child הַיָּֽלֶד׃ H3206 8 said וַתֹּֽאמֶר H559 לָ֥הּ H0 daughter בַּת H1323 And Pharaoh's פַּרְעֹ֖ה H6547 לֵ֑כִי H1980 וַתֵּ֙לֶךְ֙ H1980 And the maid הָֽעַלְמָ֔ה H5959 and called וַתִּקְרָ֖א H7121 אֶת H853 mother אֵ֥ם H517 the child's הַיָּֽלֶד׃ H3206 9 said וַתֹּ֧אמֶר H559 לָ֣הּ H0 daughter בַּת H1323 And Pharaoh's פַּרְעֹ֗ה H6547 הֵילִ֜יכִי H1980 אֶת H853 the child הַיֶּ֖לֶד H3206 הַזֶּה֙ H2088 and nurse וְהֵֽינִקִ֣הוּ H3243 לִ֔י H0 וַֽאֲנִ֖י H589 it for me and I will give אֶתֵּ֣ן H5414 אֶת H853 thee thy wages שְׂכָרֵ֑ךְ H7939 took וַתִּקַּ֧ח H3947 And the woman הָֽאִשָּׁ֛ה H802 the child הַיֶּ֖לֶד H3206 and nursed וַתְּנִיקֵֽהוּ׃ H5134 10 grew וַיִּגְדַּ֣ל H1431 And the child הַיֶּ֗לֶד H3206 and she brought וַתְּבִאֵ֙הוּ֙ H935 daughter לְבַת H1323 him unto Pharaoh's פַּרְעֹ֔ה H6547 וַֽיְהִי H1961 לָ֖הּ H0 and he became her son לְבֵ֑ן H1121 And she called וַתִּקְרָ֤א H7121 his name שְׁמוֹ֙ H8034 Moses מֹשֶׁ֔ה H4872 and she said וַתֹּ֕אמֶר H559 כִּ֥י H3588 מִן H4480 him out of the water הַמַּ֖יִם H4325 Because I drew מְשִׁיתִֽהוּ׃ H4871 11 וַיְהִ֣י׀ H1961 And it came to pass in those days בַּיָּמִ֣ים H3117 הָהֵ֗ם H1992 was grown וַיִּגְדַּ֤ל H1431 when Moses מֹשֶׁה֙ H4872 that מִצְרִ֔י H4713 smiting מַכֶּ֥ה H5221 אִישׁ H376 an Hebrew עִבְרִ֖י H5680 one of his brethren מֵֽאֶחָֽיו׃ H251 12 And he looked וַיִּ֤פֶן H6437 and that way וָכֹ֔ה H3541 and that way וָכֹ֔ה H3541 and when he saw וַיַּ֖רְא H7200 כִּ֣י H3588 אֵ֣ין H369 that there was no man אִ֑ישׁ H376 he slew וַיַּךְ֙ H5221 אֶת H853 the Egyptian הַמִּצְרִ֔י H4713 and hid וַֽיִּטְמְנֵ֖הוּ H2934 him in the sand בַּחֽוֹל׃ H2344 13 And when he went out וַיֵּצֵא֙ H3318 day בַּיּ֣וֹם H3117 the second הַשֵּׁנִ֔י H8145 וְהִנֵּ֛ה H2009 behold two שְׁנֵֽי H8147 אֲנָשִׁ֥ים H376 of the Hebrews עִבְרִ֖ים H5680 strove נִצִּ֑ים H5327 together and he said וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ H559 to him that did the wrong לָֽרָשָׁ֔ע H7563 לָ֥מָּה H4100 Wherefore smitest תַכֶּ֖ה H5221 thou thy fellow רֵעֶֽךָ׃ H7453 14 And he said וַיֹּאמַ֔ר H559 מִ֣י H4310 Who made שָֽׂמְךָ֞ H7760 thee לְאִ֨ישׁ H376 a prince שַׂ֤ר H8269 and a judge וְשֹׁפֵט֙ H8199 עָלֵ֔ינוּ H5921 me as thou killedst הָרַ֖גְתָּ H2026 אַתָּ֣ה H859 And he said וַיֹּאמַ֔ר H559 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 me as thou killedst הָרַ֖גְתָּ H2026 אֶת H853 the Egyptian הַמִּצְרִ֑י H4713 feared וַיִּירָ֤א H3372 And Moses מֹשֶׁה֙ H4872 And he said וַיֹּאמַ֔ר H559 Surely אָכֵ֖ן H403 is בָּנ֑וֹת H1323 and they came וַתָּבֹ֣אנָה H935 and drew וַתִּדְלֶ֗נָה H1802 water and filled וַתְּמַלֶּ֙אנָה֙ H4390 אֶת H853 the troughs הָ֣רְהָטִ֔ים H7298 to water לְהַשְׁק֖וֹת H8248 flock