אֶתְכֶ֛ם H853 and out of the hand יַד H3027 of the Egyptians מִצְרָֽיִם׃ H4714 and out of the hand יַד H3027 of Pharaoh פַּרְעֹ֑ה H6547 אֲשֶׁ֤ר H834 who hath delivered הִצִּיל֙ H5337 אֶת H853 the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 מִתַּ֖חַת H8478 and out of the hand יַד H3027 of the Egyptians מִצְרָֽיִם׃ H4714 11 עַתָּ֣ה H6258 Now I know יָדַ֔עְתִּי H3045 כִּֽי H3588 is greater גָד֥וֹל H1419 that the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 מִכָּל H3605 than all gods הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים H430 כִּ֣י H3588 for in the thing בַדָּבָ֔ר H1697 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 wherein they dealt proudly זָד֖וּ H2102 עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ H5921 12 took וַיִּקַּ֞ח H3947 And Jethro יִתְר֨וֹ H3503 father in law חֹתֵ֥ן H2859 Moses מֹשֶׁ֖ה H4872 a burnt offering עֹלָ֥ה H5930 and sacrifices וּזְבָחִ֖ים H2077 God הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃ H430 came וַיָּבֹ֨א H935 and Aaron אַֽהֲרֹ֜ן H175 וְכֹ֣ל׀ H3605 and all the elders זִקְנֵ֣י H2205 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל H3478 to eat לֶֽאֱכָל H398 bread לֶ֛חֶם H3899 עִם H5973 father in law חֹתֵ֥ן H2859 Moses מֹשֶׁ֖ה H4872 before לִפְנֵ֥י H6440 God הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃ H430 13 וַֽיְהִי֙ H1961 And it came to pass on the morrow מִֽמָּחֳרָ֔ת H4283 sat וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב H3427 by Moses מֹשֶׁ֔ה H4872 to judge לִשְׁפֹּ֣ט H8199 אֶת H853 and the people הָעָם֙ H5971 stood וַיַּֽעֲמֹ֤ד H5975 and the people הָעָם֙ H5971 עַל H5921 by Moses מֹשֶׁ֔ה H4872 מִן H4480 from the morning הַבֹּ֖קֶר H1242 עַד H5704 unto the evening הָעָֽרֶב׃ H6153 14 saw וַיַּרְא֙ H7200 father in law חֹתֵ֣ן H2859 And when Moses מֹשֶׁ֔ה H4872 אֵ֛ת H853 כָּל H3605 אֲשֶׁר H834 ה֥וּא H1931 all that he did עֹשֶׂה֙ H6213 thou thyself alone and all the people הָעָ֛ם H5971 he said וַיֹּ֗אמֶר H559 מָֽה H4100 What is this thing הַדָּבָ֤ר H1697 הַזֶּה֙ H2088 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 אַתָּ֤ה H859 all that he did עֹשֶׂה֙ H6213 thou thyself alone and all the people הָעָ֛ם H5971 מַדּ֗וּעַ H4069 אַתָּ֤ה H859 why sittest יוֹשֵׁב֙ H3427 לְבַדֶּ֔ךָ H905 וְכָל H3605 thou thyself alone and all the people הָעָ֛ם H5971 stand נִצָּ֥ב H5324 עָלֶ֖יךָ H5921 מִן H4480 by thee from morning בֹּ֥קֶר H1242 עַד H5704 unto even עָֽרֶב׃ H6153 15 said וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 And Moses מֹשֶׁ֖ה H4872 unto his father in law לְחֹֽתְנ֑וֹ H2859 כִּֽי H3588 come יָבֹ֥א H935 אֵלַ֛י H413 Because the people הָעָ֖ם H5971 unto me to enquire לִדְרֹ֥שׁ H1875 of God אֱלֹהִֽים׃ H430 16 כִּֽי H3588 יִהְיֶ֨ה H1961 לָהֶ֤ם H0 When they have a matter דָּבָר֙ H1697 they come בָּ֣א H935 אֵלַ֔י H413 unto me and I judge וְשָׁ֣פַטְתִּ֔י H8199 בֵּ֥ין H996 between one אִ֖ישׁ H376 וּבֵ֣ין H996 and another רֵעֵ֑הוּ H7453 and I do make them know וְהֽוֹדַעְתִּ֛י H3045 אֶת H853 the statutes חֻקֵּ֥י H2706 of God הָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 וְאֶת H853 and his laws תּֽוֹרֹתָֽיו׃ H8451 17 said וַיֹּ֛אמֶר H559 father in law חֹתֵ֥ן H2859 And Moses מֹשֶׁ֖ה H4872 אֵלָ֑יו H413 לֹא H3808 is not good טוֹב֙ H2896 unto him The thing הַדָּבָ֔ר H1697 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 אַתָּ֖ה H859 that thou doest עֹשֶֽׂה׃ H6213 18 Thou wilt surely תִּבֹּ֔ל H5034 Thou wilt surely תִּבֹּ֔ל H5034 גַּם H1571 אַתָּ֕ה H859 גַּם H1571 both thou and this people הָעָ֥ם H5971 הַזֶּ֖ה H2088 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 עִמָּ֑ךְ H5973 כִּֽי H3588 is too heavy כָבֵ֤ד H3515 מִמְּךָ֙ H4480 that is with thee for this thing הַדָּבָ֔ר H1697 לֹֽא H3808 for thee