10 said וַיֹּ֨אמֶר H559 And the LORD יְהוָ֤ה H3068 אֶל H413 unto Moses מֹשֶׁה֙ H4872 לֵ֣ךְ H1980 אֶל H413 unto the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 and sanctify וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֥ם H6942 them to day הַיּ֖וֹם H3117 and to morrow וּמָחָ֑ר H4279 and let them wash וְכִבְּס֖וּ H3526 their clothes שִׂמְלֹתָֽם׃ H8071 11 וְהָי֥וּ H1961 And be ready נְכֹנִ֖ים H3559 day בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 against the third הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֗י H7992 הִשָּֽׁמְר֥וּ H8104 לָכֶ֛ם H0 to yourselves that ye go not up עֲל֥וֹת H5927 into the mount בָּהָ֖ר H2022 of it whosoever toucheth הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ H5060 the border בְּקָצֵ֑הוּ H7097 כָּל H3605 of it whosoever toucheth הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ H5060 into the mount בָּהָ֖ר H2022 put to death יוּמָֽת׃ H4191 put to death יוּמָֽת׃ H4191 13 לֹֽא H3808 touch תִגַּ֨ע H5060 בּ֜וֹ H0 There shall not an hand יָ֗ד H3027 H3808 it shall not live יִֽחְיֶ֑ה H2421 soundeth long בִּמְשֹׁךְ֙ H4900 when the trumpet הַיֹּבֵ֔ל H3104 הֵ֖מָּה H1992 they shall come up יַֽעֲל֥וּ H5927 to the mount בָהָֽר׃ H2022 14 went down וַיֵּ֧רֶד H3381 And Moses מֹשֶׁ֛ה H4872 מִן H4480 from the mount הָהָ֖ר H2022 אֶל H413 the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 and sanctified וַיְקַדֵּשׁ֙ H6942 אֶת H853 the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 and they washed וַֽיְכַבְּס֖וּ H3526 their clothes שִׂמְלֹתָֽם׃ H8071 15 And he said וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 אֶל H413 unto the people הָעָ֔ם H5971 Be הֱי֥וּ H1961 ready נְכֹנִ֖ים H3559 against the third לִשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת H7969 day יָמִ֑ים H3117 אַֽל H408 come תִּגְּשׁ֖וּ H5066 אֶל H413 not at your wives אִשָּֽׁה׃ H802 16 וַיְהִי֩ H1961 day בַיּ֨וֹם H3117 And it came to pass on the third הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֜י H7992 בִּֽהְיֹ֣ת H1961 in the morning הַבֹּ֗קֶר H1242 וַיְהִי֩ H1961 and the voice וְקֹ֥ל H6963 and lightnings וּבְרָקִ֜ים H1300 cloud וְעָנָ֤ן H6051 and a thick כָּבֵד֙ H3515 עַל H5921 upon the mount הָהָ֔ר H2022 and the voice וְקֹ֥ל H6963 of the trumpet שֹׁפָ֖ר H7782 loud חָזָ֣ק H2389 exceeding מְאֹ֑ד H3966 trembled וַיֶּֽחֱרַ֥ד H2729 כָּל H3605 so that all the people הָעָ֖ם H5971 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 that was in the camp בַּֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃ H4264 17 brought forth וַיּוֹצֵ֨א H3318 And Moses מֹשֶׁ֧ה H4872 אֶת H853 the people הָעָ֛ם H5971 to meet לִקְרַ֥את H7125 with God הָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 מִן H4480 out of the camp הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה H4264 and they stood וַיִּֽתְיַצְּב֖וּ H3320 at the