צֹ֥אן H6629 their father's אֲבִיהֶֽן׃ H1 17 came וַיָּבֹ֥אוּ H935 And the shepherds הָֽרֹעִ֖ים H7462 and drove them away וַיְגָֽרְשׁ֑וּם H1644 stood up וַיָּ֤קָם H6965 but Moses מֹשֶׁה֙ H4872 and helped וַיּ֣וֹשִׁעָ֔ן H3467 them and watered וַיַּ֖שְׁקְ H8248 אֶת H853 their flock צֹאנָֽם׃ H6629 18 And when they came בֹּ֖א H935 אֶל H413 to Reuel רְעוּאֵ֖ל H7467 their father אֲבִיהֶ֑ן H1 he said וַיֹּ֕אמֶר H559 How מַדּ֛וּעַ H4069 so soon מִֽהַרְתֶּ֥ן H4116 And when they came בֹּ֖א H935 to day הַיּֽוֹם׃ H3117 19 And they said וַתֹּאמַ֕רְןָ H559 אִ֣ישׁ H376 An Egyptian מִצְרִ֔י H4713 delivered הִצִּילָ֖נוּ H5337 us out of the hand מִיַּ֣ד H3027 of the shepherds הָֽרֹעִ֑ים H7462 וְגַם H1571 and also drew דָלָה֙ H1802 and also drew דָלָה֙ H1802 לָ֔נוּ H0 for us and watered וַיַּ֖שְׁקְ H8248 אֶת H853 the flock הַצֹּֽאן׃ H6629 20 And he said וַיֹּ֥אמֶר H559 אֶל H413 unto his daughters בְּנֹתָ֖יו H1323 וְאַיּ֑וֹ H346 לָ֤מָּה H4100 זֶּה֙ H2088 And where is he why is it that ye have left עֲזַבְתֶּ֣ן H5800 אֶת H853 the man הָאִ֔ישׁ H376 call קִרְאֶ֥ן H7121 ל֖וֹ H0 him that he may eat וְיֹ֥אכַל H398 bread לָֽחֶם׃ H3899 21 was content וַיּ֥וֹאֶל H2974 And Moses לְמֹשֶֽׁה׃ H4872 to dwell לָשֶׁ֣בֶת H3427 אֶת H854 with the man הָאִ֑ישׁ H376 and he gave וַיִּתֵּ֛ן H5414 אֶת H853 Zipporah צִפֹּרָ֥ה H6855 his daughter בִתּ֖וֹ H1323 And Moses לְמֹשֶֽׁה׃ H4872 22 And she bare וַתֵּ֣לֶד H3205 him a son בֵּ֔ן H1121 and he called וַיִּקְרָ֥א H7121 אֶת H853 his name שְׁמ֖וֹ H8034 Gershom גֵּֽרְשֹׁ֑ם H1647 כִּ֣י H3588 for he said אָמַ֔ר H559 I have been a stranger גֵּ֣ר H1616 הָיִ֔יתִי H1961 land בְּאֶ֖רֶץ H776 in a strange נָכְרִיָּֽה׃ H5237 23 וַיְהִי֩ H1961 of time בַיָּמִ֨ים H3117 הָֽרַבִּ֜ים H7227 And it came to pass in process הָהֵ֗ם H1992 died וַיָּ֙מָת֙ H4191 that the king מֶ֣לֶךְ H4428 of Egypt מִצְרַ֔יִם H4714 sighed וַיֵּאָֽנְח֧וּ H584 and the children בְנֵֽי H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל H3478 by reason of מִן H4480 by reason of the bondage הָֽעֲבֹדָֽה׃ H5656 and they cried וַיִּזְעָ֑קוּ H2199 came up וַתַּ֧עַל H5927 and their cry שַׁוְעָתָ֛ם H7775 אֶל H413 unto God הָֽאֱלֹהִ֖ים H430 by reason of מִן H4480 by reason of the bondage הָֽעֲבֹדָֽה׃ H5656 24 heard וַיִּשְׁמַ֥ע H8085 And God אֱלֹהִים֙ H430 אֶת H853 their groaning נַֽאֲקָתָ֑ם H5009 remembered וַיִּזְכֹּ֤ר H2142 And God אֱלֹהִים֙ H430 אֶת H853 his covenant בְּרִית֔וֹ H1285 אֶת H854 with Abraham אַבְרָהָ֖ם H85 אֶת H854 with Isaac יִצְחָ֥ק H3327 וְאֶֽת H854 and with Jacob יַעֲקֹֽב׃ H3290 25 looked וַיַּ֥רְא H7200 And God אֱלֹהִֽים׃ H430 אֶת H853 upon the children בְּנֵ֣י H1121 of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל H3478 had