thou art not able תוּכַ֥ל H3201 to perform עֲשֹׂ֖הוּ H6213 לְבַדֶּֽךָ׃ H905 19 עַתָּ֞ה H6258 Hearken שְׁמַ֤ע H8085 now unto my voice בְּקֹלִי֙ H6963 I will give thee counsel אִיעָ֣צְךָ֔ H3289 shall be הֱיֵ֧ה H1961 and God הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃ H430 עִמָּ֑ךְ H5973 shall be הֱיֵ֧ה H1961 אַתָּ֣ה H859 with thee Be thou for the people לָעָ֗ם H5971 to God-ward מ֚וּל H4136 and God הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃ H430 that thou mayest bring וְהֵֽבֵאתָ֥ H935 אַתָּ֛ה H859 אֶת H853 the causes הַדְּבָרִ֖ים H1697 אֶל H413 and God הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃ H430 20 And thou shalt teach וְהִזְהַרְתָּ֣ה H2094 אֶתְהֶ֔ם H853 אֶת H853 them ordinances הַֽחֻקִּ֖ים H2706 וְאֶת H853 and laws הַתּוֹרֹ֑ת H8451 and shalt shew וְהֽוֹדַעְתָּ֣ H3045 לָהֶ֗ם H0 אֶת H853 them the way הַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ H1870 יֵ֣לְכוּ H1980 בָ֔הּ H0 וְאֶת H853 and the work הַֽמַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה H4639 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 that they must do יַֽעֲשֽׂוּן׃ H6213 21 וְאַתָּ֣ה H859 Moreover thou shalt provide תֶֽחֱזֶ֣ה H2372 מִכָּל H3605 out of all the people הָ֠עָם H5971 אַנְשֵׁי H376 able חַ֜יִל H2428 such as fear יִרְאֵ֧י H3373 God אֱלֹהִ֛ים H430 אַנְשֵׁ֥י H376 of truth אֱמֶ֖ת H571 hating שֹׂ֣נְאֵי H8130 covetousness בָ֑צַע H1215 and place וְשַׂמְתָּ֣ H7760 עֲלֵהֶ֗ם H5921 and rulers וְשָׂרֵ֥י H8269 of thousands אֲלָפִים֙ H505 and rulers וְשָׂרֵ֥י H8269 of hundreds מֵא֔וֹת H3967 and rulers וְשָׂרֵ֥י H8269 of fifties חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים H2572 and rulers וְשָׂרֵ֥י H8269 of tens עֲשָׂרֹֽת׃ H6235 22 And let them judge יִשְׁפְּטוּ H8199 אֶת H853 the people הָעָם֮ H5971 בְּכָל H3605 at all seasons עֵת֒ H6256 וְהָיָ֞ה H1961 כָּל H3605 matter הַדָּבָ֥ר H1697 and it shall be that every great הַגָּדֹל֙ H1419 they shall bring יָבִ֣יאוּ H935 אֵלֶ֔יךָ H413 וְכָל H3605 matter הַדָּבָ֥ר H1697 unto thee but every small הַקָּטֹ֖ן H6996 And let them judge יִשְׁפְּטוּ H8199 הֵ֑ם H1992 so shall it be easier וְהָקֵל֙ H7043 מֵֽעָלֶ֔יךָ H5921 for thyself and they shall bear וְנָֽשְׂא֖וּ H5375 אִתָּֽךְ׃ H854 23 אִ֣ם H518 אֶת H853 this thing הַדָּבָ֤ר H1697 הַזֶּה֙ H2088 If thou shalt do תַּֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה H6213 command וְצִוְּךָ֣ H6680 and God אֱלֹהִ֔ים H430 thee so then thou shalt be able וְיָֽכָלְתָּ֖ H3201 to endure עֲמֹ֑ד H5975 וְגַם֙ H1571 כָּל H3605 and all this people הָעָ֣ם H5971 הַזֶּ֔ה H2088 עַל H5921 to their place מְקֹמ֖וֹ H4725 shall also go יָבֹ֥א H935 in peace בְשָׁלֽוֹם׃ H7965 24 hearkened וַיִּשְׁמַ֥ע H8085 So Moses מֹשֶׁ֖ה H4872 to the voice לְק֣וֹל H6963 of his father in law חֹֽתְנ֑וֹ H2859 and did וַיַּ֕עַשׂ H6213 כֹּ֖ל H3605 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 all that he had said אָמָֽר׃ H559 25 chose וַיִּבְחַ֨ר H977 And Moses מֹשֶׁ֤ה H4872 men אַנְשֵׁי H582 able חַ֙יִל֙ H2428 מִכָּל H3605 out of all Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל H3478 and made וַיִּתֵּ֥ן H5414 אֹתָ֛ם H853 them heads רָאשִׁ֖ים H7218 עַל H5921 over the people הָעָ֑ם H5971 and rulers וְשָׂרֵ֥י H8269 of thousands אֲלָפִים֙ H505 and rulers וְשָׂרֵ֥י H8269 of hundreds מֵא֔וֹת H3967 and rulers וְשָׂרֵ֥י H8269 of fifties חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים H2572 and rulers וְשָׂרֵ֥י H8269 of tens עֲשָׂרֹֽת׃ H6235 26 And they judged יִשְׁפּוּט֥וּ H8199 אֶת H853 the people הָעָ֖ם H5971 בְּכָל H3605 at all seasons עֵ֑ת H6256 אֶת H853 causes הַדָּבָ֥ר H1697 the hard הַקָּשֶׁה֙ H7186 they brought יְבִיא֣וּן H935 אֶל H413 unto Moses מֹשֶׁ֔ה H4872 וְכָל H3605 causes הַדָּבָ֥ר H1697 but every
