H834 commanded צִוָּ֧ה H6680 as the LORD יְהוָ֛ה H3068 אֹתָ֖ם H853 כֵּ֥ן H3651 did עָשֽׂוּ׃ H6213 7 And Moses וּמֹשֶׁה֙ H4872 old בֶּן H1121 fourscore וּשְׁמֹנִ֖ים H8084 years שָׁנָ֑ה H8141 and Aaron וְאַֽהֲרֹ֔ן H175 old בֶּן H1121 and three שָׁלֹ֥שׁ H7969 fourscore וּשְׁמֹנִ֖ים H8084 years שָׁנָ֑ה H8141 when they spake בְּדַבְּרָ֖ם H1696 אֶל H413 unto Pharaoh פַּרְעֹֽה׃ H6547 8 saying לֵאמֹֽר׃ H6547 for you then thou shalt say וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֣ H559 Shew תְּנ֥וּ H5414 לָכֶ֖ם H0 a miracle מוֹפֵ֑ת H4159 for you then thou shalt say וְאָֽמַרְתָּ֣ H559 אֶֽל H413 unto Aaron אַהֲרֹ֗ן H175 Take קַ֧ח H3947 אֶֽת H853 thy rod מַטְּךָ֛ H4294 and cast וְהַשְׁלֵ֥ךְ H7993 it before לִפְנֵֽי H6440 Pharaoh פַרְעֹ֖ה H6547 יְהִ֥י H1961 and it shall become a serpent לְתַנִּֽין׃ H8577 10 went in וַיָּבֹ֨א H935 And Moses מֹשֶׁ֤ה H4872 and Aaron אַֽהֲרֹ֜ן H175 אֶל H413 Pharaoh פַרְעֹ֛ה H6547 and they did וַיַּ֣עַשׂוּ H6213 כֵ֔ן H3651 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 had commanded צִוָּ֣ה H6680 so as the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 cast down וַיַּשְׁלֵ֨ךְ H7993 and Aaron אַֽהֲרֹ֜ן H175 אֶת H853 his rod מַטֵּ֗הוּ H4294 and before וְלִפְנֵ֥י H6440 Pharaoh פַרְעֹ֛ה H6547 and before וְלִפְנֵ֥י H6440 his servants עֲבָדָ֖יו H5650 וַיְהִ֥י H1961 and it became a serpent לְתַנִּֽין׃ H8577 11 also called וַיִּקְרָא֙ H7121 גַּם H1571 Then Pharaoh פַּרְעֹ֔ה H6547 the wise men לַֽחֲכָמִ֖ים H2450 and the sorcerers וְלַֽמְכַשְּׁפִ֑ים H3784 they also did וַיַּֽעֲשׂ֨וּ H6213 גַם H1571 הֵ֜ם H1992 now the magicians חַרְטֻמֵּ֥י H2748 of Egypt מִצְרַ֛יִם H4714 with their enchantments בְּלַֽהֲטֵיהֶ֖ם H3858 in like manner כֵּֽן׃ H3651 12 For they cast down וַיַּשְׁלִ֙יכוּ֙ H7993 every man אִ֣ישׁ H376 his rod מַטֹּתָֽם׃ H4294 וַיִּֽהְי֖וּ H1961 and they became serpents לְתַנִּינִ֑ם H8577 swallowed up וַיִּבְלַ֥ע H1104 his rod מַטֹּתָֽם׃ H4294 but Aaron's אַהֲרֹ֖ן H175 אֶת H853 his rod מַטֹּתָֽם׃ H4294 13 And he hardened וַיֶּֽחֱזַק֙ H2388 heart לֵ֣ב H3820 Pharaoh's פַּרְעֹ֔ה H6547 וְלֹ֥א H3808 that he hearkened שָׁמַ֖ע H8085 אֲלֵהֶ֑ם H413 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֖ר H834 had said דִּבֶּ֥ר H1696 not unto them as the LORD יְהוָֽה׃ H3068 14 said וַיֹּ֤אמֶר H559 And the LORD יְהוָה֙ H3068 אֶל H413 unto Moses מֹשֶׁ֔ה H4872 is hardened כָּבֵ֖ד H3515 heart לֵ֣ב H3820 Pharaoh's פַּרְעֹ֑ה H6547 he refuseth מֵאֵ֖ן H3985 go לְשַׁלַּ֥ח H7971 to let the people הָעָֽם׃ H5971 15 לֵ֣ךְ H1980 אֶל H413 thee unto Pharaoh פַּרְעֹ֞ה H6547 in the morning בַּבֹּ֗קֶר H1242 הִנֵּה֙ H2009 lo he goeth out יֹצֵ֣א H3318 unto the water הַמַּ֔יְמָה H4325 and thou shalt stand וְנִצַּבְתָּ֥ H5324 against he come לִקְרָאת֖וֹ H7125 עַל H5921 brink שְׂפַ֣ת H8193 by the river's הַיְאֹ֑ר H2975 and the rod וְהַמַּטֶּ֛ה H4294 אֲשֶׁר H834 which was turned נֶהְפַּ֥ךְ H2015 to a serpent לְנָחָ֖שׁ H5175 shalt thou take תִּקַּ֥ח H3947 in thine hand בְּיָדֶֽךָ׃ H3027 16 And thou shalt say לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 