nether בְּתַחְתִּ֥ית H8482 part of the mount הָהָֽר׃ H2022 18 And mount הָהָ֖ר H2022 Sinai סִינַי֙ H5514 was altogether on a smoke עָשַׁ֣ן H6225 כֻּלּ֔וֹ H3605 because מִ֠פְּנֵי H6440 אֲשֶׁ֨ר H834 descended יָרַ֥ד H3381 עָלָ֛יו H5921 the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 upon it in fire בָּאֵ֑שׁ H784 thereof ascended וַיַּ֤עַל H5927 and the smoke כְּעֶ֣שֶׁן H6227 and the smoke כְּעֶ֣שֶׁן H6227 of a furnace הַכִּבְשָׁ֔ן H3536 quaked וַיֶּֽחֱרַ֥ד H2729 כָּל H3605 And mount הָהָ֖ר H2022 greatly מְאֹֽד׃ H3966 19 וַֽיְהִי֙ H1961 And when the voice בְקֽוֹל׃ H6963 of the trumpet הַשֹּׁפָ֔ר H7782 And when the voice בְקֽוֹל׃ H6963 and waxed louder וְחָזֵ֣ק H2390 and louder מְאֹ֑ד H3966 Moses מֹשֶׁ֣ה H4872 spake יְדַבֵּ֔ר H1696 and God וְהָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 answered יַֽעֲנֶ֥נּוּ H6030 And when the voice בְקֽוֹל׃ H6963 20 came down וַיֵּ֧רֶד H3381 And the LORD יְהוָ֧ה H3068 עַל H5921 of the mount הָהָ֖ר H2022 Sinai סִינַ֖י H5514 up to אֶל H413 on the top רֹ֥אשׁ H7218 of the mount הָהָ֖ר H2022 called וַיִּקְרָ֨א H7121 And the LORD יְהוָ֧ה H3068 Moses מֹשֶֽׁה׃ H4872 up to אֶל H413 on the top רֹ֥אשׁ H7218 of the mount הָהָ֖ר H2022 went up וַיַּ֥עַל H5927 Moses מֹשֶֽׁה׃ H4872 21 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 And the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 אֶל H413 unto Moses מֹשֶׁ֔ה H4872 Go down רֵ֖ד H3381 charge הָעֵ֣ד H5749 the people בָּעָ֑ם H5971 פֶּן H6435 lest they break through יֶֽהֶרְס֤וּ H2040 אֶל H413 And the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 to gaze לִרְא֔וֹת H7200 of them perish וְנָפַ֥ל H5307 מִמֶּ֖נּוּ H4480 and many רָֽב׃ H7227 22 וְגַ֧ם H1571 And let the priests הַכֹּֽהֲנִ֛ים H3548 also which come near הַנִּגָּשִׁ֥ים H5066 אֶל H413 themselves lest the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 sanctify יִתְקַדָּ֑שׁוּ H6942 פֶּן H6435 break forth יִפְרֹ֥ץ H6555 בָּהֶ֖ם H0 themselves lest the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 23 said לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 And Moses מֹשֶׁה֙ H4872 אֶל H413 unto the LORD יְהוָ֔ה H3068 לֹֽא H3808 cannot יוּכַ֣ל H3201 The people הָעָ֔ם H5971 come up לַֽעֲלֹ֖ת H5927 אֶל H413 about the mount הָהָ֖ר H2022 Sinai סִינָ֑י H5514 כִּֽי H3588 אַתָּ֞ה H859 for thou chargedst הַֽעֵדֹ֤תָה H5749 בָּ֙נוּ֙ H0 said לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 Set bounds הַגְבֵּ֥ל H1379 אֶת H853 about the mount הָהָ֖ר H2022 and sanctify וְקִדַּשְׁתּֽוֹ׃ H6942 24 said וַיֹּ֨אמֶר H559 אֵלָ֤יו H413 And the LORD יְהוָ֖ה H3068 לֶךְ H1980 get thee down רֵ֔ד H3381 and thou shalt come up לַֽעֲלֹ֥ת H5927 אַתָּ֖ה H859 thou and Aaron וְאַֽהֲרֹ֣ן H175 עִמָּ֑ךְ H5973 with thee but let not the priests וְהַכֹּֽהֲנִ֣ים H3548 and the people וְהָעָ֗ם H5971 אַל H408 break through יֶֽהֶרְס֛וּ H2040 and thou
