽים׃ H3206 18 called וַיִּקְרָ֤א H7121 And the king מֶֽלֶךְ H4428 of Egypt מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ H4714 for the midwives לַֽמְיַלְּדֹ֔ת H3205 and said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר H559 לָהֶ֔ן H0 unto them Why מַדּ֥וּעַ H4069 have ye done עֲשִׂיתֶ֖ן H6213 this thing הַדָּבָ֣ר H1697 הַזֶּ֑ה H2088 alive וַתְּחַיֶּ֖יןָ H2421 אֶת H853 the men children הַיְלָדִֽים׃ H3206 19 said וַתֹּאמַ֤רְןָ H559 And the midwives וְיָלָֽדוּ׃ H3205 אֶל H413 unto Pharaoh פַּרְעֹ֔ה H6547 כִּ֣י H3588 לֹ֧א H3808 women כַנָּשִׁ֛ים H802 are not as the Egyptian women הַמִּצְרִיֹּ֖ת H4713 Because the Hebrew הָֽעִבְרִיֹּ֑ת H5680 כִּֽי H3588 for they are lively חָי֣וֹת H2422 הֵ֔נָּה H2007 ere בְּטֶ֨רֶם H2962 come in תָּב֧וֹא H935 אֲלֵהֶ֛ן H413 And the midwives וְיָלָֽדוּ׃ H3205 And the midwives וְיָלָֽדוּ׃ H3205 20 dealt well וַיֵּ֥יטֶב H3190 Therefore God אֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 with the midwives לַֽמְיַלְּדֹ֑ת H3205 multiplied וַיִּ֧רֶב H7235 and the people הָעָ֛ם H5971 mighty וַיַּֽעַצְמ֖וּ H6105 and waxed very מְאֹֽד׃ H3966 21 וַיְהִ֕י H1961 כִּֽי H3588 feared יָרְא֥וּ H3372 And it came to pass because the midwives הַֽמְיַלְּדֹ֖ת H3205 אֶת H853 God הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים H430 that he made וַיַּ֥עַשׂ H6213 לָהֶ֖ם H0 them houses בָּתִּֽים׃ H1004 22 charged וַיְצַ֣ו H6680 And Pharaoh פַּרְעֹ֔ה H6547 לְכָל H3605 all his people עַמּ֖וֹ H5971 saying לֵאמֹ֑ר H559 כָּל H3605 Every son הַבֵּ֣ן H1121 that is born הַיִּלּ֗וֹד H3209 into the river הַיְאֹ֙רָה֙ H2975 ye shall cast תַּשְׁלִיכֻ֔הוּ H7993 וְכָל H3605 and