אֵלָ֗יו H413 unto him The LORD יְהוָ֞ה H3068 God אֱלֹהֵ֤י H430 of the Hebrews הָֽעִבְרִים֙ H5680 go שַׁלַּח֙ H7971 אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ H413 And thou shalt say לֵאמֹ֔ר H559 go שַׁלַּח֙ H7971 אֶת H853 Let my people עַמִּ֔י H5971 that they may serve וְיַֽעַבְדֻ֖נִי H5647 me in the wilderness בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר H4057 וְהִנֵּ֥ה H2009 לֹֽא H3808 thou wouldest not hear שָׁמַ֖עְתָּ H8085 עַד H5704 and behold hitherto כֹּֽה׃ H3541 17 כֹּ֚ה H3541 Thus saith אָמַ֣ר H559 that I am the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 בְּזֹ֣את H2063 In this thou shalt know תֵּדַ֔ע H3045 כִּ֖י H3588 אֲנִ֣י H589 that I am the LORD יְהוָ֑ה H3068 הִנֵּ֨ה H2009 אָֽנֹכִ֜י H595 behold I will smite מַכֶּ֣ה׀ H5221 with the rod בַּמַּטֶּ֣ה H4294 אֲשֶׁר H834 that is in mine hand בְּיָדִ֗י H3027 עַל H5921 upon the waters הַמַּ֛יִם H4325 אֲשֶׁ֥ר H834 which are in the river בַּיְאֹ֖ר H2975 and they shall be turned וְנֶֽהֶפְכ֥וּ H2015 to blood לְדָֽם׃ H1818 18 And the fish וְהַדָּגָ֧ה H1710 אֲשֶׁר H834 and the river הַיְאֹֽר׃ H2975 shall die תָּמ֖וּת H4191 shall stink וּבָאַ֣שׁ H887 and the river הַיְאֹֽר׃ H2975 shall lothe וְנִלְא֣וּ H3811 and the Egyptians מִצְרַ֔יִם H4714 to H4714 both in vessels of wood וּבָֽעֵצִ֖ים H6086 and in vessels of stone וּבָֽאֲבָנִֽים׃ H68 20 did וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ H6213 כֵן֩ H3651 And Moses מֹשֶׁ֨ה H4872 and Aaron וְאַֽהֲרֹ֜ן H175 כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר׀ H834 commanded צִוָּ֣ה H6680 so as the LORD יְהוָ֗ה H3068 and he lifted up וַיָּ֤רֶם H7311 the rod בַּמַּטֶּה֙ H4294 and smote וַיַּ֤ךְ H5221 אֶת H853 and all the waters הַמַּ֥יִם H4325 אֲשֶׁ֣ר H834 that were in the river בַּיְאֹ֖ר H2975 and in the sight וּלְעֵינֵ֖י H5869 of Pharaoh פַרְעֹ֔ה H6547 and in the sight וּלְעֵינֵ֖י H5869 of his servants עֲבָדָ֑יו H5650 were turned וַיֵּהָֽפְכ֛וּ H2015 כָּל H3605 and all the waters הַמַּ֥יִם H4325 אֲשֶׁר H834 that were in the river בַּיְאֹ֖ר H2975 to blood לְדָֽם׃ H1818 21 And the fish וְהַדָּגָ֨ה H1710 אֲשֶׁר H834 and the river הַיְאֹ֑ר H2975 died מֵ֙תָה֙ H4191 stank וַיִּבְאַ֣שׁ H887 and the river הַיְאֹ֑ר H2975 וְלֹֽא H3808 could יָכְל֣וּ H3201 and the Egyptians מִצְרָֽיִם׃ H4714 not drink לִשְׁתּ֥וֹת H8354 of the water מַ֖יִם H4325 מִן H4480 and the river הַיְאֹ֑ר H2975 וַיְהִ֥י H1961 and there was blood הַדָּ֖ם H1818 בְּכָל H3605 throughout all the land אֶ֥רֶץ H776 and the Egyptians מִצְרָֽיִם׃ H4714 22 did וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ H6213 כֵ֛ן H3651 וַיָּבֹ֖א H935 אֶל H413 into his house בֵּית֑וֹ H1004 וְלֹא H3808 neither did he set שָׁ֥ת H7896 his heart לִבּ֖וֹ H3820 גַּם H1571 to this לָזֹֽאת׃ H2063 24 digged וַיַּחְפְּר֧וּ H2658 כָל H3605 And all the Egyptians מִצְרַ֛יִם H4714 round about סְבִיבֹ֥ת H5439 of the river הַיְאֹֽר׃ H2975 for water מִמֵּימֵ֖י H4325 not drink לִשְׁתֹּ֔ת H8354 כִּ֣י H3588 לֹ֤א H3808 for they could יָֽכְלוּ֙ H3201
